Chapter 57. Magia, Do Not be Like That

Book:Alexa The Dark Witch Published:2024-8-20

In the realm of gods and goddesses,
“Magia. Why are you torturing your messenger?” The question made the goddess who was passing by the area become stunned. She did not want to respond; she still felt strange about such a warning. Meanwhile, an immortal god stood not far from where the Queen of Witches stood. The atmosphere between them was silent again as that immortal goddess remained silent.
“Your silence is never the solution.” That burly immortal god said again, so the opposite sex could not help but look back. A tall man was already there and had been watching Goddess Magia’s movements with a very serious look. However, the Goddess of Witchcraft acted normally, as if not intimidated.
“What is your business?” That was Goddess Magia’s only response. The woman with three bodies faces, and three pairs of hands and feet kept a relaxed expression as if there was no problem between them. The red-haired goddess seemed to raise one eyebrow, but she had yet to say any words. Tension began to rise between them, though it was all without any cursing.
“Alexa fainted in the dream. Before that, she asked for my help. I could not possibly let her die there.” The man, who had a height of one hundred and ninety-eight centimeters, announced what had happened, but Goddess Magia’s expression remained the same, which annoyed the immortal god.
“I let my messenger experience all that, so she would realize something.”
The Mother of Witches’ answer left the man wide-eyed. The Brazakh Goddess did not seem to believe the words she had just heard. Meanwhile, that immortal goddess who was the enemy of Goddess Asiles began to smile, more precisely grinning, so that the interlocutor could only shake his head because he had begun to be confused by Goddess Magia’s way of thinking, which was difficult for him to understand.
“You must know that what happens in a human’s dream world is closely related to their body in the real world. Did you forget about that, or are you deliberately testing your messenger skills?”
“Since when are you taking care of my messenger?” asked Goddess Magia sharply. The goddess, whom the mortals in Zlatav feared, did not seem to expect that the immortal god would interfere even more with what she had done to Alexa.
“I helped her from the moment she mentioned my name. When you get tired of her, I will handle her.” The god’s words left the Crossroads Lady wide-eyed.
“You have no right to do that to Alexa!” Goddess Magia’s intonation rose. However, the opposite sex did not seem to care. Now, Goddess Brazakh was smirking, which upset the immortal goddess and was on the verge of unleashing her wrath on her.
“Why not? You deliberately trapped your messenger in dreamland because she honestly prayed that she had many friends and asked to meet her mom and dad. What kind of immortal goddess are you to destroy your creature’s happiness? How pity you are.” Lord Brazakh deliberately satirized that immortal goddess openly because he could not stand the attitude of the goddess who was worshipped by the witches hiding in the forbidden forest.
“You-”
Before the goddess could finish speaking, the long-haired man had already cut her off. “Yeah, me! I helped Alexa so that poor girl did not die! Don’t you think, if you have taken away everything, that she is always traumatized? Why did you extinguish her joy when she felt it? I do not care if you get angry or threaten to kill me. One thing for sure is that whenever you act unfairly, I will help her unexpectedly and do not need your explanation!”
The atmosphere between them became quiet and tense at the same time. The two immortals felt righteous and did not want to give in. “Starting today, anytime you go too far with Alexa, even if she is your messenger, then I will automatically help that girl. Do not lecture me what is right and what is wrong because I am the God of Brazakh, the God of Truth.”
Before Goddess Magia could open her mouth, the immortal god disappeared from her sight. Such a situation made the goddess very upset, and almost shouted. “Brazakh is such a jerk! If he interferes, then I can’t mentally mould Alexa, so the girl will find it hard to part with her mortal friends when she leaves the orphanage.”

Meanwhile, in Alexa’s dream world
In a house, precisely in a room, two girls with the same face were seen, but physically, what distinguished them was their height and haircut. They seemed to be watching a poor girl who was still closing her eyes, as if the first daughter of the couple, Tristian Varden Writh and Lavena Isolda Keira was fast asleep, although in reality, this was not the case.
“How is it, Ai? This strange woman had not woken up yet. She also does not have a fever at all, which should not be the case. If only she had not been so stubborn when we asked her to go inside, then surely she would not have fainted.”
“I do not know the answer, Line. How about I make that woman some chicken soup first? So, when she wakes up, there is food for her.” The girl called ‘Ai’ also gave her insight, remembering the condition of the unwanted guest who fainted and caused them a lot of trouble.
“That is a great idea, Ai. I agree with you. You should make more soup if possible so that we can eat together later. You know that Sam gets hungry easily, so it is better to make a lot at once.” The long-haired woman smiled as if half coaxing her interlocutor. Aileen returned the gesture with a sarcastic smile, as she seemed reluctant to carry out the request, as she only intended to make chicken soup for Alexa alone.
“You wish!” After saying that short sentence, Aileen quickly left the room, while the other person could only observe her sister’s departure until she disappeared from sight.
The bitchy-faced woman quickly turned her head towards the bed. There was still a sharp-nosed girl whom Adaline and Aileen had changed. Amidst the silence in the room, the one hundred and seventy-six centimetres tall woman stared at Alexa intently as if there was something that interested her. “It is weird. It is like that I know who this girl is, but I do not remember anything about her at all.”
Unbeknownst to Adaline, a woman appeared on the right side of the bed, but she seemed to be invisible to Adaline. The woman turned her attention to the chesnut brown-haired girl still lying on the bed. “Alexa has been properly handled by the two sisters. Tsk! Brazakh is really annoying since he has been meddling in this matter! I would be hard-pressed to make my messenger have a deep grudge against mortals. Still, it is useful to avenge and eliminate the emperor in Zlatav and the people who support him according to the ancient prophecy,” she muttered, exasperated.
A knock on the door made Adaline turn to the source of the sound, and the strange woman was still watching the granddaughter of Sir Elmer Louis Writh and Madame Phoenix Lily Katira without blinking. “Who is that?” asked Aileen’s twin sister.
“It is me,” replied a young man from behind the door.
“Come in, Sam.” The woman with the mole on her right cheek recognized the owner of the voice, so without hesitation, she said the interlocutor’s name and allowed the man to enter the room. Meanwhile, Alexa was still in the same state, and there was no sign of her coming out of her stupor.
Soon, the door to the room opened from the outside. Adaline saw two young men enter the room, which surprised the girl as she had not expected Samuel to come alone. “How is she, Line? Is she awake?” asked the red-haired man, looking at the target.
The beautiful woman also performed the same act with the opposite sex. “That girl has not regained consciousness yet. Ai has gone to the kitchen to make chicken soup so that she can eat something warm right away when she wakes up.”
The look on man with freckles on his face was worried, while the other man was silent, but could not help but observe the young lady who was still lying weakly on the bed. “Does that girl have a fever?”
Adaline shook her head, which made the two men frown, confused by the reaction they were getting. “The weird part was she did not get a fever. I checked repeatedly, but the result was the same. We could say it was a miracle.”
“I see. Is there anything strange besides that? I mean… did you and Ai find anything unusual before or while you were changing the girl’s clothes? Anything suspicious maybe?” asked Samuel curiously.
“Nothing. That was all we have experienced, and the rest is safe,” Adaline replied honestly.
“That is very strange. It could be that the girl’s immune system is strong, so she does not have a fever.” Samuel could only give his insight without being able to know what was really going on. Meanwhile, a silver-haired man noticed something strange near Alexa. Such a moment made the young man wonder and curious, although it had not been expressed verbally.
Who was that strange woman? Why did Sam and Line not notice her presence? Was it possible that they were being kept in the dark because she was about to-
