“Yunis, what are you trying to do?”
Rosiley could not hold back anymore and shouted at him.
That’s right. The person who was blocking her was the last person she wanted to see.
“Nothing. I just wanted to invite you to tonight’s party.”
Her fuming flames made him look extremely calm and composed.
“Yunis, are you crazy? Are we so close to the extent that you’d invite me to a party?”
Rosiley looked at him full of mockery.
“This is Rorey’s first time getting such a good show.”
“So?”
“You’re her younger sister, you should be happy for her,” Jin Yunis said extremely shamelessly.
Rosiley snorted and articulated each word loud and clear. “None! Of! My! Business!”
After that, she walked past him and strode toward the hotel entrance.
“Rosiley, are you scared?”
Yunis’s voice came from behind, causing her to stop in her tracks. Then, he continued, “Are you scared that we’ll do something to you, so you don’t even dare to attend a party?”
Rosiley knew that he was trying to provoke her. The truth was just as he had said; they really wanted to do something to her. Otherwise, why would they invite her to the party?
since they wanted to play, how could there be any fun if she did not play along?
She turned around. The sparkling light streams from the hotel lights were crushed into thin beams of light in her eyes. Her lips curled upward slowly. “Yunis, it’s just a party. Do you think I’ll be scared?”
When he heard this, a glow of accomplishment colored the bottom of his eyes. They needed her to fall into the trap for the plan to be successful.
Rosiley told Sachin about attending the party.
On the other end of the line, it was silent. Rosiley bit onto her lip as she said cautiously, “Sachin, don’t worry. I will take good care of myself.”
A while later, Sachin’s voice was finally heard. “I’ll get Corey to go with you.”
He could only rest assured if there was someone with her.
“Isn’t he overseas visiting your mother?”
Mrs. Lu missed her sons a lot. Hence, Sachin kicked Corey out to live with her for a period of time to relieve her longing.
Rosiley knew that Mrs. Lu was actually missing Sachin. However, Sachin was too busy to have the time to accompany his mother.
“She is also your mother.”
Rosiley was speechless.
“Corey is coming back today. I’ll ask him to go look for you.”
If having Corey by her side could make him rest assured, then why not let him do so?
The party was actually hosted by the production company to celebrate the opening ceremony of the drama.
It was also to thank the press.
“I’m sorry, my girlfriend is over there.”
Corey had been rejecting countless women who came to hit on him.
“sister-in-law, I never knew that being handsome could be so troublesome.” Corey looked like he was complaining, but his eyes were smiling.
Rosiley glanced at him and said plainly, “Are you telling me that you’re handsome?”
“Indeed, my sister-in-law knows me the best.” Corey threw her a flirtatious look.
“Gosh!” Rosiley shuddered. Her whole body was filled with goosebumps.
It was not that she knew him well, but because he was always a surprise package.
