A few moments later,
A red-haired young man was seen carrying a young lady who looked in pain. They were not alone because three other teenagers accompanied them. They arrived in front of the medical room, and when the five teenagers had just arrived there, the door was opened from the inside, which shocked Sam, Aileen, Aiden, Adaline, and Alexa, so they stopped walking at the same time.
A slim woman was seen coming out of the medical room, then spontaneously looked to the left. Madame Ethnia’s assistant was shocked because she realized that five teenagers had arrived. “What happened?” Menka asked, seeing Sam carrying a young teenage girl.
“Excuse me, Madame. Our friend has a strange disease, so we need help from you or Madame Ethnia,” Samuel answered honestly.
A woman, who had a height of one hundred and sixty-four centimetres tall, was confused. But she noticed as soon as possible that Aileen’s calf had an unusual bruise, and it made her panic. “Take her inside quick! Do not be late!”
Madame Ethnia’s assistant had permitted Samuel and Aileen to enter the medical room, so the young man, without further ado, rushed there, followed by their three friends. The teenage boy laid his female friend on the bed, which had been provided for anyone who was sick and came there. Meanwhile, Alexa stood next to Samuel as if she did not want to be far from Adaline’s twin sister.
Menka looked at Aileen’s calf and saw a strange bruise with a bite mark. However, the blonde woman deliberately did not tell anyone because the Junior Healer did not want to cause panic among the five teenagers there.
It is so strange. Why do I see teeth marks on the girl’s feet? Does she have problems with supernatural beings? Let me tell Madame Ethnia, thought Menka, seriously. When she was about to approach the target, the woman, who looked youthful, was shocked because she saw a pair of magical black dogs near Alexa.
“What happened, Madame?” asked Adaline, who noticed Menka’s pale face.
“Ah, nothing. I am great. I want to check your friend’s condition first,” answered Menka, a little nervous. The blue-eyed woman tried to ignore her fear, even though she knew that the two dogs were looking at her because Adaline’s question was beyond her expectations.
“Okay. You can check my sister, Madame.” The young woman still saw something strange in the other person’s attitude, but she did not know what was causing it and continued observing the Junior Healer’s movements with suspicion.
When Menka arrived near Aileen, a woman had just come out of another room. She frowned, seeing that there were many guests in the medical room. “Is that Madame Loiston and Aufrodine? It is impossible. They could not have come here unless they had received bad news about the arrival of the emperor’s envoy or perhaps something else related to the Chosen One,” muttered Madame Ethnia, surprised.
The Senior Healer walked toward where there were many people, and she was also shocked because she saw two large black dogs standing near Alexa. Ethnia was silent for a few moments, especially as the curvy woman realized that the gazes of the two supernatural beings were starting to turn toward her. The two pairs of red eyes had shrunk Ethnia’s guts, but she tried to remain calm to not arouse everyone’s suspicion.
Why are there two magical black dogs here? Are they Goddess Magia’s pet companions? If that was true. I know that something must have gone wrong for that immortal goddess to act like that. I am sure that Alexa did not realize their presence. Madame Ethnia thought as she continued to get closer to the target.
Menka tried to heal Aileen, who was still in pain from being bitten by a magical dog, but the poor girl did not know that. She tried to endure the pain, and it was clearly visible from her face. Aiden was the first to realize that Madame Ethnia was there, so the young man patted Sam, Adaline, and Alexa’s shoulders in turn. They immediately turned around and saw the Senior Healer walking towards them.
“What has happened?” Madame Ethnia asked the young woman with long, black hair.
“We did not know, Madame. When we were in the dining room, Aileen, Alexa, and I were chatting. But suddenly, my twin sister was screaming, and we saw her calf was bruised,” answered the young woman who had a mole on her cheek to the right.
A thirty-seven-year-old woman nodded, then turned her focus to the bed. The bruise on her calf reduced significantly, and Menka had finished using internal energy to heal the strange bruise. When the Senior Healer turned around, she was stunned to see Ethnia standing near Adaline.
The silver-haired woman deliberately approached Menka, and the assistant began to understand that Madame Ethnia wanted to discuss something important with her.
“Menka, do you know what caused the patient to become like that?” Ethnia asked in a foreign language, which only the two of them understood. Meanwhile, the five teenagers in the medical room could only watch the movements of the two Healers, but they could not do anything.
“I am sure it was all caused by one of the magical dogs that followed the Chosen One.” The woman answered honestly but did not dare to look at the daughter of the couple, Tistian Varden Writh and Lavena Isolda Keira.
“If I am not mistaken, those two black dogs belong to the Queen of Witches. If it were not an emergency, she would not have ordered her pet companion to escort the Chosen One.” A woman, who had been a Healer for seventeen years, began to stare at the target’s calf, raised her right palm, and channeled healing energy there.
Alexa, Samuel, Aiden, Adaline, and Aileen still did not understand what the two Healers were talking about. However, the young woman who was lying on the bed while enduring the pain was starting to feel comfortable because of the healing energy given by Madame Ethnia, so she no longer grimaced like before. All the senior’s words had made Menka think hard, so she reached a conclusion.
“If that was true, perhaps the Goddess of Witchcraft did this on purpose because she knew that Odessa and her friends, who are currently still in detention, would soon be released?” A woman who had not yet gained the trust of Goddess Erie also gave her opinion, which made Ethnia silent for a moment, but she still channelled the same energy to the poor Aileen.
“I have no idea about that.” That was all the woman, who had a height of one hundred and sixty-seven centimeters tall, could say. Ethnia deliberately remained silent as if reluctant to continue the same topic of conversation. Meanwhile, Menka could not do much, such as understand the silence of his interlocutor, which seemed strange.
“Madame, what if one of the four teenagers asks me what caused the victim to get that strange bruise?” Menka suddenly asked because she remembered who Aileen’s friends were, which made it difficult for her to answer these questions.
“You can tell them that allergies could cause it. They can ask me for details directly, so they will stop asking you.” That grey-eyed woman answered calmly, then glanced at Aileen’s calf. The bruising in that area had reduced a lot, which relieved Madame Ethnia slightly.
“Yes, Madame. Is there anything I can help you with? I will be glad to help you.” The beautiful woman offered help sincerely. Ethnia had not answered yet because the Healer was thinking about what kind of help would be suitable for the person she was talking to.
“Bring me a medium box containing preparations from medicinal plants. If I am not mistaken, I have made many potions that can be applied to wounds caused by interference from magical animals. I am not sure if any of them can heal our patient’s bruises, but we will try and see it later.” Ethnia remembered the medicine she had made, so the Senior Healer started giving instructions to her assistant so Menka could understand the information.
“I understand, Madame. I will bring that box here.” Menka turned around and saw the four teenagers who had been paying attention to his conversation with Madame Ethnia.
Samuel, Adaline, Alexa, and Aiden’s gazes were curious, hoping that the Junior Healer would provide them with information. Menka felt this, so she was forced to converse with one of the four teenagers waiting for Aileen in the medical room. “Do you want to ask me something?”
“What about my twin sister’s condition? What caused her to become like that, Madame Menka?” Adaline asked anxiously.
“Actually, Aileen was able to do that because she experienced something unusual, namely being hit by a-”
