“Yunis is such a dick. It is so disgusting to see him having an affair with this female celebrity during Rorey’s pregnancy.”
Xiaoxiao glanced at the closed door of that private room, disdain written all over her face.
“Do you think they saw us?” Xiaoxiao stared at Rosiley and the rest and asked curiously.
“Don’t think so.” Yayoi and Rosiley looked at each other and responded with uncertainty.
“Is… is that man a bodyguard?” Xiaoxiao asked again.
Yayoi seemed to blank out a little when that man was mentioned. However, she quickly recovered and responded, “Probably, when I was taking the photos sneakily just now, he walked to the front door of the private room. From his action of deleting the photos, he has to be either Yunis’s or Ariella Ning’s bodyguard.”
Rosiley placed the cleaned bowls and chopsticks in front of them and said, “All right, let’s not talk about them anymore. We should enjoy our time together.”
Hearing that, Xiaoxiao pursed her lips. “Who wants to discuss them? Isn’t it all because of women’s affinity to gossip?”
She sighed gently as she exclaimed, “Unfortunately, we cannot expose such an exciting piece of news.”
“Don’t worry. It will eventually be exposed one day.” Rosiley poured a cup of tea for her before she smiled thoughtfully. “No secrets can be kept forever.”
After coming out of the restaurant, Yayoi walked at an extremely slow pace and was far behind Rosiley after just a while.
“Yayoi, do you want to go shopping with us later?” Xiaoxiao turned around to ask Yayoi but discovered that she was not by their side.
Immediately, Xiaoxiao and Rosiley turned back to look for her and saw that she was walking at snail’s pace. She lamented, “Yayoi, are you a tortoise? Why are you so slow?”
Yayoi raised her head to look at them, a hint of hesitation written in her eyes.
Rosiley was sharp and noticed that something was amiss. Hence, she walked to her side and asked out of concern, “What’s wrong?”
Yayoi shook her head and smiled. “It’s all right, I just left something inside the restaurant.”
“Inside the restaurant?” Rosiley frowned. “Let’s go back and find it together.”
As she spoke, she wanted to pull her back to the restaurant.
“No need.” Yayoi let go of her hand and smiled at her. “I can go back there myself. You guys should go first, and I will catch up later.”
Before Rosiley could even react, she turned and ran back to the restaurant.
“Chu, do you think Yayoi is acting a little strange? Just now, she seemed to be extremely quiet when she was eating, as if there was something weighing on her mind.”
Xiaoxiao walked over and threw a worried glance at Yayoi, who was running back to the restaurant.
Rosiley pursed her lips as she stared at the restaurant thoughtfully.
Returning to the restaurant, Yayoi told the owner that she might have dropped something there. Then, she returned to her seat and began to search for the object.
In the process of searching, her gaze involuntarily landed on that tightly closed door to the private room.
Actually, she didn’t drop anything. It was merely an excuse for her to return to the restaurant.
She just wanted to see that man again.
However, as time passed, the door was still tightly shut.
Yayoi, who was pretending to search for her object, was losing patience. She glanced at the shopkeeper, who was walking over, and knew that she was coming to enquire about the situation since she had stayed there for a long time.
“Miss, did you find the object?” The shopkeeper asked out of concern.
Yayoi lifted her head and smiled apologetically. “Sorry for the trouble, but not yet.”
Hearing the response, the shopkeeper frowned. “How is that possible? The area is so small, and the object couldn’t have walked away!”
Yayoi felt a little guilty. She was worried that her lie would be exposed, so she pulled off her earrings discretely when the shopkeeper wasn’t looking.
Fortunately for her, she was wearing a pair of easily detachable earrings, instead of studs.
“Let me help you,” the shopkeeper said with enthusiasm.
As the owner, it was her responsibility to help her customers search for missing items.
“No need.”
The rejection was too instant, hence it evoked the suspicion of the shopkeeper.
“… I mean I can do it myself. I don’t want to make trouble for you.”
