Three days later, the hotel.
The wedding was held in the city of S. All the media were waiting outside with guns blazing.
Blanca Roach arrived at the hotel early, found Isabel’s room, and looked at her from behind the mirror.
“How is it? Does it feel good to be a bride?”
“Blanca, you’re here!” Isabel stood up from the stool, walked over to her and squeezed her wrist, lowering her voice, “Actually, I’m a little nervous.”
Blanca Roach backhanded her and patted the back of her hand, sending her back to sit on the edge of the bed.
“Don’t be nervous, relax, you look beautiful today.”
It is said that a girl is most beautiful the moment she puts on her wedding dress, and this is not a bad saying at all. The long white wedding dress made Isabel’s whole body even more bright and beautiful than usual.
However, the most important thing is the feeling of happiness that emanates from the inside out.
“The groom’s side will come to pick you up in a few minutes.”
Amelia helped to take the veil and hang it on the hanger next to her, and looked up to Blanca Roach and hooked the corner of her mouth as a greeting.
She knew there would be a lot of upper class people at the wedding today, so she had dressed up a bit.
Perhaps, she could still have a chance to pick up a rich young man.
But after seeing Blanca Roach, she realized what the gap was. The jewelry she bought with a few months’ salary might not be as good as a diamond in the ring on Blanca Roach’s hand.
Matthew Grant leaned against the door frame, raised his hand and knocked on the door, whispering.
“Blanca, it’s time to go.”
Blanca Roach looked up at the sound of her voice, and her face softened a bit as she nodded.
“Isabel, I’ll go first with Matthew Grant, so I won’t keep you from getting dressed, and we’ll get together again at the party tonight.”
“Mm-hmm, you go first.”
Amelia glanced at the man at the door, her heart tightened, and her eyes suddenly couldn’t leave.
This man, wasn’t he exactly what she had always wanted?
Tall, handsome and rich, then she could walk around S City without anyone daring to object, who would dare to look down on her?
Amelia withdrew her thoughts, patted the hem of her skirt and sat on the edge of the bed, asking seemingly unintentionally.
“Isabel, who is that man just now?”
“You mean the one who picked up Blanca?”
Isabel straightened her wedding dress and sat back in front of the mirror with the hem of her skirt, “That’s my boss, the president of Empire Group, Matthew Grant.”
Amelia’s heart sank, and her hands secretly clenched the sheets.
She had long heard that the president of Empire Group had suddenly married a woman of unknown origin earlier and had given birth to a child not long ago, could it be the two people just now?
Isabel sighed lightly and fiddled a few times with the hair she had gotten done.
“The two of them have always been envious and enamored with each other.”
Envious?
Amelia pursed her lips and didn’t say anything back, standing up and running her veil next to the hanger.
Isabel frowned, turned her head to look at her and asked, “Amelia, why do you ask? Do you want to get married too?”
“No!”
Amelia hastily retorted, throwing aside the veil in her hand in a panic, “I’m just curious to ask, nothing more.”
Isabel blinked, thinking that Amelia’s reaction was a bit too intense, but didn’t think too deeply about it, and turned back to fiddling with the hair accessories on her head.
“But I think it’s time for you to think about your life events.”
“I know.”
Of course Amelia knew she had to think about herself, and there was no shortage of suitors around her.
But she just wasn’t willing to marry a mediocre man, she had to naturally marry the best in the whole of S City so that she wouldn’t be looked down upon by others.
