Daniel fell on the floor. Cathy reached out his hand to pull him up, “Daniel, come on!”
He held Cathy’s hand and climb again.
“Kids, please go down…” he pressed his lips against her before she even gets to finish her words. Her words fell back to her throat.
It was not a kiss, but it made her shake like a leaf.
It looked like he accidentally pressed his lips against her because he couldn’t bear the children’s weight any longer.
On the other hand, she thought it was not possible for him to bear the weight of those children.
She knew that the children didn’t see them, but she couldn’t bear the thought of doing indecent things in front of them.
She caressed his lips and turned her attention back to the kids, “Stop messing around. Hurry and get down”.
“This is a fun mom! We have to play like this from now on!” Peter said.
“Yes! It will be fun!” Cathy was the first to agree.
“I want to play every day, too!” Julie said.
She thought it was not a good idea. She does not want to agree.
“You guys have enough fun tonight. Get down”.
Nick Cage moved slightly. The kids went down and rolled to the ground.
Veronica Parker pushed him away. He looked cute when his face flushed.
Veronica Parker stood up and changed into pajamas.
“Let’s go to sleep mom!” Peter said to her.
“Okay, let’s go!” the children cheered and followed her.
Isabella was waiting for them at the door. Although she was close to Veronica Parker and the children, she always knew when to step in, especially around Nick Cage.
Lily looked back and said, “Aren’t you going to sleep with us, daddy?”
Veronica Parker froze when she heard it.
Daniel ran over to Lily and stood beside her, looking at their dad.
“You don’t want to sleep with us? You don’t love us anymore?” Lily started to cry.
Daniel looked sad.
Nick Cage glanced at Veronica Parker and said, “Wait a minute”.
Veronica Parker was stupefied and wanted to disagree, but she couldn’t when the children cheered.
Isabella took the children to their room. Veronica Parker did not move. Nick Cage looked at her and said, “This bed is too small. You sleep with them for now”.
“The kids would not sleep without you here. Why don’t you tell them a story?” she said.
With that, he rubbed her shoulder and left.
Veronica Parker looked back at Nick Cage’s long and majestic figure, her lips dissatisfied.
How could he talk to the child just like that? He should have put up with them!
It was already time for bed.
Eight people slept in the same bed.
In reality, the bed was not that small.
Two adults and six children could actually fit on the bed.
Peter slept together with Nick Cage and Veronica Parker for the first time, which was very unusual.
He was lying on his daddy for a moment, and then he turned onto his mommy. He kept on rolling around which was extremely cute.
That was also the first time that Nick Cage slept with all of them. His face did not show any expression at all, but what he felt inside was exactly the opposite.
If Veronica Parker slept with her children alone, she would have given milk to each one of them.
She was not in the mood that time.
She put Peter directly in the middle, separating her from Nick Cage.
She told stories to Peter. After he fell asleep, Veronica Parker closed her eyes then put her arms around Daniel, who was nearest her and smelled the smell of milk. She got herself ready to sleep.
She went to bed early to be able to wake up early. She didn’t want to have anything in common with Nick Cage.
The next morning, Veronica Parker woke up confused and subconsciously hugged the child next to her.
However, the hug did not felt soft but was a hard sense of solid.
She was half asleep and when she opened her eyes, she saw a chest of an adult.
Her face was pressed against his chest and her head was resting on his strong arms.
Why was she sleeping in Nick Cage’s arms?
She looked at the six little ones again. She didn’t know when they sleep on top of her legs and Nick Cage’s.
Daniel and Lily were curled like balls. Julie and Josh slept face to face, their heads were resting on Nick Cage’s legs.
Cathy hugged Veronica Parker’s leg.
He must have rolled out of bed again.
Veronica Parker moved slightly and sure enough, he saw Peter on the cushion under the bed.
She looked at the six small children sleeping on the bed, all of them looked very cute.
When she looked at the sleeping Nick Cage, her eyes were a little cold.
She was about to get up and get out of bed when she was shackled around her waist.
Veronica Parker tried to take Nick Cage’s hand off, but instead of letting go of her, he tightened his hold. As soon as his arm strength closed, Veronica Parker’s body was hugged back.
Veronica Parker fell into Nick Cage’s arms once again.
And then nothing happened.
Was this man sleeping or not?
Just when Veronica Parker was thinking about using brute force to break free-
“Well.” Daniel was awake.
Then Julie and Josh also woke up.
The children woke up one by one.
“Mom.” Peter rubbed his eyes and lie down on the edge of the bed. When he fully opened his eyes and saw Veronica Parker on the bed, he immediately climbed into the bed and pounced on her. “Mom!”
Peter pounced, others pounced, too.
And then they lie down on Veronica Parker and Nick Cage one by one.
“Daddy basked his ass in the sun! My ass is burning!” Peter muttered in Nick Cage’s face.
Julie also curiously scratched Nick Cage’s eyes with his short fleshy fingers.
Nick Cage’s big hand his little fingers, his eyebrows twisted, and the low pressure was already felt before his eyes were even opened.
Veronica Parker felt very uncomfortable and got off the bed. Despite the scenario on the bed, she left the room first and went to her own room to wash up.
Isabella saw her. “Are the kids awake?”
“Yes, they are. I let them play in bed for a while. I’ll wash up and go back there to get them.” Veronica Parker said.
“Good.”
On the breakfast table, the six little ones had a good appetite and were satisfied with every spoonful they took.
The plate in front of everyone was different, all sorts of cute little animals.
Just like the cuteness of the six little ones.
It’s just that Nick Cage got up with patience and looked bad.
Isabella came in, “Veronica, your phone is ringing.”
