Alpha Ricardo’s POV
”Where is Mia?” I asked the first servant I met in the sitting room.
”I have no idea, my lord.” She responded quickly.
”Fuck!” I blurted in panic and tried making a mind Link to her, but she refused responding.
”Is everything alright?” Aunt Cara asked as she made her way to me. ”Not really, where is Mia?” I asked, troubled.
”She went out with her friends. I heard they went clubbing.” She responded worried.
”Mine!” My wolf spoke possessively, bringing me to understand that Mia was being romantic with a man. Realizing that, a sudden rush of jealousy enveloped my entire being, I couldn’t withstand the thought of her being with a man.
With panic, I made Link’s mind to Rachael and got a response. ”Alpha…” She tried speaking, but I cut her off, ”Where are you guys?” I demanded Angrily.
”We…” She stammered, more like she wanted to lie to me. ”Don’t you dare lie to me.” I warned, ”Tell me your location.” I demanded.
”We are at the lotus club.” She responded, frightened.
Quickly, I ended the mind link and teleported to the location. Within a split of two seconds, I appeared at the door of the club, which was guarded by two bouncers.
The moment they noticed my presence, they lowered their heads and quickly opened the door for me to go in.
I hastily stepped into the club, sucked a deep breath and instantly perceived her scents. ”She is here.” Eric announced to me and led me towards a direction.
Following Eric’s directions, I walked past the bar and stopped in front of a door which was written VIP lounge two. ”What is she doing here?” I spoke in fear and quickly held the doorknob of the door.
Quickly, I stepped in and closed the door behind me. I moved my gaze around and saw Mia seated in the lap of a dude. Her hands were wrapped around his neck while he grabbed her ass as they kissed passionately.
”Get away from her!” I yelled and stormed at them. In a swift motion, I lifted her away from his lap and gave him a hard punch on his face. ”Stay away from her, she is mine.” I yelled possessively and wanted to hit him again, but she held my arms.
”Stop it!” She yelled and stood before me with rage-burning eyes. ”You have no right…” Before she could complete her words, I took hold of her left arm and teleported away with her.
We arrived in my private room, forcing me to let go of her. ”And what was the meaning of that?” She questioned angered, while I didn’t give her a response. ”Take me back!” She demanded, ”I won’t.” I declared firmly. ”Take me back, alpha Ricardo.” She yelled while clenching her fists.
I could see that she was really furious with my actions, but I wasn’t bothered about it, all that kept playing in my head was what I saw at the club. ”Who is he?” I demanded jealously.
”None of your business, you have no right to ask me that.” She yelled, ”Oh yes, we do.” My Wolf spoke possessively, but I couldn’t say it out.
”I will live my life the way it pleases me, you have no right to control it.” She yelled and took a step closer to me. ”I will kiss whoever I want to kiss, talk to whomever I want to talk to and perhaps Fuck whoever I wish to fuck, and you will do nothing about it…” I didn’t let her finish her words when out of impulse I took hold of her arms and pulled her to myself, that we were just an inch apart from each other. Her eyes dilated with shock as we interlocked eyes with each other. ”You are mine!” I spoke firmly, ”And will always be mine.” I spoke possessively, still holding her arms.
Her eyes were filled with anger and hate as she held my gaze, she hated me so much and she wasn’t even hiding it.
”Let go of me this very minute.” She demanded and I instantly obeyed.
Angrily, she scoffed and shook her head in disbelief, ”I’m yours?” She scoffed with a mockery laugh. ”Really?” She asked again while she chuckled loudly, which made my wolf whimpered in pain. ”You must be really joking, alpha Ricardo.” She said and shook her head in disbelief. ”What makes you think that I’m yours?” She asked, while I couldn’t give a response.
”I was never yours and will never be yours.” She spoke firmly. ”Over my dead body will I let you have me.” She muttered those words as a vow while holding my gaze with no form of joke in her eyes.
”I reject you, Alpha Ricardo, I reject you.” She yelled, ”I refused your rejection.” I cut in, ”I, alpha Ricardo, reject your rejection.” I spoke quickly, still holding her gaze.
She held my gaze with anger-filled eyes before taking a step closer to me. ”What are your plans?” She asked, annoyed. ”What do you want from me?” she spoke agitated and took another step closer. ”Let me be Alpha Ricardo, I have already had enough.” She spoke angered. While I remained silent.
Silence filled the whole place as we both remained silent. She was fuming with rage, while I was filled with guilt. ”I’m sorry.” I apologized, breaking the silence, but didn’t get a reaction from her. ”I shouldn’t have done what I did and there is no excuse for it…” Please stop it.” She demanded, ”I don’t wanna hear it.” She said and stormed out of the room, while I didn’t bother to stop her.
With a frustrated sigh, I sat on the couch and went into deep thought. I knew I had already lost her and there was nothing I was going to do to get her back.
”Maybe you can show her the other part of you. The one she never saw.” Eric suggested, getting me confused.
”What do you mean?” I asked, ”You know Mia only got to see the bad part of you, but she hasn’t really seen your good side, maybe you can start from there.” He explained while I scoffed, and shook my head, ”You think there is goodness in me?” I asked in disbelief. ”Of course, everyone knows that except for Mia.” Eric muttered.
Out of curiosity, I made a mind link to Jayson and quickly got a response. ”I will ask you a question and please I really need an honest answer.” I muttered through mind Link.
”Roger that.” He responded.
”Am I a good person?” I asked,
”Yes, you are.” He responded without thinking about it.
”You think so?” I asked again.
”Definitely. Now tell me why you are asking?” He asked, curious.
With a heavy sigh, I stood to my feet and stood beside the window. ”My wolf suggested that I show my good side to Mia, perhaps she will forgive me, but I don’t know how to do that.” I grumbled while Jayson remained silent for a moment before speaking. ”It’s easy to do that.” He spoke confidently, ”Just be the boy you were before your eighteenth birthday.” He said, getting me confused. ”Meaning?” I asked confused.
”Think about this…” He paused for some seconds before he continued, ”Think about what you would have turned out to be if everything turned out the opposite on your eighteenth birthday. What if you met Mia, and she wasn’t your sister but happened to be just a member of the pack? What if you found out that your mom really died from a longtime illness instead of the lies you were told. Perhaps you would have grown to be a better version of yourself.” He explained while I listened attentively.
”Imagine how you would have treated Mia if the truth was revealed to you the day we went to visit the seer, Maybe you would have treated her right.” He said while I just listened, ”It’s time to take a u turn, show her how sorry you are, and perhaps she might forgive you.” He added, while I heaved a deep sigh and sat back on the bed. ”Thank you and goodnight.” I ended the mind link and began taking off my clothes.
”So will you do it?” Eric asked while I went into deep thought, wondering if it would really work. ”Just give it a try.” Eric pleaded, but didn’t get a response from me.
Exhausted, I lay on the bed and forced myself to sleep.
The next morning, I woke up by the alarm beside my bed. Lazily, I left the bed and went straight to the bathroom. I stood before the mirror, pondering on where to start, and a thought came to my head. ”Aunt Cara?” I spoke through mind link.
”Greetings alpha Ricardo.” she greeted formally, and I really hate it when she does that, but I wasn’t going to talk about it now. ”Can you make Mia’s favorite breakfast and send it up to my room?” I requested, while she remained silent for a moment before responding. ”Alright, alpha Ricardo, I’ll do just that.” She responded. ”Thank you.” I said and ended the mind link.
”You can do this.” Eric encouraged me while I released a frustrated sigh and left the mirror.
After taking my bath, I got dressed in black sweatpants and a blue hoodie and just when I was about to arrange my hair, I heard a knock on the door. ”Come in.” I gestured.
The door opened, and a female servant walked in with a tray of food in her hands. ”Greetings alpha Ricardo, this is the breakfast you requested.” She said while bowing her head in respect.
”Hand it here.” I told, stretching my hands to her. She left the door and gave the tray of breakfast to me. ”Thank you, you may leave.” I told her while she lowered her head and left.
Curious, I checked the time and realized it was just 7am, and she might still be sleeping. ”Maybe I should let it be.” I murmured, scared, but Eric gave a disapproving groan. ”Fine, I’m going.” I grumbled and teleported away.
I found myself in front of Mia’s bedroom door and nervously glared at the tray in my hands, I was damn nervous and scared. ”You can do it.” I mumbled to myself and knocked on the door, but didn’t get a response from her. Again I knocked, but still no response from her. Curious, I went in and closed the door behind me. I stepped into the room and realized she wasn’t in the room, but the shower was running, indicating she was taking her bath. Gulping nervously, I stood while I heard her singing loudly in the shower. She sounded so happy while singing, giving me the privilege to hear her melodious voice. ”Mine!” Eric spoke possessively, while I just gulped and imagined her in the bathroom. Water dripping from her hair, naked perfect body and… ”Pervert.” Eric groaned while I scoffed and cleared my thoughts.
Just when I was about to compose myself, the door of the bathroom opened and Mia walked out of the bathroom totally naked, making the tray of food in my hands fall to the floor. ”Goddess!” She exclaimed in shock while I turned around in a rush, but it was already too late.
