Chapter 160: Trust Me

Dave clenched his fists. He couldn’t wait any longer.
Bianca, unaware of Dave’s thoughts, thought he was upset about being teased. She held his head gently in her arms, feeling his uneven, helpless breaths against her chest.
“I’ll keep you safe,” Bianca said, her voice gentle and reassuring. “I’m not just saying this to comfort you. It’s a promise.”
Dave held her tightly, burying his head in her embrace.
Bianca sensed Dave’s doubt but continued earnestly, “Trust me. I’m not afraid to defend myself. If Stacey and Sheila try anything, I’ll stand up to them. And if anyone messes with you, they’ll regret it. I’m here to protect you, so don’t worry.”
Dave hugged Bianca tightly, feeling her slender back against him.
This day will never be forgotten. Bianca had just faced danger, got hurt, and now lay in bed. But she bravely promised to keep him safe.
Her promise made him feel warm inside, like ice melting in the spring sun.
“Okay.”
He lifted his head from her hug, leaned in, and kissed her deeply on her soft, pink lips. He held her tighter, wanting to be close to her as much as possible.
The kiss made Bianca feel a little dizzy. Without thinking, she wrapped her legs around Dave’s. His large hand held her neck gently so she couldn’t move away. Then, boldly, she rolled over, sitting on him.
It was a very close and personal position. Her face turned red with heat. She pushed his shoulder and put her hands on either side of his head, looking down at his handsome face with a soft smile.
Bianca felt like her whole body was on fire because of the strong desire that comes with loving someone.
“You’re not going anywhere today,” Bianca said with a smile, her pink lips curled, her eyes sparkling in the dim light.
Dave grabbed her hips, quickly turned them over, and held her under him. His weight pressed against her, and he teasingly bit her earlobe. In a deep, sexy voice, he whispered, “You’re brave, thinking you can be on top. Not a chance.”
As Dave said, his hand slipped under Bianca’s clothes, making her shiver slightly.
“We’ve done this before. Why are you still so sensitive?” he teased, noticing her flushed face.
“Last time… I barely remember it,” Bianca admitted, turning her head, cheeks warming with shyness.
Back then, she had been drugged, her thoughts confused. Her responses to him had been more instinctive than intentional, and she hadn’t fully felt everything.
Dave gently squeezed her waist and chuckled softly. “I remember someone begging me to stop.”
“Dave, you’re so cheeky,” she said, playfully trying to punch his chest, but he caught her fist.
He kissed her earlobe and grinned. “If you don’t remember that night, it’s fine. Tonight, I’ll make sure you won’t forget.”
She held onto his wrinkled white shirt, her cheeks flushed with embarrassment.
“Are you feeling better now?” Suddenly, Dave asked her seriously.
Bianca nodded shyly, her clear eyes slightly red. “Yes.”
Dave’s throat visibly moved as he leaned in, kissing her heated neck slowly…
His voice was rough and deep. “I planned to make love to you when I returned, but you’ve tempted me so much… I’m sorry, I can’t wait any longer.”
Bianca’s body felt like it was burning up. Instead of pushing him away, she wrapped her arms around his neck and whispered, “Dave, could you please be a bit more gentle this time?”
Her request only fueled Dave’s desire even more. He kissed her passionately, their connection intense and intoxicating.
“Bianca, just call me by my name.”
“Dave…”
“I want to hear more.”
“Dave, Dave…”
“Keep saying my name until your voice fades…”
After that, Bianca lost herself in the moment. Unlike their first time, which had been confusing, this time, she felt pleasure and intimacy with him. She repeated his name, imprinting it deep within her.
Dawn was breaking. As Bianca’s consciousness faded, she heard Dave whisper in her ear, “Bianc… I love you.”
When Bianca opened her eyes again, it was already noon.
Moving even slightly caused her body to ache. With effort, she managed to sit up in bed.
Looking around, she saw the ward was empty. Had Dave left?
Suddenly, Bianca felt a bit down.
At that moment, the door to the ward swung open. A woman in professional clothes came in, pushing a cart loaded with delicious food.
“What’s all this?” Bianca asked, eyes widening in surprise.
“Brunch,” the woman replied.
A familiar, comforting voice filled the room. Bianca looked up to see Dave, tall and strong, walking toward her.
Dave looked impeccable in a freshly ironed white shirt, his attitude composed and striking after their intense night together.
Bianca tilted her head, eying the cart filled with delicious food. She couldn’t decide whether to laugh or cry as she quipped, “Are you setting up a restaurant here?”
Dave responded calmly, “All of this is nutritious food.”
He smiled warmly, looking deeply into Bianca’s eyes. “You must be tired after last night. You need to regain your strength.”
Bianca’s cheeks flushed a deep shade of red!
Looking at the cart filled with food, Bianca hesitated. “But this is too much for me. We couldn’t possibly eat all of this, even together. And it must have cost a lot of money. It seems quite extravagant.”
“I wasn’t sure what you’d like, and I didn’t want to wake you, so I got a bit of everything. Don’t worry about the cost; it’s no problem.”
Dave picked up a bowl of porridge enriched with sea cucumber and bird’s nest, placing it beside Bianca. “How about this one?”
Bianca nodded slightly. After stirring the porridge, Dave held the spoon to her lips. “Here, open up. Let me feed you.”
Bianca’s eyes shifted to a woman standing nearby, dressed like a hotel manager, smiling in their direction.
“Hold on, there’s someone else here!” Bianca blurted out, her cheeks flushing.
Dave glanced at the woman and smiled. “You can go now.”
The woman nodded and exited the room.
“Now it’s just us. Are you ready to eat?”
With no further reason to decline, Bianca leaned in and started eating the porridge he offered.
“This is really tasty,” she said, looking up at Dave with surprise, and eagerly took a few more bites.
Little did she know, the food on the cart came from an expensive, top-tier restaurant that required reservations and cost a lot of money.
No wonder it tasted so good.
Watching her enjoy the meal, Dave couldn’t help but smile warmly.
After finishing the porridge, Bianca pointed to a plate of abalones on the cart. Dave handed them to her, and she playfully offered him a large one, saying, “Here, have some abalone to boost your energy!”
