Chapter 148: You Look Stunning Today

Acting swiftly, Dave reached for Bianca’s wrist again, swung open the door to a nearby private room, and pulled her inside.
The room was empty and cloaked in darkness.
“Dave, what are you doing…?” Bianca’s protest was interrupted by an unexpected kiss.
Outside, Ruby, Vincent, and Paige halted near the room.
“I can’t find Bianca. I want to say goodbye before I leave,” Ruby’s voice echoed through.
Bianca was on the other side of that door, held tightly in Dave’s embrace. She pushed against him, trying to escape, but he held her firmly, like an unyielding wall.
His kisses grew more intense, pressing her against the door and stealing her breath away in waves that left her dizzy and overwhelmed.
Outside, Vincent’s voice carried through the hallway, reaching them clearly. “She might be out handling some work, Ms. Garcia. If you’re in a hurry, feel free to go ahead. I’ll inform Bianca you were looking for her once she returns.”
Bianca, pressed against the door, clearly heard every word.
“I’m just worried, you know? It’s late, and she’s alone. I think I’ll give her a call,” Ruby said, her concern clear as she searched for her phone.
Panic flashed in Bianca’s eyes, fear suddenly gripping her. In a desperate move, she bit down on Dave’s lip.
With a grunt of pain, Dave let her go.
Bianca quickly grabbed her phone and silenced it.
Ruby’s call went unanswered, its echoes filling the silence until she finally gave up and hung up.
“Then please let Bianca know,” Ruby requested.
“Don’t worry,” Vincent reassured.
When the footsteps faded away, Bianca let out a sigh of relief.
Suddenly, with a click, Dave flipped a switch, filling the room with a soft glow.
Bianca looked up to see Dave’s intense gaze close to her own.
“Dave, what do you want?” she demanded; her anger was obvious in her voice as she asked for an explanation.
He had dragged her into this secluded space and kissed her without warning, and she was far from ready to forgive him.
Dave touched the corner of his mouth, where Bianca’s bite had drawn a little blood. It stung only slightly.
He looked at her closely. She wore a lacy top tucked into a black skirt, emphasizing her attractive figure. Her subtle makeup gave her a look of innocence and charm.
Remembering Brandon’s advice on how to impress a girl, Dave moved nearer, pushing Bianca against the wall.
Dave leaned in close, towering over Bianca, and gazed into her eyes. His voice was magnetic as he complimented her, “Bianca, you look stunning today.”
His dark, deep eyes seemed to draw her in.
Suddenly, Bianca felt her cheeks flush with embarrassment. She pushed him away forcefully, shouting, “Leave me alone, you creep!”
Then, she dashed out of the room without looking back.
Dave stood there, bewildered by her reaction.
He did what Brandon suggested, but why was Bianca angrier instead of happy?
In a quiet room, Brandon and Michael were playing dice. Suddenly, Dave burst in, glaring at Brandon, then slumped on the couch, smoking and clearly upset.
Brandon and Michael exchanged confused glances.
‘Why was Dave so angry so soon after leaving? And why did it seem like he was mad at Brandon?’
Brandon wondered what he did to upset Dave.
Inside, he grumbled to himself. He wouldn’t have come tonight if he had known this would happen.
In the private room, Bianca sat on the couch, seething as she replayed everything in her mind.
She had hoped Dave would come to her and apologize. Instead, he didn’t even admit his mistake; he just kissed her in a dark room.
The way Dave called her beautiful and looked at her made her wonder about his true intentions. Was this behavior new for him, or was it who he really was?
“Bianca, where were you just now? And why do you look upset?” Sophia asked, noticing Bianca sitting quietly in the corner.
Bianca’s face was hot, a reminder of what Dave had done.
“I might be a bit tipsy, but it’s okay,” Bianca said with a deep breath, smiling at Sophia. “There’s something important I want to talk to you about.”
Sophia nodded encouragingly.
Pushing aside recent events, Bianca shared her idea of starting a business.
Sophia was surprised by Bianca’s sudden ambition but became enthusiastic after hearing about the issues at Phoenix Entertainment.
“Bianca, five years ago, I actually dreamed of starting my own business, but something held me back then… Now, after all this time, the opportunity has come back around. I’ve always said I’d support you in anything. Count me in on this business venture.”
“Thanks, Sophia,” Bianca said, hugging her friend warmly. Nicolas watched them from afar, his eyes fixed on Sophia, intense yet composed.
At eleven that night, Dave sat in his car outside the bar, wondering where Bianca was and if she had already left.
He considered calling her but remembered how he had upset her earlier and decided against it. With a soft sigh, he gripped the steering wheel and drove away.
Meanwhile, Michael leaned against the bar’s entrance, quietly lighting another cigarette.
This bar held memories of where he had hurt Sophia. He stood there silently, feeling the cool evening breeze.
Bianca and Sophia emerged from the bar, their laughter filling the night, with Nicolas following behind.
Spotting Sophia, Nicolas put on a casual front and said, “Miss Johnson, Miss Scott, it’s getting late. Can I give you a ride home?”
Despite being celebrities known for heavy security, Nicolas and Sophia seemed approachable.
Michael, however, recognized Sophia immediately when she turned around. His eyes widened in surprise. Was she really here tonight?
Seeing Sophia near Nicolas made Michael restless. He tossed his cigarette aside and quickly closed the distance, grabbing Sophia’s arm.
“Sophia, where are you going? Let me drive you,” Michael insisted.
Sophia reacted coolly, shrugging off Michael’s approach and turning to Nicolas with a polite smile. “I’d love to. Thank you, Mr. Foster.”
Nicolas glanced briefly at Michael before warmly inviting Sophia, “This way, please.”
Without looking back at Michael, Sophia walked off with Bianca and Nicolas.
Frustrated, Michael clenched his fists tightly, his eyes blazing with anger. He pulled out his phone and dialed Brandon’s number.
Brandon had left the bar before Michael and Dave, relaxing in his car. When he saw Michael’s number, he answered right away. “What’s going on, Michael? What’s the problem?”
“Come back here and make your brother leave Sophia alone. Otherwise, I’ll figure out a way to get him banned.”
Brandon felt shocked when the call suddenly ended.
‘What just happened?’ How did his brother get involved with Sophia and upset Michael?
Brandon started to get a headache. ‘Why was everything going wrong tonight?’
