Book:Alexa The Dark Witch Published:2024-8-20

Four days later,
In a large forest, five soldiers were seen riding their horses. They looked tired because the sun was shining so hot. Even though the five men were now in the forest, they still could not stand the temperature they were feeling.
“How about we just rest now? The weather is scorching, so there is no way we can continue our journey.” A man in the middle said slightly loud so that his friends could hear him. The men behind him and to his right were seen nodding because they were also thirsty, and sweat was flowing from their foreheads.
“I agree with your idea, Barra! Hey, Arlan! It is better if we rest first. If possible, that place must be close to the river, so drinking water will not be difficult.” The brown-eyed man on the right agreed to the idea. He also could not stand the sun’s heat and wanted to take shelter as soon as possible. However, the man, Arlan, had not yet stopped riding the horse, so the other four men frowned.
“Hey, Arlan! Did you hear me?” A man behind him, on the right side, became annoyed. The short-haired man could not stand the weather and wanted to stop immediately, but the person he was talking to seemed to ignore him.
“If you guys want to rest, then do it yourself. I want to get to the last orphanage on time so I can go home quickly.”
The four men behind him became very angry when they heard these words. They could not understand the thoughts of the person they were talking to because they seemed to impose their own desires, even though their friends were tired, hot and thirsty. “You selfish bastard! You would rather die than trouble us!”
This curse annoyed the man riding the horse at the front. Without further ado, he stopped moving his horse and then looked back. “What did you say? You dare curse me to die quickly?”
“You are selfish! Don’t you see how hot it is? We all want to rest.” The man at the back answered because he could not stand the behavior of the person he was talking to, which was going too far, in his opinion.
“You guys are too lazy! We are soldiers and only carry out orders!” The gray-eyed man also did not want to lose because he thought they should work extra to achieve maximum results.
Without the five men realizing it, there was a woman with two large black dogs in the sky. She watched every move of the emperor’s men with a severe gaze. “They can’t go to the orphanage because my beloved Alexa is there.”
That immortal goddess said to her two dogs, who were always loyal to accompany her, especially when invited to travel by Goddess Magia, “Tatvatha and Tegothra, get lost in the forest for one week. I will cause heavy rain and landslides so that the five mortal males cannot leave anywhere, and I will drive them crazy. You can hurt them, but do not kill them.”
The two dogs barked once in response and, as soon as possible, ran towards the five troops who were still fighting. Goddess Magia watched her two dogs from a distance and immediately raised both hands up. “You must not curse Alexa because she is the one I chose to fulfill the Utzkah oath because those damned humans have betrayed my people!”
“You-”
The man at the front was just about to draw his sword from its sheath, unable to finish his words because he had already fallen off his horse. The four other men were shocked to see this incident because they saw a prominent black figure that was not clear.
“What is that?” asked a man at the back. He was scared because he did not know what to do.
Meanwhile, another figure crashed into the man riding next to Barra. Because of seeing that weird view, his friends were frightened. Even the horse they were riding became agitated and thrashed, causing the mortal male to fall to the ground hard.
“Hey!” Barra shouted for his horse, leaving him with four other horses.
“Ugh… what happened to our horses?” said a young man behind Barra. The five of them were in pain because they had been thrown from their horses for no apparent reason, apart from the appearance of a black figure that hit one of their co-workers.
“I did not know exactly, but I saw a black shadow and….”
Before the man had time to finish his words, two black dogs appeared with bright red eyes. They were so big that their height surpassed the five mortal guys. The two strange dogs growled, even preparing to pounce on them, which made everyone there very afraid.
“Run!” shouted Barra in the middle of the silent forest.
The four soldiers there tried to run, but they helped each other’s friends, except for the man who had been in front, named Arlan. Barra and his friends left the arrogant young man alone because they had had a big fight earlier. Meanwhile, a terrifying giant dog chased the four frightened soldiers, and the other dog stared at Arlan fiercely as if the arrogant man was about to die.
The twenty-seven-year-old young man was in pain, but Arlan could not do anything because he felt that death was near. The time seemed to stop turning for the man because the monster dog was getting closer and closer, while the mortal guy remained silent because his whole body was stiff as if a strong magic had hit him.
Why did this strange animal appear? In fact, before going here, the seniors had never mentioned any sightings of strange creatures, let alone ghosts. Could it be that they are lying? Thought Arlan, confused. He was trying hard not to cry while trying to move his body, which still felt stiff.
Now, the scary black dog was standing in front of Arlan. That guy was terrified but remained in the same place, and only hoped for a miracle. Meanwhile, the figure of an immortal goddess still standing floating in the sky saw the five emperor’s envoys split into two parts, and they were being handled by her two black dogs, which were huge, already giants. Goddess Magia grinned because what happened there seemed funny to her.
“I will not allow anyone to hurt Alexa. Whoever dares to do that they must be ready to die!” Goddess Magia pointed her palms downwards, precisely at the area where five of the emperor’s envoys were. The sound of thunder boomed, which caused them difficulties, and heavy rain wet the Earth as soon as possible.
“Barra, Chad. Where are we going?” shouted one of the men who was still supporting his colleague who had fallen from his horse.
“Find a place that is shady and protected from the giant dog! We can’t stay here too long because that strange creature is still after us!” Barra changed his position from carrying his friend; now she put Chad’s body on her back, a. k . a. he was holding her colleague.
“Davan! Come on, go quickly! We will die if we stay here too long!” Barra reminded his friend that he was still exhausted, especially since the heavy rain was becoming increasingly intense, and it was as if an immortal god was pouring all the water onto the Earth without getting tired.
“You go first, Barra. I want to try carrying Eghan.” The thin man tried to imitate the actions of the person he was talking to, even though he had to struggle because the situation was not supportive.
“Come on, Davan! I can’t-”
Barra could not finish his words because the figure of the giant black dog was already standing not far from them. The two young men who were still healthy were stunned, and they hurriedly left there, even though it had to be a struggle. The Queen of Witches’ dog did not bark, but immediately chased the four humans who had become his targets.
Meanwhile, Arlan heard a heart-wrenching scream. The vicious dog bit his right hand. It broke that mortal male’s hands, which made him even more helpless. A young guy, who had a height of one hundred and eighty-seven centimeters, could not hide his pain, especially since no one came to help him.
Goddess Magia held back her laughter when she saw the five humans scattered; one person was seriously injured. “I want to see how much influence Asiles has on his devotee. I won’t let him win. Not anymore.”
The immortal goddess pointed her hand at Barra, who split the ground he was standing on as soon as possible so that the young man almost went into it. Luckily, he was holding on to the edge of the ground so he did not fall into it. “Davan! Help me!”
The owner of the name was anxious because he wanted to help Barra, but on the other hand, he was still carrying Eghan, so he had to choose one of them. Davan was very anxious because he did not know what to do, while the young man could not possibly let his colleague.
“You must help them, Davan. Do not be silent.” Eghan’s voice sounded weak in the young man’s ears.
“I can’t possibly leave you alone, Eghan. What if the giant dog comes here and hurts you?” Davan refused because he was worried about his friend’s condition; he was still sick.
“Put me down. You have to save Barra and Chad. I am okay.” The thirty-year-old man tried to reassure his interlocutor because he did not want his two friends to fall and could be killed instantly.
“Just do it!” Ergha forced his friend so that the man was forced to comply with the request, even though he was very reluctant to take such action. Davan looked back and did not see any signs of the giant dog appearing, so the young man assumed that things were safe there.
Barra could not hold on anymore because he was still carrying his friend who was hanging on his shoulders. “Davan! Hurry up!” he said, who could soon fall into the hole.
The brave guy immediately approached the person he was talking to, and then he tried to grab Barra’s hands so that the two colleagues could be lifted without further ado so that they were both safe. Meanwhile, the figure of a giant black dog looked at the four emperor’s envoy soldiers and lunged at Eghan, who was lying on the ground, and no one was guarding him at all.
“Help me!”
