Chapter 455: Quite Bold!

“Speak! Why did you do this? Otherwise, I’ll cripple your hands too!” Quentin roared in anger.
Seeing that things had been exposed, Nash had nothing left to hide.
“Heh, the only way to get rid of those two kids is to eliminate them. That way, I won’t have to take care of the two bastards you made Charlotte give birth to.”
“If it weren’t for you, a rapist, I would have had Charlotte long ago. This time, I fell into your hands, and I accept it.”
“But think carefully, Marblegate Group won’t let you off if they find out.”
“When the time comes, you’ll die a miserable death, hahaha!”
Nash’s face twisted with rage as he laughed loudly, unwilling to accept his fate.
Quentin was completely enraged by his words, a murderous intent rising within him.
“Heh, so what if Marblegate Group finds out?”
“Even if the chairman of Marblegate Group comes, they can’t save you!”
Quentin sneered coldly, his eyes icy.
“In your next life, don’t provoke people you shouldn’t.”
Quentin glanced at Captain Dawson, who nodded in understanding and then left the cell.
Quentin knew Nash’s schemes well. Luckily, he never trusted Nash and uncovered this conspiracy.
In the cell.
Captain Dawson pulled out a handgun, causing Nash and Edward to tremble in fear. Faced with death, they were terrified.
“What are you going to do?” Nash panicked.
“Don’t kill me, please don’t kill me… I have elderly parents and young children to care for. Please spare me!”
Edward’s lower body released an unknown liquid, emitting a foul smell.
“Mr. Holland asked me to send you on your way.”
Ignoring Edward’s pleas, Captain Dawson aimed the gun at Nash.
It was over for Nash. He regretted having ill intentions towards the two children and even more for angering Quentin, this demon.
His future was ruined in an instant.
Nash roared in despair, unwilling to accept that everything he had was destroyed by Quentin.
He would haunt Quentin even as a ghost!
A loud gunshot echoed in the cell. Nash was now a cold corpse, his eyes wide open in a grotesque expression, unable to rest in peace even in death.
Edward fainted from fear. Captain Dawson ordered his men to lock him up. Such a person was unworthy of the sacred profession of a doctor; prison would be his home for the rest of his life.
Afterward, Quentin returned to Janessa’s hospital room where Charlotte and others were present. Janessa was still very weak, sleeping soundly.
Apart from quickly finding matching bone marrow for surgery, there was no other way. Charlotte was filled with worry and confusion.
“What did you do to them?” Charlotte asked Quentin as he entered, puzzled.
“I sent them to prison.”
Quentin explained how Nash had bribed Edward.
Everyone was shocked and finally understood that Nash was a wolf in sheep’s clothing.
“Quentin, I’m sorry for misunderstanding you all this time.”
Thinking about how she had never trusted Quentin before and had often criticized him, Charlotte felt deep guilt and remorse.
“You never believed in me. In your heart, I’ve always been useless.”
“I’m leaving now. I’ll find a way for Janessa’s surgery. You stay here and take good care of her.”
Quentin’s tone was icy. He had long been disappointed and heartbroken by Charlotte’s actions with Nash.
“Quentin, listen to me…”
Without turning back, Quentin walked away. Charlotte’s heart ached as she watched him leave, knowing it was her fault for never believing in him.
Emma felt equally guilty about the situation between the two.
“Quentin, have you made any progress in finding matching bone marrow?” Riya caught up with Quentin and asked.
“Riya, I’ve instructed my men to search thoroughly.”
“There’s no use being anxious now; we can only wait. We’ll find it eventually.”
Quentin smiled bitterly; he could do nothing but wait.
Seeing Quentin’s weary face, Riya felt heartache. Despite being a legendary figure at the pinnacle of power in Striudan, he too worried about his child. No one could escape this concern!
“It’ll be okay; we’ll find it. Go home and rest well. Janessa will beat this illness!”
Riya comforted Quentin.
“Riya, thank you for caring so much about Janessa. You should go home too. Goodbye.”
“It’s my duty. See you next time.”
They drove off separately, with Riya feeling reluctant in her heart.
Meanwhile, in the Marblegate Group president’s office.
“President, Nash has been arrested and imprisoned in Ofrustol City,” a female secretary reported.
“Why was he imprisoned? Speak,” the woman sitting in the president’s chair asked calmly.
Her stunning face and delicate features made her seem like a snow fairy.
Under her fine eyebrows were indifferent silver eyes, with coldness deep within them.
Her straight nose and red lips exuded a faint scent of gardenias. A blood-red spider lily between her brows added a touch of allure to her icy demeanor.
“It’s because of this person.” The secretary handed over a photo.
“Quentin? Interesting. Look into him,” the female president smiled. “Daring to mess with someone from Marblegate Group takes quite some boldness.”
