“Aren’t we married?”
Her heart ached due to his words, thus she stared directly into the abyss of his eyes.
In there, she saw his deep love for her.
Tears welled up in her eyes as a deep rich feeling emerged from the bottom of her heart, one which filled her entire heart and her entire body.
“I love you,” she murmured. Under his astonished eyes, she kissed his lips.
She had known someone for more than 10 years and had thought that it was love. She thought that they would stay together forever. However, they still left each other in the end and became archenemies.
She knew another man for only a short period of time. However, this seemingly cold and emotionless man gave her love and concern like she had never experienced before.
She definitely loved him.
Tiana’s scheme failed once more. This time, she refused to suffer in silence.
Her body shivered in hatred when she thought of Rosiley’s arrogant expression. She squeezed the cup tightly until her knuckles turn white.
Rorey and Yunis turned to look at each other. Then, Rorey opened her mouth and asked carefully, “Cousin, did something happen?”
Hearing that, Tiana turned her head and glared harshly at Rorey.
Rorey was scared stiffly by the glare. She forced out a smile on her face as she asked again, “Is it because of Rosiley?”
“Clang!” Tiana slammed the cup on the table. Gritting her teeth, she complained, “Other than her, no one else could have made my life miserable.”
“What did she do?” Yunis asked.
“What did she do?” Tiana snorted as she changed her tone. “Yunis, as the shareholder of TEG News, do you have no power in the company?”
The sudden question confused Yunis. “Did something happen? Why did you suddenly mention this?”
“Morphy added an amendment to the hiring contract of Rosiley stating that no one has the power to fire Rosiley other than the CEO himself.”
“What?”
Rorey and Yunis looked at each other.
Tiana threw a cold glare at them while continuing, “In this case, it is no surprise that Morphy suddenly became the new CEO of TEG News, as well as the new boss of TEG News. Someone purposely bought TEG News to protect Rosiley.”
“How is that possible?” Rorey could not accept this analysis. “With Rosiley’s status, how could anyone buy the entire TEG News for her?”
Rorey said with a smirk, “You must be dreaming!”
Not only did she not believe it, but Yunis didn’t as well. “Cousin, I think that was a coincidence. Perhaps Rosiley and Morphy had some private arrangements.”
Being a narcissist since he was young made Yunis refuse to believe that a man more outstanding than himself could appear by Rosiley’s side.
Tiana looked at them and sighed. “I hope that I’m overanalyzing the situation as well. However, if someone is really protecting Rosiley behind her back, he must hold a high status.”
That was what Tiana was worried about.
After hearing that, Rorey and Yunis started worrying. Come to think of it, ever since they started dealing with Rosiley, they never succeeded and had ruined their reputation again and again.
Even if Rosiley was extremely smart, she could not have escaped every time.
“Perhaps, like what her cousin had said, someone was truly protecting her?”
No, they decided that they could not allow Rosiley to be so comfortable.
A thought flashed through Rorey’s mind. She bit her lips, opened her mouth, and said, “Cousin, I need your help.”
