The Sect Master’s terrifying body quickly grew beyond three meters. His head became grotesque with exposed fangs, four arms flailed wildly, and his legs transformed into beastly limbs covered in scales.
He was no longer human but a monster.
Leo’s eyes flashed as he controlled the golden chains to attack the Sect Master from above.
However, the golden chains that previously made the Sect Master wary were now ineffective.
The chains were immediately broken, and hitting him had no effect.
Since that was the case, it was time for the Divine Dragon Sword!
The appearance of the Divine Dragon Sword made the frenzied Sect Master suddenly pause, fear flashing across his ugly face.
The Sect Master began to retreat, then turned and ran.
With a wave of his right hand, Leo sent the Divine Dragon Sword streaking forward.
In the next second, the Divine Dragon Sword pierced through the Sect Master’s body.
After a piercing scream, the monstrous Sect Master fell to the ground.
Boom!
Immediately after, the Sect Master’s body exploded, sending disgusting chunks of flesh flying everywhere.
Retrieving the Divine Dragon Sword, Leo took out a Spirit Fire Talisman and reduced the corpse to ashes.
Having done all this, Leo turned and left.
The next day, after having lunch at the clinic, Leo was about to visit Spirit Moon Antiques when Madame Godwin appeared.
“Madame Godwin, what brings you here?” Leo smiled.
“There is no wind today; I’m here to inspect your clinic,” Madame Godwin joked back.
“Henry, serve some tea,” Leo called out, leading Madame Godwin into the reception room.
“What have you been busy with lately?” Leo asked with a smile.
“I just finished a mission and thought I’d drop by.”
“You don’t look well. Are you feeling unwell?”
“Sort of. Do you have any good medicine that can speed up wound healing or has excellent pain-relieving effects?”
“Are you injured?” Leo’s expression turned serious.
Madame Godwin nodded and said, “It’s already treated, but I want it to heal faster because I have another mission soon.”
“In that case… let me take a look at the wound first,” Leo nodded.
“Huh?” Madame Godwin was slightly stunned, her face turning red as she whispered, “Do you really need to see it?”
“No doctor prescribes medicine without examining the wound,” Leo said, then realized something. “Is it in a private area?”
Madame Godwin didn’t answer but lowered her head, her face turning even redder.
“If I prescribe something randomly, I can’t guarantee its effectiveness… and I don’t have a female doctor here…” Leo said awkwardly.
“Leo, isn’t there a saying that doctors see no gender, only patients?” Henry interjected while serving tea.
Recalling her previous treatment by Leo in a small inn, Madame Godwin gritted her teeth and pointed to an inner room. “Let’s go inside.”
Leo nodded and led her into a spacious inner room, then locked the door and drew the curtains.
Madame Godwin was not an ordinary woman; she acted decisively and quickly removed her coat, inner garments, and bandages.
Leo was momentarily stunned by the sight before him.
He had seen Madame Godwin’s body before, but seeing it again today made his heart race uncontrollably.
Perhaps due to long-term training, Madame Godwin had an excellent physique.
Leo quickly composed himself and became serious.
He noticed a wound above Madame Godwin’s left breast, covered with gauze stained with dark red blood-a penetrating injury.
Leo’s face showed shock as he discovered several scars on her abdomen, side ribs, and shoulders-four or five in total!
He remembered that during their last encounter in the inn, Madame Godwin had none of these scars; they must have been recent additions.
Who knows what dangers this policewoman had faced?
Ugly scars marred her otherwise perfect and smooth body, like blemishes on a fine jade piece.
“You…” Leo hesitated.
“It’s normal; I’m a detective,” Madame Godwin smiled faintly, seemingly indifferent.
But Leo could sense a hint of bitterness in her smile.
“I can heal all your wounds,” Leo said confidently. “I can restore your skin to its former smoothness.”
“Really?” Madame Godwin’s face lit up with surprise.
Though she claimed not to care about her scars, what woman doesn’t love beauty?
The scars were a psychological burden for her; she couldn’t bear to touch them while bathing.
Leo nodded with a smile and approached to remove the gauze from her wound for a closer look.
It was a gunshot wound, probably three or four days old, not affecting the bone.
Madame Godwin lowered her head, her face slightly flushed.
Though it wasn’t her first time being touched by Leo, she couldn’t help feeling embarrassed.
Leo remained composed and said after examining the wound, “Put your clothes on and wait for me.”
Leaving the inner room, Leo went to the pharmacy to select and grind several herbs before brewing them into a paste mixed with aloe vera for a cooling effect.
Returning to the inner room, Leo applied the herbal paste to Madame Godwin’s wound.
She winced slightly but soon relaxed as the paste felt cool and soothing without any pain.
“What did you put in this? It doesn’t hurt at all,” Madame Godwin asked in surprise.
“Of course, I added pain-relieving herbs,” Leo smiled mysteriously. “It’s my secret recipe; no one else knows it.”
“This medicine not only relieves pain and stops bleeding but also promotes rapid skin regeneration to remove your scars.”
Feeling Leo’s warm hands on her body made Madame Godwin blush even more.
Fortunately, it didn’t take long for Leo to finish applying the paste.
“All done. In an hour, your wound will be completely healed,” Leo said as he packed up the remaining paste.
“An hour? You’re exaggerating,” Madame Godwin said skeptically despite knowing Leo’s miraculous medical skills.
“You’ll see soon enough. Let’s have some tea in the backyard,” Leo smiled and left to wash his hands.
After dressing up, Madame Godwin followed Leo to a small pavilion in the backyard surrounded by green bamboo, rock formations, flowing water, and a small pond-quite serene.
