Veronica Parker didn’t look well. She pulled the bath towel next to her, then dried her body and put on her pajamas. She was very much aware of what went on Nick Cage’s mind when he responded to her earlier. She knew exactly what he thought happened.
The truth was Victoria Parker didn’t expect that she would almost fall asleep while taking a bath. Had she known; she wouldn’t have taken a bath at all for she knew that the sight of her lying in the tub motionless could trigger Nick Cage.
Veronica Parker thought some more about what just transpired between her and Nick Cage. Then she turned to look at him. He was standing straight, and he looked very tense.
“Tell me again how did you get in here?” Veronica Parker asked.
Nick Cage said nothing and just looked at her gloomily. He looked so full of danger that was slowly creeping in.
Veronica Parker was always instinctively alert in situations like this. She turned to leave the bathroom, but the shadow quickly flashed over her, and Nick Cage was suddenly in front of her between pitches, pinching her chin passionately.
“So tell me, what were you doing?”
“I told you that already, didn’t I? I’m taking a bath”
“Is that how you always do it?” Nick Cage asked, suppressing his fury.
“Oh, so Mr. Cage thinks that bathing is not supposed to be done the way I was doing it earlier. So tell me, how should I soak my body?” Veronica Parker asked cautiously with a steady heartbeat of trepidation.
When she finished talking, he pinched her chin a little harder.
“Did it piss you off when I took a bath in my own house?” Veronica Parker asked nervously, defending herself.
“No bathing!”
Veronica Parker was squeezed again in her chin, her lips could not be closed, in fact, it was slightly open, and Nick Cage could see the pink tip of her tongue slightly trembling inside.
This man is really overbearing and unreasonable! She thought to herself.
This was her residence. The fact of the matter was that what he did was trespassing. It was not okay to come in openly nor control her, being the homeowner that she was, on her decision to take a bath or not!
“Do I have to smash and break the bathtub? Huh?”
Veronica Parker frowned lightly and panicked, “Stop. This is where Isabella lived, so don’t go too far!”
“So what?” Nick Cage fixed his fierce eyes on her. He always had a ruthless heart.
“Piss off!” Veronica Parker waved away her controlled hand and turned to run away.
However, as soon as she escaped, he grabbed her by the waist so tight she did not even see what and how it had happened as he did it all so fast. The next thing she knew, she was already being thrown against the wall by Nick Cage’s strong force.
“Hmm!”
Before Veronica Parker could react, the shadow already made its move toward her face, and her frightened lips were now being robbed by forcible extortion!
“No. Stop it. Ugh!” Veronica Parker took a breath and frowned.
She raised her hand to beat Nick Cage on his shoulder.
But as always, her strength was as light as a feather compared to Nick Cage’s strength.
Veronica Parker could still struggle at first, but when Nick Cage started to kiss her more aggressively, the little breath and strength that she had could no longer stand him.
Nick Cage’s lips moved to her ear, the tip of his nose rubbed against her damp hair, and his voice was hoarse. “No more baths! Do you hear me?”
Veronica Parker leaned weakly against Nick Cage’s neck and touched his trembling Adam’s apple.
She gasped and said, “We will see.”
She was really afraid that Nick Cage would smash the bathtub.
This was Isabella’s residence. She wants to keep it intact. She promised herself that she will do everything in her power to make sure it stays the same way as it was when Isabella was still alive.
Veronica Parker was forced to fall into the strong arms of Nick Cage. After regaining her sanity, she realized how she was struggling a little, and asked him, “Can you let me go? I need to blow-dry my hair.”
Nick Cage’s hug was so suffocating. His arms were wrapped around her tiny waist, which at the moment, felt like they were almost broken.
Most importantly, she also found out that Nick Cage had not calmed down yet.
This scared Veronica Parker!
“Mr. Cage, my hair is wet. Let me dry them quickly, please? In the meantime, do you mind stepping out first? I…” Before Veronica Parker had finished speaking, she found herself pressed into the bathtub.
Veronica Parker rested her hands on the bathtub subconsciously. The calm water in the bathtub reflected her frightened and nervous face.
She was transparently trapped underwater, making it difficult for her to breathe.
Veronica Parker realized what Nick Cage was going to do and she remembered in fear that Nick Cage’s sturdy body had been glued to her and pinned her down.
“Don’t move.” His voice was extremely hoarse.
“Nick Cage, this is Isabella’s place. You can’t do this to me!”
“You have used that as an excuse many times.” The beast in Nick Cage’s body can no longer be suppressed.
“Nick Page!”
“I will be very gentle. I promised.”
An hour later, Veronica Parker was carried out of the bathroom by Nick Cage and they both entered the room.
Veronica Parker, who at that time thought that she was already able to put Nick Cage to sleep, broke free, pulled the quilt over her body, and looked at Nick Cage with hate and rage. “Why are you doing this to me? Why?”
“Are you telling me you don’t want to?” Nick Cage’s long arms were on his side, his trousers and shirt were still well worn, and he was oozing with a certain aura that Victoria Parker could not fathom.
“Of course, I don’t want to! I wouldn’t be this way if I did.” Veronica Parker was afraid of him and didn’t want him to be near her. “With all due respect, every time you touch me, I feel very unhappy!”
Nick Cage’s dark eyes fixed on her, squinting slightly as if he was looking at a riddle that needs to be solved.
“You treat me like I am nothing but a possession to you! Every single time! That’s how you make me feel. Always! You only need me in order to satisfy yourself. You even let me kneel when it is inconvenient! And to be honest, to me, that was such a humiliating thing that I have to do! But what choice do I have, right? Mr. Cage asked me to. C’mon, please give me a break!”
When Veronica Parker finished shouting, she felt that saying those short words had exhausted the only strength left in her body, and she, all of a sudden, ran short of breath.
The fact of the matter is that when she saw the video of Isabella, she didn’t want to have sexual intercourse with Nick Cage! She did not want to have a connection at all with the guy.
Especially physically!
But Nick Cage was Nick Cage. He will do as he pleased. And whatever he wanted has nothing to do with her at all. What happened was not because of her and how she looked like, it was more of what he was and what he wanted.
At that moment, Victoria Parker convinced her mind about what she intended to do. And she vowed to do everything. No matter what the price was. No matter what needs to be paid, she was willing!
For now, she just wanted Nick Cage to stay away from her! Allow her to concentrate on what she wanted to do!
She knew that her decision would require her to keep an eye on Tom Parker, but she was okay with that. She was okay as long as she can achieve her goal. She wanted him to regret what he had done.
Nick Cage’s black eyes looked at her deeply, sharp and impenetrable, and the air became sticky under the oppression of silence.
After Veronica Parker roared, the open courage turned into unease under the silence of Nick Cage!
The hands holding the quilt were tight.
Her eyes flashed and panicked.
She didn’t think that Nick Cage had taken over her risk index in the bathroom.
“Make you feel humiliated to kneel? Huh?” Nick Cage asked suddenly.
Veronica Parker quietly pursed her lips and did not speak to the point where her heart was beating irregularly.
Nick Cage’s hand caressed Veronica Parker’s tense face.
The unknown danger frightened her so much that she didn’t know what she was going to do, all the more what he was going to do with her.
Caught off guard, thin lips covered her, swallowed her mouth, and held her down on the bed.
For the first time, the kiss was short. Nick Cage’s purpose seemed different unlike before when all he wanted was to kiss and own her.
When Veronica Parker reacted and struggled with fear, he reached out. Victoria Parker answered Nick Cage by pushing him directly, but she still could not stop him!
The next morning, Veronica Parker was woken up by her cell phone. It was the alarm clock.
She remembered how she was carried into the room by Nick Cage last night without even closing the door. She was afraid that the ringtone was too loud and could wake up Nick Cage if he hears it.
No sooner had Veronica Parker realized that he was wrapped tightly in someone’s arm like she was some flower being cuddled.
You don’t have to look up to know who was holding her.
Of course, the arms belonged to the exclusive strength of Nick Cage.
Was Nick Cage this possessive that he would be like this even in his sleep?
Veronica Parker’s eyebrows frowned tightly, and her teeth gnawed her lips.
The thing with Nick Cage was that she still couldn’t restrain the hum in her throat every time he was around.
“Well.”
Veronica Parker’s head came out of Nick Cage’s chest. She tried to break away from Nick Cage’s bundled hug. As soon as she moved, the latter’s hands wrapped on her waist tightened so that she can’t break free.
“Were you satisfied last night? Huh?” Nick Cages just woke up and while his voice sounded lazy, it was full of sexy magnetism. Veronica Parker could not help but think about how this man was an aggressive beast.
Veronica Parker’s face changed uncomfortably. She clenched her teeth.
Everything in her body and her mind were repelling to answer his questions!
“It’s not humiliation, it’s pleasure.” The hot smell of Nick Cage spurts out.
This was the first time he did such a thing, and she should feel lucky.
“It’s not!” Veronica Parker resisted that feeling.
As soon as she finished speaking, she was pinned down by Nick Cage once again. Veronica accepted that he was such a strong force. Then, the thick belly of her fingers raised her chin and forced her to look into the black eyes he knew well.
