Isabel collected her emotions, barely pulled out a smile at the person who greeted her and lowered her voice.
“Anyway, now that things are cleared up, Amelia mustn’t be allowed to stay in the studio anymore, and I don’t know if there’s a next time.”
“Well, she certainly won’t be allowed to stay here.” Blanca Roach scanned the room and frowned slightly, “Didn’t she come over today?”
“I don’t think so, I haven’t seen her.”
“Got it, I’ll have my assistant inform her to come over tomorrow to pick up her stuff and ask for something in the meantime.”
Paddy squeezed all the way from the outside of the press conference to the inside, only to find that the people on the stage at the end of the conference were also missing, so he could only follow the road to the backstage again.
He caught a glimpse of the sad-faced person and walked right past her, his tone anxious.
“Blanca, finally found you.”
“Brother Paddy.” Blanca Roach looked up and saw the visitor, hastily collected her emotions, her tone was suspicious, “Why did you come over here?”
“I just came back from abroad, I heard about you and rushed over to look for you.”
Although the words are so said, but only he himself knows the kind of anxiety and disappointment on the way.
He thought that only Matthew Grant was hostile to him, and Blanca at least still had some childhood feelings for him, but when he went to the hospital to see her again and was informed that she had already left, he was still disappointed.
So, he finished his business and rushed here as soon as he returned home, just to see her.
“So, it’s okay, after this press conference, this matter will be almost solved, don’t worry.”
Blanca Roach gave a narrow-eyed laugh and tried to keep her tone as light as possible.
It was her own business in the end, and now that it was nearing its end, she couldn’t let Paddy get involved again.
“It’s good that it’s settled.” Paddy looked gloomy and gave a faint smile, “I’m not much of a problem, I just didn’t expect you to return home so early.”
“This ah, is Matthew Grant his company something, so I rushed back with him, not intentionally hidden from you.”
Paddy was just about to say something when he saw Matthew Grant walking over and immediately blocked in front of Blanca Roach.
“President Paddy, this doesn’t seem to be a place for you to come.” Matthew Grant narrowed his eyes, omitting even the polite pleasantries, his tone cold, “Besides, my wife doesn’t need to report to you about any trip.”
“I’m just expressing my concern for Blanca, it has nothing to do with President Grant.”
Matthew Grant took a half step back and swept Blanca Roach into his arms with the information in her arms, making a move to leave.
“Blanca is my wife, her affairs are my affairs, expressing concern for such matters will not bother President Paddy.”
After saying that, he took the person in his arms out of the backstage from the other side without stopping halfway.
Blanca Roach was forced to follow and couldn’t breathe a sigh of relief until she got into her car.
She frowned slightly, turned to look at Matthew Grant who sat in the driver’s seat as if nothing had happened, and pouted.
“Mr. Grant, don’t you think that’s rude, Paddy was just talking to me for a few minutes, there’s no need to be so hostile.”
Matthew Grant raised his eyebrows and leaned over to press the person into the passenger side, his thin lips opening and closing.
“Mrs. Grant, do you think I can be nice to a love interest who is blatantly trying to steal my wife?”
“This …” Blanca Roach choked for a moment, her eyes dodging as she slyly said, “Can’t be rude, at least?”
Matthew Grant sighed and reached out to pinch her face, his tone helpless.
“Ma’am, you’re being pushy.”
