The deaths of the members of the Five Poison Sect and Ghost Path Church gave Master Amirah a new understanding of Leo’s strength.
Sensing danger, Master Amirah shouted, “Elders, quickly perform the final ritual, Starlight Convergence!”
An elder responded loudly, “Master Amirah, the timing is slightly off, and we are gravely injured. We might not be able to channel the Power of the Nine Heavens Stars properly.”
“No time left, success or failure, leave it to fate. Let’s do it!” Master Amirah roared, raising the Black Banner and shouting, “Starlight Convergence!”
Instantly, the Black Banner emitted a blinding blood-red light, which then split into beams that shot towards the small blood flags in the ground cave.
The blood flags immediately activated, sending ninety-eight beams of blood-red light towards the Star Ball in the sky.
Receiving these beams, the Star Ball began to tremble violently as if receiving some signal.
With a loud bang, the Star Ball shot a massive energy beam into the volcano’s crater, piercing into the boiling magma below.
At this point, Leo had to use his ultimate skill!
He extended his right hand, summoning the Divine Dragon Sword.
Infusing it with spiritual energy and enhancing it with Talismans, the Divine Dragon Sword ignited into a blazing fire sword.
With a powerful swing of his right hand, the Divine Dragon Sword slashed out an arc of fiery red light, like a giant flaming wheel striking forward.
The fiery red light instantly struck the golden protective barrier of the Nine Heavens Star River Formation.
The golden light trembled violently for about a second before exploding and disappearing without a trace.
The powerful shockwave from the explosion swept through the formation, causing Master Amirah and the six elders to scream in agony as they were hit in the chest like by a giant hammer, spewing blood and being thrown backward.
As soon as they hit the ground, the seven struggled to get up again.
However, severely injured as they were, they could barely stand.
Just as Leo was about to deal with these seven individuals, a deep rumbling roar echoed from the volcano’s crater, as if coming from the depths of the earth.
The roar sounded like a beast trapped for millennia, filled with furious anger and terrifying majesty, causing even the ground to shake violently.
Chiyou!
Chiyou was beginning to revive!
Leo’s face changed dramatically. He glanced at the seven half-dead Curse Sorcery Cult members in front of him and then at the children lying nearby. He gritted his teeth and made a decision.
Gripping his sword with both hands, he channeled all his spiritual energy into it and slashed fiercely at the Star Ball that was continuously injecting energy into the volcano’s crater.
The massive pillar of fiery red light struck the Star Ball, but instead of exploding as expected, it was entirely absorbed by the Star Ball.
Leo’s eyes widened in shock and disbelief.
Master Amirah laughed triumphantly, “Poor fool. Once the Nine Heavens Star River Formation is successfully activated, it cannot be stopped.”
“Any energy attack will be absorbed and converted into its own energy. Even if you kill us, our great ancestor Chiyou will still revive!”
“Too bad you won’t live to see your ancestor. Die now!”
The Divine Dragon Sword swept through the air, scattering seven beams of fiery red light filled with murderous intent.
The seven defenseless individuals were instantly engulfed by flames.
Instead of screaming in pain, they chanted strange Sorcery Language with serene expressions as if completing some great mission until they turned to ashes.
The power of faith was indeed terrifying.
The roaring from the volcano’s crater grew clearer. The sound carried an awe-inspiring magical force that made Leo’s heart tremble violently.
Regardless, saving the children was more urgent now. Retrieving his Divine Dragon Sword, Leo rushed towards the children lying on the ground.
Picking up two at a time, he injected a little spiritual energy into each child to seal their bleeding wounds and maintain their life force before placing them in a cave on the side of the rock wall.
Leo moved quickly and within seven or eight minutes had placed all the children in the cave.
At that moment, some information automatically appeared in Leo’s mind.
Leo paused and then turned his gaze back to the Nine Heavens Star River Formation.
The Nine Heavens Star River Formation was based on the Big Dipper Formation; to break this formation, one must first suppress the Big Dipper!
Understanding dawned on Leo. He leaped forward and injected spiritual energy into the first blood flag.
The Star of Strength was sealed!
He continued to channel spiritual energy into the second blood flag. The second blood flag trembled slightly but allowed spiritual energy to pass through smoothly.

Leo was overjoyed. His powerful spiritual energy quickly surged towards the third blood flag. Soon, the third blood flag also passed through.

Moving forward, spiritual energy approached the fourth blood flag.
The fourth blood flag trembled slightly, initially resisting spiritual energy entry.

Leo formed a hand seal with his left hand and chanted a secret mantra. The first word “Approach” from the nine-character incantation struck out.
Spiritual energy smoothly passed through the sixth blood flag.
Only one blood flag remained!
To Leo’s surprise, spiritual energy easily passed through the seventh blood flag.
The Star of Tolerance was sealed!
As spiritual energy flowed from the first to the seventh blood flag, the Big Dipper Formation suddenly trembled. The seven blood flags emitted faint rays of light.
Leo’s spiritual energy circulated rapidly within him as he exerted all his strength to reverse the Big Dipper Formation’s operation.
The Big Dipper Formation vibrated more intensely, its light growing brighter. Suddenly, with a loud bang, the massive Star Ball in mid-air began to tremble violently and emit erratic arcs of light as if about to disperse.
The Star Ball continued to emit loud noises as its powerful energy beam supplying the volcano’s crater rapidly thinned out.
Just as Leo was rejoicing, an extremely angry roar erupted from deep within the lava in the volcano’s crater.
The roar sounded like thunderbolts shaking heaven and earth. The shockwaves caused by it sent chills down Leo’s spine as a terrifying killing intent burst forth from within the crater.
Chiyou was enraged!
Immediately afterward, a powerful beam of blood-red light shot out from deep within the lava and illuminated the massive Star Ball above.
Bathed in this blood-red light, the dispersing Star Ball halted its disintegration and quickly reassembled. The energy beam shooting into the volcano’s crater regained its intensity and strength.
This was bad; Chiyou seemed to have regained consciousness!
