“I will watch my tongue today, but what will you do when the world says the same?” Sanya spoke, tilting her head to her right side.
“What do you mean by that?” This got Azar’s attention.
“First, let me tell you, Ara does not love you. Forget love. I doubt she even likes you a bit.” Sanya put more venom in Azar’s ear.
Azar was looking at her, trying to understand her words.
Sanya spoke again, looking at Azar. He knew how he has trust issue to her mother.
“She was always in love with Sebastian Devis from her childhood. She never said this to anyone because that guy was not from a royal family. And my parents would be ok with anything but will not sacrifice any royal rules.” She finishes and looks at Azar’s change in demeanour.
“That’s all you think, and this is all your own made-up stories. I am not at all interested in them,” says Azar, who takes the turn to leave but stops hearing Sanya’s voice.
Looking at Azar’s blind trust in Ara made Sanya more furious.
“If you think I am lying, then why don’t you find out where she is right now and with whom she is, or, to be precise, what she is doing?” Sanya spoke in anger, looking at the bond they had made for each other.
Hearing this, Azar’s whole body felt as if someone had thrown a bucket of ice on him. His nightmare has become true. It was the first time he trusted a girl, but she also broke his trust.
But his heart was not ready to accept that.
He looks back at Sanya and says, “I don’t need to, because I trust my wife.” Azar did not want to show his fear to Sanya, nor did he want to show he did not trust his wife.
“Then what is this?” Sanya said, showing her phone, which had a picture of Sebastian kissing her.
Sanya wanted to use the trust issue with Azar in the best way possible.
Azar takes a few steps towards Sanya, snatch the phone from her hand, and looks at the pictures. There were three pictures where Sebastian was holding Ara. Second, he was kissing her lips, and third, he was hugging her.
Sanya smirks while looking at Azar’s pale face.
Azar’s whole body shivered to look at those pictures, and he started sweating profusely.
He was shaking his head while looking at those pictures. His heart was not ready to accept what he was seeing.
Sanya had made sure the person clicked the picture from all angles, and when Sebastian was keeping the strands of Ara’s hair back, he tilted his head to admire her beauty, and at the same time, this picture was taken.
“What will you say now?” Sanya asks, looking at Azar sympathetically.
Azar avoided Sanya. He does not want to show his anger to her.
“Azar, I know what you are feeling right now. I warned you indirectly before, but you thought otherwise of me. But trust me, my intentions were not bad. I wanted to save you from getting hurt. But after trying everything, I finally ended up seeing you hurt. You do not know how painful it is for me to see you like this.” Sanya tries to use this opportunity as much as possible. She came too close to Azar as she touches his chest while keeping fake concern on her face.
“First of all, I don’t need your sympathy, so better keep it yourself, and second, I still don’t trust you. And last but not least, it is Sire for you, not Azar, so you better remember next time.” He left the room and went to his study.
Azar opened the drawer of his study, took out a pack of cigarettes, and lit the cigarette with a lighter. Looking outside the window, he takes a deep puff, thinking of whom to believe. His heart was not ready to agree with what Sanya said, and his mind was warning him that all women are bitches. The only solution he had was to clear up his dilemma.
He picked up the phone and called his assistant. “Cancel all my meetings. I am leaving for Paris right now.”
“But sire, you have a very important meeting with Mr. Shah. It has been due for a long time, and I would say we should not delay any more.” Her voice came out meek, as she knew she was not in a position to give him any advice. Still, she knows how much effort she invested in setting up this meeting.
“Well, I guess I did not ask any advice here, so better do as I said,” he says, hanging up before the assistant can reply to anything.
Azar again calls, “James, get the jet ready for Paris. We will leave in a few hours and make sure no one knows about this. No one means no one. Did you get that?”
“Yes Sire,” he said instantly. James is a very trusted and old staff member. James knows everything about Azar and understands all his moods.
“Make sure my stuff is ready too,” Azar said again.
“Yes, everything will be ready. I will let you know once the jet is ready,” James said.
Azar hangs up without replying.
Azar reached Paris on the last day of the show and went directly to the party. His eyes were looking for a particular someone, but he could not find her. Finally, his eyes landed on two figures: one was Ara, and the other was Sebastian.
They were both in their world, smiling, forgetting the people around them.
Azar was looking at them with his scrutinized eyes, and his blood was boiling minute by minute, looking at their smiley faces and their gestures.
His last straw was when they hugged each other, and Sebastian kissed her.
Looking at this, Azar smiles. ‘I only asked one thing from you, Ara; you never broke my trust, and today you did that.’
You have seen only one side, and it will be fun to show you the other side as well. He said, tilting his head and looking still at two lovebirds.
