Chapter 119. The Magickal Lesson: Teleportation

After dinner, Brazam and Alexa exited the temple and walked about fifty meters. Along the way, the robed man thought about how to teach teleportation to Alexa, The Chosen One.
Teleportation is the challenging part because to get to this stage, not just any witch can do it, but if Alexa does not try, of course, she does not know. Goddess Magia had also told me to teach her from the most difficult, afterward, the easiest. For mind control, the girl showed success, whereas if she were new to learning magick, it would be impossible to do so. This girl is an exception, the High Priest thought.
They arrived at their destination. It looked like a field. The young girl realized that the place was vast, and as far as the eye could see, there were only trees. The full moon was visible, so its rays illuminated the area. Plus, there were so many stars in the sky, so the scene was impressive.
“This is… amazing,” said the chestnut brown-haired girl.
“Welcome into the magickal world, Alexa. In our place, the rules of the Goddess Magia apply. In the temple, our movement is limited for training, so the ideal is to be out in the open. There is a place for fairies here but in a different area.” Brazam explained.
“It is so beautiful, and this place is like a dream,” murmured the young woman, who had yet to take her eyes off the view around her. Alexa seemed to be busy with her own thoughts.
The older man smiled because, indeed, the sky looked so clear; the stars were scattered, coupled with the bright full moonlight, making anyone transfixed by the night’s beauty. The leader and magick teacher walked straight to the middle of the field. A sharp-nosed teenage girl also realized that, so she followed him. It took Alexa only a short time to arrive at the destination area, precisely on the left side of Brazam.
“Teleportation is very difficult for all witches because although it can be mastered, only a few succeed. To be able to move from one place to another, especially far away, does require a medium, other than spells.” Brazam began to explain, and Alexa was already concentrating on the teacher’s explanation.
“We will try to go straight into Emperor Aufdzek’s palace, especially the inside. You will see it.”
What is it about Emperor Aufdzek that we have to go there? While in the temple, I also carried out mind control on the man whose name Mr. Brazam had mentioned. I am curious, but I should not bother the teacher because he is focused on teaching knowledge, thought the granddaughter of Sir Elmer Louis Writh and Madame Phoenix Lily Katira.
“I will explain everything when the magick lesson is about to end; for now, concentrate fully on studying and collect all the questions first. When the time comes, you will be notified.” The one hundred and seventy-five-year-old man said suddenly, which answered Alexa’s question. However, the girl only said it silently.
“Yes, Master,” Alexa said obediently.
I forgot that High Priests can read minds. Yes, it is better to focus only a little on everything curious so that the results can be maximized, thought Alexa, who was looking forward to learning new things.
“Hold my left hand tightly, for this journey will not be easy!” The High Priest gave orders to the young girl.
Alexa was shocked but quickly regained her composure. A girl saw that the silver-haired man had thrust a palm towards her. Without wasting time, that teenage girl as soon as possible followed what Brazam had instructed.
“Before casting the spell, you must imagine where you are going. Imagine the place you want to reach as if you have arrived there, then continue with the spell. Follow my words: O De Magia, letznth merwth uqtz!” [1] Brazam said calmly.
The hazel-eyed girl began to envision Emperor Aufdzek’s palace, especially the areas that guards deserted. After everything was done, Alexa said firmly, “O De Magia, letznth merwth uqtz!”
There was an intense rush of wind as if it was sucking the body of the one hundred and seventy-five-year-old man and that teenage girl. More and more, the bodies of the two witches were pulled so strongly that they were almost separated. However, Brazam did not let go of Alexa’s hand in the slightest so that bad events could be avoided.
Oh my! Why is this happening? I am really dizzy, but I can’t do anything about it. It is like the High Priest and I are in a tornado vortex, where anything that gets inside can’t escape and most likely dies, thought Alexa, who was already panicking. However, she was a little relieved that her teacher was still holding her hand tightly.
Thirty minutes later, Brazam and Alexa landed on the hard floor. Their handholds slipped, leaving the virgin to focus on herself. “Ouch!” exclaimed the girl who fell to the floor.
Alexa tried to stand up, although it was a little tricky for her, while the teacher had already done so.
It is so hurtful. My first teleportation experience is terrible. No wonder few witches can master it because it feels so chaotic during the process of getting to the destination and after reaching the target area, thought Alexa, who was still dizzy.
“Take my hand.” A voice rang out, causing the chestnut-haired girl to turn her head and see a hand extended. Without thinking, Alexa held it as soon as possible. The teacher pulled his student firmly so that the young woman could stand up.
In less than two minutes, Alexa was able to get up. However, she was still a bit dizzy from the incomplete landing during teleportation. “Thank you, Master,” Alexa said.
“You are welcome. This is Emperor Aufdzek’s palace. We will mark off some areas so that when the time comes, no one will be able to get in the way. Follow my lead, and do not ask any questions.” Brazam told the interlocutor the outline of what they were going to do.
“Yes, sir,” the young disciple replied.
Brazam led the way so the intelligent girl could follow. The hallway was long, silent, and tense. The guards were nowhere to be seen, which made Alexa wonder. However, she recalled that before going into the palace, she and the teacher had chosen a quiet place, so all doubts were dispelled.
After walking for a while, the silver-haired man stopped in front of a door. He placed his right hand on it, recited an incantation, and then removed his palm. Brazam and Alexa continued their journey and stopped several times to repeat the same action. They returned to the place where they first came by teleportation.
“We are done. Now, let’s go home,” said the man in the robe.
“Yes, Master,” Alexa said to her teacher.
The older man man extended his left hand again, which was welcomed by the girl. “Our return process is still the same as the first time we left. Do you still remember the method and the spell that must be cast?” asked the teacher softly, like a grandfather asking his granddaughter.
“I still remember it, Master. Just a moment,” the hazel-eyed girl replied.
Alexa recalled the original destination: a field fifty meters away from the forbidden forest where she and Brazam first went to the palace.
Goddess Magia, may I request that the landing not cause pain like before so that my head does not spin? Alexa wished silently, not wanting the same thing to happen again.
“O De Magia, letznth merwth uqtz!” said the young lady.
The roar of the wind was again felt around them. In a few moments later, the wind had sucked the teacher and student into the magical vortex. Brazam and Alexa disappeared from the place to head to the field in the forbidden forest.
