Several hours later, around 04:00 PM,
A red-haired woman appeared to be walking down the stairs carefully.
I would not have wanted to do this if it were not for Lenny who told me to. Luckily, all the work has been completed, so it just remains to be given to my boss. Hopefully, Drena’s expulsion process goes smoothly so that the teenage girl and I can go straight to the girls’ dormitory, thought Loiston while holding a torch and a key.
Madame Loiston went downstairs more and the thirty-nine-year-old woman felt the stuffy air. However, this did not deter the Deputy Chairperson at the Ztatzav Orphanage. When she arrived at the basement, the woman seemed to deliberately not want to make the slightest sound, so she was meticulous in her steps.
“I want to get out of here as soon as possible!” The loud voice made the green-eyed woman frown. Loiston did not seem to believe what she had just heard, so she had to stop walking.
“Who shouted that? It sounded like a girl’s voice,” muttered Loiston softly.
A woman who had the principal’s trust now tried to be quiet so she could listen carefully to the voices there. Madame Loiston’s curiosity became increasingly unstoppable because she wanted to know what had happened there, especially when no one was looking because only two guards were stationed at the top.
“Stop it, Odessa! We are tired of hearing you scream all day!” Loiston heard another sound again but it was not as loud as the first. A woman who deliberately did not get married because she dedicated herself to work became even more curious and did not want to move to one of the detention rooms there.
“I can’t stand to get out of this prison! I hate that witch because she has caused us all to be punished!” The twelve-year-old girl ignored her male friend’s warning because she could not stand being locked up in the detention room for so long without being able even to look up.
“Do not blame her! Alexa did not do anything wrong! At that time, you attacked her first, and your actions were out of line!” A young man’s voice was heard, but this time, it sounded different from the one that had previously rebuked Odessa. Loiston continued to listen to the conversation between the three teenagers and did not want to interrupt at all to gather information about the group that liked to bully the messenger of Goddess Magia.
“You always defend her, Shul! Someone will definitely complain to Madame Aufrodine and Loiston, thus ruining my plans! I do not like seeing that witch in this orphanage! She must leave as soon as possible!” The girl, who had a height of one hundred and sixty-eight centimeters, continued to deny her male friend’s words because she felt that what she had done was normal.
“Do not say anything to her, Shul! It is no use telling her because Odessa is crazy.” The other young guy responded to his friend’s words because he could not stand the behavior of the opposite sex, which had gone too far in his opinion.
“How dare you to say like that to me! I’m still sane! I will take revenge on Alexa because she made me like this!” Odessa still blamed the daughter of the couple, Tristian Varden Writh and Lavena Isolda Keira, even though the young lady did not blame her rival.
Without the five teenagers realizing it, someone had overheard their conversation. Madame Loiston remained standing in her original place and had not moved from there. A woman, who was sensitive to mystical events, heard Odessa’s loud voice again. She continued to curse at Alexa, and none of her friends tried to stop the young girl from doing that.
“Hmm… if I heard from the conversation between Odessa and her group, it seems like she is jealous of the Chosen One. Alexa never bothers anyone, even though her appearance is very striking.” Madame Loiston said quietly so other people would not hear her words, especially the five teenagers still in their detention rooms.
A woman had freckles on her face, and although she did not wait too much for a few minutes, no new conversation was created between Odessa, Frazto, Drutz, Shul, and Drena. The girl who was always hostile to Alexa was still screaming, as if she wanted to vent all the frustration that was in her heart, even though what she did would not change the situation.
“Okay. Odessa and her friend do not chat anymore, so now it is time for me to go there and pick up Drena.” A woman with a sharp nose started walking so she would not waste any more time in the basement. Meanwhile, Odessa, Frazto, Shul, and Drena were not yet aware of Madame Loiston’s presence. The four teenagers remained silent, even though inside, they were sick of being there.
The red-haired woman got closer to the detention room where the target was. Meanwhile, Odessa still did not realize that there was one of the most influential people at the Ztatzav Orphanage because she was still screaming, which annoyed everyone with his actions. Drena was also lying on the floor and ignoring the surroundings, so the girl did not know about Madame Loiston’s presence.
Madame Loiston had just arrived at the door of the target’s detention room, and the virgin was still in the same position. “Drena, it is time for you to get out of here.”
The name owner had not heard Madame Loiston’s words because the sound of Odessa’s screams covered it. A woman with thick eyebrows was holding back her annoyance because Drena could not hear her voice, so the Deputy Chair was forced to close her eyes for a few seconds while gathering all the anger in her heart, then screamed at the top of her lungs, “Shut up!”
Without further ado, this scream attracted the attention of the five teenagers in a separate detention room. Odessa did not dare to shout back because she felt it was not the voice of a woman she knew. When the dungeon was quiet again, Madame Loiston looked at Drena. “It is time for you to leave here.”
The timid girl’s expression, which was initially listless, brightened up as soon as possible. “Is… is that true, Madame Loiston?” asked Drena, who stammered because she did not believe the words spoken by the person she was talking to.
“That was right, Drena. Hurry up! We do not have much time,” answered Madame Loiston as she opened the lock on the target’s detention room.
“Yes, Madame.” Drena quickly changed position and then stood up. The hope of getting out of that place, which had disappeared, now appears with the arrival of Madame Loiston, who told the young girl to come with her.
“Excuse me, Madame. How about us?” A stocky young man asked Loiston, but he used a polite tone to avoid offending the other person.
“I was only asked by Madame Aufrodine to pick up Drena. Regarding you, I have not received any instructions from The Principle.” Loiston was grateful because before going there, she had received instructions from her colleague regarding his situation.
Frazto’s expression turned gloomy. It was not just the young man who was sad; his three other friends, namely Drutz, Shul, and Odessa, also felt the same way. They did not dare to argue, but the man, who had a height of one hundred and sixty-six centimeters tall, was curious about when he would be able to get out of that terrible place.
“May I know when we will be out of this place, Madame? If I am not mistaken, the five of us went into the detention room together, but why are we different when we want to come out?” The young man still tried to remain polite when asking questions. Frazto was not jealous of Drena’s luck, but he needed confirmation from Madame Loiston regarding his fate and that of the four friends still in their detention rooms.
The twelve-year-old girl was standing in front of Madame Loiston. A woman, whose full name was Ioxinete Loiston, did not answer the teenage boy’s question because she preferred to focus on the adolescent girl with the same hair color as her. “Are you ready, Drena?”
“I am ready, Madame.” Drena did not hide her happiness because she had been waiting for this for a long time.
“Great. Let’s go!” The woman who liked to work hard invited Drena out of the detention room where she had been for a month. Meanwhile, Frazto realized that the opposite sex had not answered his current question, so he did not want this golden opportunity to be missed.
“Excuse me, Madame. How about us? When will Madame Aufrodine expel us?” Frazto repeated the question again and was forced to use a rather loud voice to attract the attention of Madame Loiston, who had come out of the detention room with Drena.
A woman whose nickname was Apple was silent. She turned towards the source of the sound and saw a young man in front of the door, which was still tightly locked. “Regarding your question, I do not know for sure because I have to ask the principal. She must decide everything in this orphanage. I hope it will not take too long.”
After answering Frazto’s question, Madame Loiston and Drena walked out of the underground room area as soon as possible. The four poor teenagers could not protest because they knew what the thirty-nine-year-old woman said was true.
