“Feeling better?” Flynn yawned and turned to Stephanie and Harriet with a smile.
Still in shock, they mechanically nodded with lingering astonishment in their eyes.
“If you’re feeling better then wait for me outside for a while; I have something to discuss with Freddie.”
Flynn smiled as he nodded at them.
Mr. Lawson quickly offered up a packaged necklace:
“You are friends of Mr. Clark which makes you friends of mine too. This necklace is my gift!”
“And as an apology for my son’s offense feel free to pick another piece of jewelry from our second floor!”
The crowd erupted again hearing this offer from Mr. Lawson,
K Jewelry’s second floor housed valuable jewels worth at least $10k each,
With pieces priced around $50k or more scattered throughout!
Yet Mr. Lawson let Harriet pick any piece she wanted!
“Thank you Mr. Lawson but we’ll just take this one,” Harriet said almost in unison with Stephanie who placed $18k down before dragging Harriet out of there hurriedly,
Leaving Mr. Lawson chuckling bitterly while announcing loudly: “Ladies and gentlemen K Jewelry is closed today please leave.”
Customers gradually departed until only Flynn remained inside along with Freddie,
“How’s your investigation into Dragon Blood Gem going?” Flynn asked deeply,
Last time at Niarak’s jewelry exhibition when he brought Heaven’s Punishment Ring seeking Apollo,
