The new product launch was imminent, but Blanca Roach noticed that Isabel was always dazed in her seat lately, not even responding to a few calls.
She sat in her office chair, and her sixth sense told her that it was most likely related to Curtis Irwin.
With that in mind, she dialed her assistant.
“Get Isabel in the office.”
The other end hung up for more than ten minutes before there was a knock at the office door.
“Blanca, you wanted to see me.”
“You sit down first.”
Blanca Roach frowned at the listless person in the doorway, gestured with her chin to the chair opposite, and changed her serious tone.
“I’ve heard the others respond that you’ve been in a bad way at work lately.”
“Huh? I’ll take care of that.”
Isabel nodded as an afterthought, but still didn’t seem to be listening, staring down at the floor.
The doubt in Blanca Roach’s eyes deepened and she let out a sigh.
“You have to work hard in the studio, how can you bring your personal emotions into the work. What, did you have a fight with Curtis Irwin?”
“Not really a fight.”
Isabel lowered her tone and looked frustrated, “It’s just that we don’t always see eye to eye.”
“Isn’t that a common thing between couples?” Blanca Roach spoke at length, “So what is the point of disagreement? Discuss it in light of that point.”
She had watched Isabel and Curtis Irwin along the way, so naturally she didn’t want to see the two of them quarreling, so she could persuade them.
“We’ve discussed it, but he always says we’ll talk about it later.”
Isabel’s voice is getting lower and lower, and her words are filled with loss, so she is really sad.
After marriage is a matter between two people, but as in love, conflicts and differences can not be delayed.
Otherwise, it will be like a snowball rolling bigger and bigger, and finally uncontrollable.
Blanca Roach stood up and walked over to her, tapped her on the shoulder and asked tentatively.
“So what exactly is the disagreement between you guys? Tell me so I can give you some ideas.”
Isabel looked up at Blanca Roach and thought about it for a moment before speaking.
“I asked him if he wanted to plan a baby, and he refused, saying we’d talk about it later, but I really like kids.”
Blanca Roach frowned, not knowing how to speak for a moment.
After all, the matter of whether to have a child or not was a private matter between the two of them, and she was an outsider, so it was wrong to interfere in any way.
Moreover, she couldn’t make the decision for either of them, they had to figure it out for themselves.
“Isabel, first of all, this kind of thing can’t be rushed, after all, you are also just married not long, now discussing can’t be negotiated slowly later.”
Isabel seemed more aggrieved, wide-eyed.
“But he also hesitated when getting married, and still does.”
Before Blanca Roach could say anything more, the phone on her desk rang.
Blanca Roach glanced at it; it was the number of the receptionist, and it was probably Curtis Irwin coming over to the studio looking for someone.
She gestured to the phone with her eyes and inquired, “See?”
“I don’t want to see him just yet.”
Blanca Roach nodded and reached for the phone, her tone cold.
“Tell the man that I’m busy right now and I’m not available to see him, so he can come back another time.”
“But … the gentleman whose last name is Irwin has already broken in hard.”
“Got it.”
Blanca Roach closed her eyes, feeling mentally tired in advance, and she gestured at Isabel to the break room in her office.
“Curtis Irwin is already in, so if you really don’t want to see him, go hide there.”
