Rosiley’s head was about to break from her headache. Vaguely, she saw the direction where the car was going. Inside her heart, she was about to tear that name apart—Rorey!
Rosiley never once expected that the malicious woman Rorey would knock her down with a car in an attempt to kill her.
That woman was more than just malicious—she was pure evil, so terrifying that one would shiver in fear.
Rosiley struggled to keep herself awake. She ground her teeth to prevent herself from going unconscious.
Taking out her cell phone from her bag, she called a number. “Sachin…”
When Rosiley called Sachin, he was listening to the reports of the management of REG Group.
The sudden ring from his cell phone broke the solemn atmosphere in the office. As Sachin glanced at the caller ID, he signaled the person reporting to be quiet as he picked up the phone.
Under the bewildered expressions of everyone, his expression and even his voice softened. “Are you coming back?”
“Sachin…”
On the other end of the phone, her weak voice was heard.
Sachin was stunned. His brows twisted into a frown. “How? You sound so weak; did something happen?”
“I… was knocked down by a car.”
Her voice was shivering as she was obviously under a great shock, with a tinge of fear within it.
Her words made Sachin jump up from his seat. His brows raised up as he asked, “What happened? Where are you? Did something happen? Tell me the address. I will come immediately.”
“I am bleeding so much. I am at…”
Rosiley felt her vision getting blurry. The pain had occupied the entirety of her brain, making it difficult for her to even speak.
“Wait for me there. I will come immediately.”
After hanging up the call hastily, Sachin picked up his jacket and left the office, leaving all his subordinates behind.
“What happened?”
They all looked at each other, as it was the first time they saw Sachin out of control.
After racing to the scene of the accident, Sachin saw the woman turn from a complete person to someone showered in blood. He could only feel hot blood rushing into his head.
He ran to Rosiley’s side. She was already unconscious then, with her face completely pale. She was like a withered flower, completely lifeless.
“Big Brother, come on, let’s take sister-in-law to the hospital. Lane, take care of the scene here.”
When he saw the scene, Corey was alarmed as well. He immediately pulled the door of his car open.
As the two rushed Rosiley to the hospital, Sachin hugged Rosiley tightly. A sense of frustration showed on his usually cold expression.
“Darling, wake up. Open your eyes and look at me…”
He lowered his head and called out to her, while prompting Corey, “Drive faster!”
Rosiley leaned in his arms. She opened her eyes slightly but could not focus.
His hug was very warm.
That familiar warmth made her smile at ease.
“You are finally here.”
She murmured quietly before her consciousness disappeared in the darkness.
