Because they drank some alcohol, Sachin called for his driver. He sat in the back seat with Rosiley.
Once he got in the car, he lay back and closed his eyes.
Seeing that, Rosiley asked out of concern, “Are you uncomfortable?”
Sachin turned his head around to face her. “No, just a little tired.”
In this period of time, not only did he have to deal with matters concerning REG, but also matters concerning the businesses of the Lu family. He was a little tired since he had to handle many matters.
He seemed to be incredibly tired. Seeing that, Rosiley turned to massage his temples out of concern.
Sachin’s clear black pupils locked on to her pretty face, full of gentleness within.
“Close your eyes for a while. I will tell you when we arrive.”
Rosiley spoke softly as she moved her fingertips slowly and gently, as if she was writing a mesmerizing Seneca that could send others to sleep.
He only displayed his vulnerability in front of her.
Slowly, a wave of fatigue hit him. Her face gradually turned blurred in his sight.
He had fallen asleep.
Rosiley asked the driver to drive slower. She stared at him intensely as she stopped the motion of her hands, caressing his face with her fingertips before landing them on his brows, massaging them.
He was as mighty as heaven’s son. But he married her.
If she did not witness Yunis’s betrayal, if she did not meet him, if she did not hear Lane’s words, if she did not have that sudden courage, perhaps…
Now, they were merely strangers.
Thinking about this, she felt a sense of fright.
As she lowered her head, love appeared in her eyes and she curved her lips upward. She was glad to have met him.
The scenery outside the car flashed across as the dark night followed the streets.

At midnight, the phone rang inside the silent bedroom.
Being a light sleeper, Sachin woke up easily from the ringtone. Looking at the girl who was deeply asleep within his arms, he left the bed gently and walked out with the ringing phone in his hands.
“Rosiley, save me!”
He picked up the phone and heard a crying woman on the other end. Sachin frowned and looked at the caller ID. It was Yayoi.
“I am not Rosiley.”
The sound of crying stopped before a frightened voice continued, “Sorry, sorry…”
Sachin frowned and asked in a low voice, “What happened?”
Sounds of sobbing came from the other end. Sachin frowned even more. If it weren’t Rosiley’s treasured friend, he would have probably been annoyed by being woken up and would have hung up the call, instead of answering so patiently.
After a while, he heard Yayoi’s voice ring out. “sir Lu, please help me…”

Morphy yawned. His eyelids were almost touching each other. However, the policeman opposite him was still mumbling on.
He really wanted to shout at the sky. Why was he here to help his cousin in the police station when he should have been sleeping?
Half an hour ago, he was woken up by his ring tone during his dreams. He wanted to scold the person but he swallowed the vulgarities when he saw the caller ID.
“Help me get someone out of the police station.”
Being deep in sleep, he initially wanted to reject the person. However, he didn’t dare do that, and that was why he was sitting there bitterly, listening to the long story of the policeman.
Even though he was extremely sleepy, he understood what had happened.
Yayoi, a good friend of his cousin-in-law, deliberately hurt someone. The person was sent to the hospital while Yayoi was sent to the police station.
According to the family members of the injured, they did not want to forgive Yayoi. They were hellbent on sending her to prison regardless of how much they could receive in compensation.
“Mr. Shen, we can’t do anything. Miss Song did hurt the person, and we have to follow the law.”
