Xavier downed a glass of liquor as if it were poison, but he didn’t feel dizzy.
He believed that the first glass hadn’t affected him yet.
“Another!” Zachary exclaimed after finishing his glass, picking up another.
Xavier followed suit, drinking his second glass, still feeling nothing. He became excited.
It didn’t make sense. This strong liquor was equivalent to four or five regular drinks. He had already had two glasses and felt no effect.
In contrast, Zachary showed signs of drunkenness after two glasses.
“Come on!” Zachary downed another glass in one go.
Xavier drank as well, shaking his head and realizing he still felt nothing, as if he had been drinking water.
This made him jump up excitedly and shout, “Damn, my potential has been unleashed! Come on, drink!”
He eagerly grabbed another glass and downed it.
Zachary and the other two were shocked by this scene.
This wasn’t right. Given Xavier’s usual tolerance, four glasses of such strong liquor should have left him a mess!
“Come… come on!” Zachary’s tongue began to slur after four glasses.
He felt extremely dizzy but stubbornly picked up a fifth glass.
Before he could finish it, he collapsed to the floor.
“Useless! If you can’t drink, why pretend?” Xavier raged.
He quickly finished his fifth glass, feeling even more exhilarated.
Even he found it unbelievable, wondering if he was possessed by the god of wine.
“Your turn, you two losers,” Xavier pointed at Wyatt and Levi.
Wyatt and Levi exchanged bewildered glances, cold sweat forming on their foreheads. They couldn’t understand why Xavier seemed to get more energetic the more he drank.
But they had already made a bet and couldn’t back out. Reluctantly, they started drinking with Xavier in turns.
Xavier didn’t waste time with them, drinking eight glasses in a row, challenging them to keep up.
“Brother Leon, I’m on fire tonight!” Xavier felt incredibly clear-headed and excited, looking at Leo with a different expression.
Although he didn’t know why his tolerance had suddenly increased, he knew it had something to do with Leo.
Wyatt and Levi struggled after just one glass each, eventually admitting defeat with pained expressions.
“Admitting defeat? Fine, wake him up!” Xavier gestured for them to wake Zachary.
“I’ll do it.” Leo walked over and pressed a point on Zachary’s hand.
Zachary woke up somewhat clear-headed, leaning on the table as he got up. “Who… who won?”
“Your grandpa did!” Xavier arrogantly pointed at himself, then slapped his stomach. “Alright, call your girlfriends. Tonight, I’m taking on all three!”
“What!? You… you won?” Zachary snapped awake, angrily looking at Wyatt and Levi. “Useless! You’re both useless!”
“Don’t blame them; you’re no better. Hurry up and make the call,” Xavier said, reclining on the sofa with his legs crossed.
Since childhood, he had always competed with these three. He had gained advantages but never truly won. Tonight was the most satisfying victory in twenty years!
He winked at Leo and said with a smile, “Brother Leon, these guys’ girlfriends are quite pretty. How about I share one with you later?”
“No thanks, I’m a married man,” Leo replied with a smile.
“What are you three waiting for? Make the calls!” Xavier urged impatiently.
“Xavier, we’re all buddies here. No need to go this far…” Wyatt stammered, losing his initial bravado.
“Yeah, Xavier, we’re all brothers…” Levi added with a bitter face. “How about we change the terms?”
Zachary sat silently with a dark expression.
“Brothers? Now you want to be brothers? Who wanted to sleep with my girlfriend earlier? No way. Make the calls!” Xavier demanded impatiently.
“Xavier, they’re right. If you’re all brothers, sleeping with their girlfriends isn’t right,” Leo interjected with a smile.
“Right! Brother Leon is reasonable,” Wyatt and Levi looked gratefully at Leo.
Xavier was puzzled by Leo’s sudden defense of these three jerks.
“But being brothers should mean something. If they acknowledge you as their big brother, then you’re truly brothers,” Leo suggested with a smile.
Xavier’s eyes lit up, understanding Leo’s intention.
Brother Leon was helping him rise in status. If they acknowledged him as their big brother, he would always be above them. This was better than sleeping with their girlfriends!
“Right! Brother Leon is right! If you’re my brothers, then your girlfriends are my sisters-in-law. I can’t sleep with them. But if you’re not my brothers, I won’t be polite,” Xavier said proudly.
Wyatt and Levi exchanged glances and then looked at Zachary for guidance.
Among the four of them, Xavier and Zachary were the most formidable.
Both knew some martial arts and were evenly matched. Both wanted to be the leader of their group.
So if Zachary nodded, Wyatt and Levi would follow suit.
“Think carefully about whether you want to acknowledge me. If your girlfriends get slept with, your reputations will be ruined in the capital’s social circles,” Leo reminded them calmly.
Wyatt and Levi gritted their teeth and nodded in unison. “Alright, we acknowledge Xavier as our big brother.”
“Good, you know what’s best for you,” Xavier said happily to Zachary. “You were too slow to respond; you’ll be the fourth brother.”
“Who wants to acknowledge you as big brother?” Zachary stood up abruptly. “It’s just a girl; I’ll give her to you.”
He took out his phone and called his girlfriend. “Come over now and spend the night with Xavier. I’ll give you a million dollars.”
“What are you talking about? No way…” The voice on the other end was shocked and angry.
