However, another thick energy beam shot from the Star Ball towards the Big Dipper Formation.
It was like lightning descending from the sky, entering a lightning rod. The immense Power of the Nine Heavens Stars surged into the Big Dipper Formation.
Through the spiritual energy connected to the Big Dipper Formation, Leo clearly sensed a vast and continuous force beginning to flow into the boundless universe.
It seemed there was a turning point!
Leo couldn’t help but feel excited.
From deep within the magma, an extremely angry roar echoed.
“Who dares to hinder my rebirth!?” An ancient voice resounded through the cave.
Chiyou had spoken!
Leo was startled.
Though shocked, Leo didn’t panic. He intensified the spiritual energy infusion into the Big Dipper Formation.
Immediately, the star power shooting towards the Big Dipper Formation became denser, while the energy shooting towards the volcano’s mouth grew thinner, eventually reducing to mere wisps.
“No!” From deep underground, Chiyou’s furious roar echoed.
Magma splashed everywhere, and a massive sound mixed with killing intent, resentment, and anger reverberated in the cave, making Leo’s ears buzz.
“No one can stop my resurrection! Come forth, Four Great Demon Generals!”
With Chiyou’s angry roar, four blazing red spheres emerged from the depths of the magma.
“What now?” Leo stared at the floating spheres in confusion.
As soon as the four bright spheres hit the ground, they exploded with a bang.
At the edge of the volcano, four fierce-looking warriors in ancient armor appeared mysteriously.
No, these Four Great Demon Generals had died long ago; they shouldn’t be here.
A quick scan with his spiritual sense made Leo understand.
The Four Great Demon Generals before him were merely remnants of their souls, likely not very powerful in combat.
The souls of the Four Great Demon Generals had solidified into physical forms and were approaching Leo with heavy steps.
The energy from the Star Ball had completely dissipated. Leo retracted his spiritual energy and gripped his Divine Dragon Sword, ready for battle.
The first demon general on the left was burly and headless, clad in golden bronze armor. He held a bronze shield in his left hand and a blood-red giant axe of unknown material in his right, exuding a murderous aura and majestic presence.
This demon general was Sky King!
The second demon general on the left was stout and muscular, with a face as black as charcoal, resembling a dark deity. He also wore golden armor, but his bronze helmet was adorned with a roaring black dragon. His weapon was a peculiar Meteor Hammer.
This demon general was Drake Long!
The first demon general on the right was tall but thin, with an ugly gray horse face that was part human and part ghost. His armor was also golden bronze, and his helmet featured a soaring roc bird. His weapon was a pitch-black Trident Spear.
This demon general was Heaven Phoenix!
The second demon general on the right had a medium build, tall and slender, with greenish skin and eyes covered in scales. He looked terrifying, with a helmet adorned with a writhing fish. His weapon was an unusual Trident Water Piercer.
This demon general was Heaven Leviathan!
Led by Sky King, the Four Great Demon Generals surrounded Leo.
Sky King waved his hand, and the other three demon generals raised their weapons simultaneously.
A formidable and fierce aura emanated from them, creating an atmosphere of howling winds and torrential rain, making it hard to distinguish day from night.
Sky King’s giant axe shot out a golden beam towards the sky. As it reached the dome, it spread out and formed a barrier around them.
Sky King wanted to ensure that their intense battle wouldn’t severely damage the cave and disrupt the Nine Heavens Star River Formation, so they had to fight within this barrier.
Leo’s eyes burned with intensity as he channeled his spiritual energy to its peak, releasing a violent pressure.
Sensing Leo’s imposing aura, Sky King raised his giant axe and roared, “Kill!”
The massive battle axe flashed coldly as a thunderous wave of blood-red energy surged towards Leo.
As Sky King attacked, the other three demon generals moved as well.
Drake Long’s Meteor Hammer traced a brilliant arc through the air before crashing towards Leo like a meteor amidst thunderous roars.
Heaven Phoenix’s horse face twisted menacingly as he swung his Trident Spear, unleashing a black wave of energy that swept towards Leo like an overwhelming tide. In the wave’s midst, Leo seemed to see two enormous wings driving it forward powerfully.
Heaven Leviathan let out a long howl as he raised his snow-white Trident Water Piercer. White streaks obscured the sun as if massive waves were rolling in. Amidst these terrifying waves were glints of danger-sharp edges of the Trident Water Piercer brimming with killing intent.
Seeing the Four Great Demon Generals attacking with full force, Leo roared and cast two offensive talismans-one of spirit fire and one of lightning-one targeting Sky King and the other Drake Long. Sky King and Drake Long were the strongest among them!
As he cast the talismans, Leo swung his Divine Dragon Sword twice, creating two rapidly spinning flames aimed at Heaven Phoenix and Heaven Leviathan.
Leo knew well the strength of these demon generals and thus unleashed his most powerful attacks from the start.
The clash ensued.
Eight torrents of energy collided wildly, unleashing immense power. The light was blinding like hundreds of suns exploding simultaneously. The shockwave resembled a nuclear blast sweeping across the barrier.
For a moment, thunder rolled within the barrier; mountains shook; nothing could be seen but an overwhelming sense of death.
Foreseeing trouble, Leo had already cast a defensive talisman right after his attack. The powerful shockwave hit fiercely; his protective shield trembled violently and emitted countless sparks instantly.
The shockwave was too strong. Seeing cracks appear on his shield, Leo knew things were dire.
In just three seconds, with a thunderous crash, his shield shattered instantly. The shockwave surged towards Leo like an unstoppable flood.
