The Divine Dragon Sword shattered the hammer chain and continued its momentum, piercing into Drake Long’s chest like a thunderbolt.
With a piercing scream, Drake Long’s strong body exploded into countless fragments. A black light escaped into the air, swirling at the top of the barrier.
Drake Long’s soul was slain!
Killing Drake Long boosted Leo’s confidence.
“Drake Long!” Sky King’s voice thundered as his tall and robust body trembled slightly.
Heaven Phoenix and Heaven Leviathan were stunned. They never expected one of the four ancient demon generals, Drake Long, to be killed by a mere mortal, even if it was just a wisp of his soul.
“We must kill this brat!” Sky King leaped, a blood-red light trailing behind him as he lunged at Leo.
Although Sky King had no wings, his leap made him seem like he was soaring through the air.
Heaven Leviathan also leaped into the air but was much slower than Sky King in reaching Leo.
Heaven Phoenix didn’t move immediately. He chanted something, and suddenly, a pair of massive black wings unfolded from his back.
With a whistle, he flew into the sky like lightning, reaching Leo even before Sky King and Heaven Leviathan.
One of them could fly; this was going to be tricky.
Leo decided to take down Heaven Phoenix first to fully exploit his aerial advantage.
Leo lunged at Heaven Phoenix, thrusting the Divine Dragon Sword like an eagle swooping on a rabbit, fast as lightning.
The Trident Spear clashed with the Divine Dragon Sword. Heaven Phoenix’s soul strength was only a fraction of what it was in life and couldn’t withstand Leo’s powerful strike. With a grunt, he was sent flying backward.
Leo seized the opportunity and pursued Heaven Phoenix relentlessly, stabbing rapidly with the Divine Dragon Sword.
Unable to defend himself, Heaven Phoenix’s body was pierced multiple times. With a final scream, he turned into a wisp of gray smoke that joined Drake Long’s black smoke in the air above the barrier.
Seeing Heaven Phoenix fall, Sky King roared, “Heaven Phoenix!”
Heaven Leviathan was also stunned and momentarily felt a twinge of fear.
A mortal had killed two demon generals in quick succession; it was beyond comprehension.
Sky King, though headless, let out a long howl. His entire body swelled as if filled with blood.
Leo was startled and swooped towards Sky King like an eagle.
In the blink of an eye, Sky King doubled in size, his giant axe growing proportionally. He looked like a small mountain.
Seeing Leo charging like a fiery meteor, Sky King swung his axe down with all his might.
The axe strike seemed to change the very color of the sky and earth.
A blood-red curtain of light, filled with terrifying momentum, descended like an apocalyptic storm. Thunder roared, lightning flashed, and a chilling wind howled as if the god of thunder was in a fit of rage!
Leo didn’t dare be careless. He gripped the Divine Dragon Sword with both hands, merging with the sword through sheer force and inertia as he charged downwards.
The giant axe and Divine Dragon Sword collided, sending sparks flying and shaking the ground. The entire barrier trembled as if it might collapse.
Sky King staggered back seven steps, his upper armor shattered into pieces, and cracks appeared on his skin.
Leo crashed into the barrier wall like a broken kite and spat out a mouthful of blood.
Heaven Leviathan silently glided over, his sharp Trident Water Piercer gleaming like the scythe of death.
Leo’s senses immediately detected the approaching danger. Ignoring the pain in his chest, he mustered his strength and leaped several meters into the air.
The sharp Trident Water Piercer struck the barrier wall, creating a dazzling burst of light.
Leo forcefully circulated his spiritual energy. Despite feeling dizzy and seeing stars, he took two deep breaths and roared as he thrust the Divine Dragon Sword at Heaven Leviathan with lightning speed.
The sword pierced Heaven Leviathan’s body solidly.
With a scream, Heaven Leviathan exploded into pieces. A green smoke rose into the air, joining Drake Long’s black smoke and Heaven Phoenix’s gray smoke in swirling together.
Three of the four demon generals had now been slain by Leo.
Sky King stood still for a few seconds before erupting with murderous intent.
Sky King’s massive body moved forward with his enormous battle axe like a heavy tank.
As Sky King swung his giant axe down again, Leo leaped several meters into the air once more.
Sky King’s axe struck the barrier with a teeth-rattling tremor.
Leo drew an elegant arc in the air and descended like lightning, aiming his sword at Sky King’s back.
Despite having no head, Sky King’s senses were terrifyingly sharp. Realizing something was wrong after missing his strike, he quickly turned around.
Just as he turned, a thunderous roar accompanied by a rainbow-like streak came crashing down from above.
Sky King, experienced in countless battles, remained unafraid despite the dire situation. He gripped his axe with both hands and swung heavily upward.
At the point where axe met sword, an explosion of blood-red light and powerful shockwaves erupted.
Sky King let out a muffled grunt as he was swept by the shockwave and slammed into the barrier wall. His remaining armor shattered into powder.
Leo wasn’t faring much better. The force from Sky King’s axe sent him crashing into the barrier like a meteor before he fell heavily to the ground in an awkward position.
Before Leo could recover, another roar echoed through the air.
The roar terrified Leo to his core. After continuous fierce battles, his spiritual energy and physical strength were nearly depleted.
Sky King seemed like an unfeeling machine that never tired.
Sky King slowly approached Leo with his battle axe raised high.
When Sky King reached Leo, Leo still couldn’t stand up.
“Pathetic mortal, I win after all. Prepare to die!”
Sky King gathered all his strength and swung his giant axe down. The sound of it cutting through the air was accompanied by a burst of blood-red light.
If this axe landed solidly, Leo would be reduced to pulp!
Just as the battle axe was about to hit him, Leo rolled to his right side abruptly.
The axe struck the ground with a thunderous crash, causing it to tremble violently and forcing Sky King back three steps from the recoil.
By the time Sky King steadied himself, Leo had disappeared from in front of him.
Sky King turned around to see Leo kneeling not far away, supporting himself with the Divine Dragon Sword and eyes gleaming with defiance.
Sky King paused for a moment before advancing towards Leo again with his giant axe.
Leo slowly stood up and looked at Sky King defiantly. “Sky King, I’ll send you to join your companions!”
Leo held the Divine Dragon Sword in his right hand and summoned Nine Abyss Suppresses Evil Peak with his left hand.
A black mist spread out instantly.
Man and sword became one!
Leo seemed to merge entirely with the Divine Dragon Sword, transforming into a red rainbow that shot towards Sky King like an unstoppable force.
Sky King’s belly let out a roar as he channeled his last bit of divine power into his giant axe for one final strike.
This was their last clash-a decisive moment for victory or death.
