The sound of water in the bathroom stopped and Veronica Parker was so startled to exit the page and put the phone back.
She had to quickly get up.
But it was too late to run.
The bathroom door fell open and Nick Cage already came out. His bath towel was only wrapped around his waist, exposing the other parts of his body. His chest and abdominal muscles were sexual and wild that anyone would go crazy for.
He was stunned to see Veronica Parker’s black eyes in his bedroom.
Veronica Parker looked sideways, avoiding to meet his gaze, and said, “I’m here for something. I can’t sleep at all. I don’t feel much stomach cramps now. So, ah—”
Before she could even finish speaking, Veronica Parker was pushed to bed, making her feel dizzy.
The shadow above covered her, shrouded in density, reflected in her frightened eyes.
“Can’t sleep? Why don’t you do something? Huh?”Nick Cage asked dangerously, narrowing his black eyes.
Veronica Parker’s eyes trembled and her mouth opened nervously before making a sound, “No, I can’t. I wanted to ask you something. By the way, I don’t have much stomach cramps now. Can I leave tomorrow? ”
“Why are you in such a hurry?” Nick Cage squeezed her chin and rubbed her skin slightly using his fingers. Veronica Parker lost her head. She reached out and pushed him but her hands were pressed on top of her head by Nick Cage which made her unable to move and allowed him to take whatever he wanted.
After a long time of kissing, Veronica Parker was quickly deprived of oxygen, she was almost out of breath when he let her go.
Veronica Parker gasped for air, her face flushed and her eyes were misty. “You.”
Nick Cage rubbed his lips on her belly and said in a hoarse voice, “It’s swollen, it’s pathetic.”
Veronica Parker couldn’t say anything but caught her breath.
“You’ll sleep here today.” With that, Nick Cage got off her.
As soon as Veronica Parker’s mind was a little clear, she couldn’t believe the words she just heard. “What?” She sat up and said, “I’ll sleep here?” Why? I don’t want to!”
Nick Cage turned around, his face cold and numb. “I’m not asking for your permission, it’s an order.”
Veronica Parker tightly pursed her lips and dared not speak out her anger. Could he even be more overbearing?
She watched Nick Cage as he picked up his cell phone on the bed, she couldn’t help but feel nervous.
Fortunately, Nick Cage just put his phone on the nightstand. Luckily, she didn’t leave any clues for him to find out.
Nick Cage lay down and leaned against the pillow, his black eyes looking at Veronica Parker without anger and arrogance.
Veronica Parker hesitated. She lay down but kept a distance between her and Nick Cage.
She was so nervous that she felt like her blood was about to flow back.
Didn’t he say that he was less watchful of her?
Why would he let her sleep with him instead?

She suddenly turned back then bumped into a pair of deep and cold black eyes, Veronica Parker’s brain was buzzing for a while, and she felt blank.
Nick Cage sat up slowly, his eyes pressing and intimidating. “Who are you calling?”
Veronica Parker was slightly pale and breathing unsteadily, her white fingers clinging to the sheets and trembling.
Was she crazy? She was sleeping next to Nick Cage but called out Peter’s name.

“Just someone I know in the past.” It took a long while for Veronica Parker to answer.
“Say it!” Nick Cage shouted.
