Quentin drove to the Ofrustol City airport, where Eileen and the major airport officials were already waiting to greet him.
“Mr. Holland, your flight to Cloudmere has been arranged and will depart in half an hour,” said Cody King, the airport’s chairman, bowing respectfully.
Upon hearing that the Governor of the Eastern Region was arriving, Cody had received orders from above to ensure a proper reception. Everyone was astonished, wondering about Quentin’s identity that even the airport chairman would personally welcome him.
“No need for formalities.”
“This way, Mr. Holland.”
Cody led Quentin through the airport, bypassing queues via the VIP passage, straight to the aircraft cabin entrance.
“Mr. Holland, please. Have a pleasant journey,” Cody said politely as he ushered Quentin and Eileen into first class.
The cabin was opulent and luxurious. The passengers inside were either high-ranking officials or business elites, each with a distinguished status.
Quentin and Eileen settled into a private compartment, which, though not large, was well-equipped with everything they needed. Two fruit platters were placed on the table.
“Sir, should we notify someone in the northeast to receive us?” Eileen asked.
“No need for such a fuss. Let’s just get this done quickly and quietly,” Quentin replied, eager to resolve matters without drawing too much attention.
About halfway through the flight, a woman’s scream suddenly echoed from outside their compartment.
“Are you blind? Do you have a death wish?” A young man in the corridor was shouting at a flight attendant.
The flight attendant was tall and slender, her figure particularly striking with a waist that could be easily encircled by one’s hands.
“Master Anthony, I’m terribly sorry. I didn’t mean it. I’ll clean it up right away,” she apologized profusely.
The commotion drew the attention of the passengers in the compartments. Seeing the spilled drink on the floor and the stain on the young man’s suit, it was clear that the flight attendant had accidentally spilled it on Master Anthony.
“Clean it? Can you really clean it? This suit was custom-made at a high price. You’ll have to compensate me,” Master Anthony demanded angrily.
“I’m sorry, sir. Please name your price, and I’ll compensate you,” the flight attendant pleaded in a low voice. She couldn’t afford to offend Master Anthony, a diamond member of their airline whom even the captain had to treat with utmost respect.
“Not much, just fifty thousand dollars,” Master Anthony said, holding up five fingers.
Fifty thousand? The flight attendant was panic-stricken. That was several months’ salary for her; how could she possibly afford it?
Seeing her distress, Master Anthony sneered. “Since you can’t afford it, just spend a month with me. Serve me well, and you won’t have to pay.”
His lecherous gaze roamed over her body, making her feel violated and disgusted.
“Please give me some time. I’ll find a way to gather the money,” she begged. She had only been working for a year or two and couldn’t come up with such an amount quickly. She didn’t want to submit to this scoundrel, having heard of his notorious reputation for harassing flight attendants.
“No way! Either you pay today, or you spend the night with me. I’ll take good care of you.”
Master Anthony was relentless, giving her no chance to negotiate.
“Sir, this is unreasonable. Moreover, she’s not refusing to compensate you.”
A middle-aged man from Cloudmere, a manager of a third-rate group, stepped forward.
He couldn’t stand the young man’s arrogance and bullying, and wanted to act as a mediator.
People around began to discuss and criticize Master Anthony.
“Slap!”
Master Anthony stood up and slapped him across the face, leaving everyone stunned.
“Who do you think you are? Daring to lecture me!”
“My father is the chairman of the Huang Group in Cloudmere. Get back to your own compartments and stop staring!”
Master Anthony yelled at everyone present.
People were surprised. The Huang Group was a leading listed company in Cloudmere, and ordinary people couldn’t afford to offend them.
It turned out that this unreasonable person was actually the young master of the Huang Group. People sighed in resignation and returned to their own compartments.
The middle-aged man who had just intervened also took the opportunity to leave in embarrassment.
From within the compartment, a young woman emerged, graceful and commanding.
It was Eileen.
She spoke with a cold tone, “Please watch your behavior. You are disturbing my companion.”
“Your companion? Haha, what’s he worth? Beautiful lady, what are you doing here? Do you want to join in too?”
Seeing Eileen, Master Anthony’s eyes lit up. A woman so beautiful-if he could have her, it would be quite enjoyable…
Thinking of this, Master Anthony began to grin foolishly, saliva almost dripping from his mouth.
Quentin’s voice came from inside, “Eileen, since his mouth is dirty, just enjoy yourself.”
Eileen nodded and, with her long legs, stepped forward. She slapped Master Anthony hard, causing him to scream in pain and stumble backward, falling to the ground.
Looking up, Eileen’s eyes were as cold as ice, and her expression was stern. Master Anthony felt a chill, never having seen such a terrifying gaze, as if a death god had arrived.
“Smack!!” Eileen squatted down and slapped Master Anthony’s face, her expression full of mockery and disdain.
“Disrespecting my companion and disgusting me? Do you have a death wish?”
