When Rosiley had calmed down, Sachin helped her to sit on the sofa.
Rosiley cried incessantly. Before she could get a hold of herself, she caught a glance of his dark pupils. They were lowered on her unnaturally as his eyelashes twitched.
“Don’t look at me, I am ugly.” As she had been sobbing for a long while, she was a little hoarse.
“Yes, you are a little ugly.” Sachin’s lips curved into a smile.
“Really?” Rosiley was anxious. She lifted her head to stare directly into his smiling gaze before realizing that he was merely joking.
A gentle smile appeared on his face as he hugged her tight. “You are not ugly at all. In my eyes, you have always been very beautiful.”
Her voice was like a gentle spring wind which made her heart flutter.
“Even if you were joking, I won’t forgive you for saying that I am ugly.” Rosiley tilted her chin up slightly with a smile on her face that could not be hidden.
Seeing her proud expression, Sachin chuckled out loud. He merely hugged her tighter and didn’t say much more.
Rosiley laid silently on his chest. Hearing the strong beating of his heart, she felt a calmness that she had never felt before.
After a long while, she opened her mouth and explained, “I didn’t push Rorey.”
“Yes, I know.”
Her low voice entered her ears from above her forehead, his tone full of confidence.
“If I had known that she was heartless enough to use her child as a tool to defeat me, I would have handed her my camera.” She seemed to be sobbing as she explained the situation.
Sachin caressed her silky hair as he replied gently, “Even if you did pass her your camera, she would still have had other plans for you.”
Sachin let go of her. Holding onto her shoulders, he stared deep into her eyes as he uttered word by word, “That child was someone that she had given up on. It wasn’t your fault.”
Hearing that, tears welled up in Rosiley’s eyes. He did understand why she was so upset.

When she had seen the blood under Rorey’s body, she had been dumbfounded and anxious. She seemed to have been watching a child slowly leaving the world.

On the flight from Qing City to Benin, she dared not close her eyes despite her fatigue for fear that she would break down due to her immense guilt.
When she saw him, she finally relaxed out of her anxious state. She cried out loudly like a helpless child, expressing her emotions freely.
Shenyao thought that she was scared and comforted her all the way until they reached their destination. However, he did not know what she was truly feeling.

Seeing that she was crying again, Sachin lifted up his hand and wiped off the tears on her face. He spoke with a helpless tone, “Why are you crying?”
His look of concern made more tears fall.
She suddenly smiled as she cried, tears amidst the smile.
“Thank you, Sachin.”

Such a swift action could only mean that Rorey had everything planned out.
“I didn’t expect to get famous again.” Rosiley mocked herself. “If the baby is gone, I will be scolded forever.”
“The kid is indeed gone.” Sachin told her the latest news.
