Hearing this, Emma sneered, “Come on, at this point, you still want to deceive us? Do you think you can know Mr. Rogers?”
“Besides, that’s his private villa. What does it have to do with you? Being poor isn’t shameful, but bragging really is.”
“Quentin, can’t you be more realistic?”
Charlotte felt a bit troubled. She believed Quentin’s words, but she also knew that although the Howard family had past relations with Raphael, a villa worth millions was an enormous favor.
