I was glad that my wolf was suppressed, so he wouldn’t keep chanting the word ”mate” in my head. Grunting angrily, I let go of her wrist, took a step away from her and watched her turn to me with stunned and terrified eyes.
She carries so much innocence in her eyes which made me have a tiny bit of pity for her, but I quickly shook it off and said, ”Father will be buried tomorrow night, you can decide on when and where you want to bury your mother, but she won’t be buried as a Luna or as father’s wife.” I announced and saw her shook her head in a pleading manner.
”Please don’t do this, this is the highest insult you can give to mother.” She pleaded and tried taking a step closer to me, but she ceased her steps and sobbed loudly while holding my gaze, but I refused to be moved by it. If I need to get my revenge, then I have to possess the heart of a monster, and it has to begin from now.
”That’s my decision, and it’s final.” I declared and saw her drop to the floor before me. Quickly, she held my left leg and sobbed loudly.
”Please don’t do this to mother, please, I can’t lay her to rest all by myself.” She cried loudly on my feet, which made me groan and forcefully pulled her away. ”This is just the tip of an ice bug of what I will do to you, you have no idea of how much misery I will make you go through.” I expressed those words as a promise and turned to leave. ”You should bury her as fast as you can, I won’t pay for the mortuary fee.” I declared and walked away while her loud sob filled the room.
The moment I closed the door behind me, I inhaled deeply and walked to the doctor’s office.
”Please have a seat.” The doctor said, gesturing me to take the seat before him. ”When will she be discharged?” I asked while taking the seat.
”Two to three days, depends on her test result…” ”She will be discharged tomorrow.” I cut in, ”But…” He wanted to object to it, but stopped halfway.
”The hospital bills will be paid by our account manager. He will get in contact with you.”with those words, I stood to my feet and said, ”Don’t worry she will be fine, I’ll take care of her, after all she is my sister.” I sarcastically said those words with a bitter chuckle and walked out of his office.
I got into my car, inhaled deeply and started up the engine of the car.
After a fifteen-minute drive, I arrived at the mansion, threw the keys at one of our housekeepers and walked into the sitting room.
The moment I entered the sitting room, I saw Anita, one of my favorite sex mates, seated on the couch. ”Sir Ricardo.” She stood to her feet and greeted with a bow.
‘I’m twenty years and just two years older than you, so I see no need of you doing that, at least not now.” I said and collapsed on the couch.
”I’m so sorry… ” ”I’d prefer not to hear it.” I cut her off with a groan, while she obediently nodded her head and sat beside me. ”I know you must be going through a lot, and I wish I could help in relieving you of this pain.” She spoke seductively while she gently massaged my shoulders.
I groaned at her behavior and wanted to send her away, but then I thought a distraction could help me escape from all this.
”Go to the room and get yourself ready.” I said in a commanding tone, which forced her up on her feet. ”As you please.” She lowered her head and made her way to my visitor’s room, which was different from my bedroom.
I remember when dad was alive and how he would complain about me bringing in different girls to the mansion, but I never heed to his words because having sex with those ladies takes my mind off Mia, although my wolf always kicks against it and won’t talk to me for days, but I never cared about it. Sighing heavily, I stood to my feet and took the stairs to the top floor, which was where my guests’ room was located. When I reached the door, I inhaled deeply before entering.
The moment I got in, I met Anita kneeling on the floor, totally naked.
Ignoring her, I walked straight to the window, opened it and stood by it, which gave me the opportunity to have a nice view of the pack. As I stared at the pack, a sudden fear gripped me. I never intended to become the alpha of the biggest pack in California at the age of twenty. The plan was to take over the pack at the age of twenty-five, but dad’s sudden death changed everything.
I was in my final year at university and I had planned to travel to Canada for my Masters but right now, I knew it was impossible to do that.
”Are you okay?” Anita’s words brought me back to reality.

”I’m a lady and not a toy or a whore, stop treating me as one.” She yelled and stood before me. ”I don’t know who is this girl you love so much and wishes to forget, but right now, it’s over!” She yelled, ”I’m done with you using me as a tool to get over her, goodbye Rick.” She yelled and stormed out of the room, while I just stood there and watched her leave.
”Love?” I said with a bitter chuckle, and sat on the bed.
She has no idea, absolutely no idea how much I hated this girl.
Tiredly, I collapsed on the bed and forced myself into a deep sleep, hoping all this would be over when I woke up.
After several hours of sleeping, I woke up and realized it was already dark outside. Sighing heavily, I left the bed and walked out of my room. I took the stairs to the sitting room and met all the servants busy with tomorrow’s preparations.
When they noticed my presence, they lowered their heads before walking away.
I walked out of the mansion and made my way to the woods. The moment I got to the woods I stood on a spot, took off my clothes and easily shifted into my wolf form. ” Finally, you’ve let me out.” Eric spoke in an angry tone, which I ignored. ”You should check on Mia, she is…” ‘

As I raced deeper into the woods, pleasant memories I had with fatter flickered in my head. I remember how he taught me how to ride a bicycle. Despite his busy schedule, he taught me everything a normal father would teach his son.
We went racing together. He taught me how to swim and also made time for us to work out together every weekend. Despite what he did to mother, he was a good father and never failed in his responsibilities. Despite how much I hated him, I knew I was really going to miss him and his fatherly love and advice.
With a heart filled with pain, I climbed the highest mountain in the woods and howled loudly, informing all members of the pack of the departure of their Alpha.
