As she had confirmed the woman’s identity, and as she disliked Rorey, the lady at the front desk allowed Rosiley to enter.
After catching up with Uncle Yang, Rosiley knew that many old employees who had formed the company with her father had been fired.
Uncle Yang said that Group would be destroyed if this continued.
Rosiley walked directly to the floor where the chairman’s office was situated. It was precisely how she’d imagined except for the fact that the uncles and aunties who had once called her “Rosiley” affectionately had disappeared.
“Yunis, I know nothing about corporate management. If I obtained Group, I would hand it over to you. What do you think?”
The door of the office was not closed shut and was slightly ajar. Hence, one could easily hear the conversation within.
“That’s not ideal. This is the fruit of your father’s labor, and it is not good to just give it to me.”
Hearing Yunis’s rejection, Rosiley silently scolded his hypocrisy internally.
“Yunis, nothing wrong with that. When we get married, what’s mine will be yours and vice versa. There is no need to have such a clear separation in what we have.”
Rorey was truly idiotic to give a man even her company just to gain his love.
“But…” Yunis pretended to continue rejecting her but Rorey stopped him. “Alright, it’s decided. I believe that Group will prosper in your hands.”
“Alright then.” Yunis agreed reluctantly.
What a pair of jerks!
A chill flashed across Rosiley’s eyes before she pushed open the door with force.
The hugging couple within the room immediately split apart when they heard the noise. Seeing that it was Rosiley, Rorey immediately calmed herself down and asked her, “Rosiley, what are you here for?”
When Yunis saw Rosiley, a fiery passion rose in his eyes as he discovered that she had become more glamorous recently.
The long dress made her seem slimmer. Her long hair was tied up in a braided pigtail and hanging across her shoulder. She looked gentle and elegant, pure and sweet.
Seeing that he was staring intensely at Rosiley, Rorey was annoyed and threw a dirty glance at Rosiley.
Rosiley examined the office as she slowly walked over toward the large and luxurious office table. She caressed the round, smooth tabletop and looked at the office chair with mocking eyes.
“I came to see if anyone was sitting in my father’s chair.”
She turned to look at the jerks, with her red lips curved. “After all, many people have longed to sit on that chair.”
Rorey squinted her eyes. “Rosiley, don’t tell me you want to sit on that chair?”
Rosiley raised her brows. “Of course. Anyway, this chair will be mine in the future.”
“Hahaha…” Rorey laughed out loud as she stared at Rosiley with mocking eyes. “Do you really think that this chair belongs to you?”
“It doesn’t?” Rosiley smiled even more. However, her eyes were cold with disdain. She uttered word by word, “Don’t think you can control everything and that no one will know your dirty deeds. Also, don’t think that your arrogance can last forever.”
This sentence was said to warn her to not think about obtaining. Unfortunately, the company was already in her hands.
As long as the board meeting commenced, she would easily become the new chairman of the Group.
Just thinking about the devastation of Rosiley when she heard the news of the transfer of Group’s ownership made Rorey feel extremely delighted.
“Rosiley, I anticipate the day when you can sit on that chair.” Rorey smiled slightly and explained in a slightly arrogant and provocative tone.
Rosiley hid the smile on her lips and glared at Yunis and Rorey coldly. She wished to walk forth and wipe that hypocritical and arrogant smile off of Rorey’s face.
However, her rational mind told her that she had to calm down. She could only protect the Group if she had a clear grasp of the situation.
She took a deep breath before casually holding up the photo frame on the office desk.
The family of three in the photo looked happy and blessed.
It was her father, her mother, and her younger self.
It turned out that the photo that his father had placed on the table had never changed after all these years.
