“Alright, who do you think our opponent will be this time?” Leo asked again.
Vivian replied, “I think it’s most likely the Sea Eagle Organization.”
“Sea Eagle Organization?” Leo had never heard of it. “Isn’t it the Shield Agency or something?”
“Oh, you know about the Shield Agency?” Vivian was surprised.
Leo rolled his eyes. Come on, he had watched plenty of American TV shows and movies.
“It’s unlikely to be the Shield Agency because they understand what The Nine Cauldrons mean to Atraria. They wouldn’t cause trouble for themselves,” Knox shared his opinion.
Vivian clenched her fists. “Whoever it is, we’ll find out when we get to the estate. Anyone daring to target The Nine Cauldrons will get a good lesson from us.”
“Ahem,” Alden coughed twice and spoke up, “Gentlemen, and the lovely Vivian, we’re approaching Rockefeller Estate. Let me give you a brief introduction.”
Rockefeller Estate was located in a small town called Sleepy Hollow, over 100 kilometers north of New York City.
The estate was built in the early 20th century on the banks of the Hudson River. It covered 4, 000 acres, surrounded by green hills and clear waters.
The main villa was a two-story building with a basement, as well as storage rooms and garages.
The main building was constructed on a hill, the highest point in the area.
From the main building, one could overlook the beautiful scenery of the Hudson River and even catch a glimpse of New York City.
The main building had four floors above ground for living quarters and two underground levels for an art gallery.
Behind the main building was a beautifully designed garden with numerous trees, fountains, pavilions, and classical sculptures.
The garden bordered the Hudson River, offering excellent views of the expansive river and distant rolling mountains.
The entire estate included 75 buildings, 70 private roads, sculpture gardens, an underground art gallery, a children’s playground, a 9-hole golf course, farms, extensive wild forest parks, several lakes, and an artificial swan lake gifted by Rockefeller to his wife.
“That’s a general overview of Rockefeller Park. I wish you all the best,” Alden said as he slowed down the car because they were very close to the estate.
The car turned onto a tree-lined path and stopped. They were now about 500 meters from Rockefeller Estate.
Alden lowered his voice, “This is as far as I can take you. Be careful.”
The three got out of the car and surveyed their surroundings.
The greenery was excellent, especially at night. Using the trees for cover made it easy to approach the estate.
Alden retrieved three small suitcases from the trunk and opened them on the ground.
The suitcases seemed to contain clothes, which Leo found puzzling.
“Now we put on our stealth suits,” Knox said as he took out clothes from a suitcase and started putting them on.
“Stealth suits?” Leo was no longer surprised by WONDER’s high-tech gadgets.
He wondered if these suits could really make their bodies disappear and how they compared to his invisibility talisman.
Knox quickly put on the suit and helmet, then disappeared right before their eyes.
Seeing Leo’s astonished expression, Vivian explained, “This is WONDER’s latest stealth combat suit. It can block infrared sensors and thermal cameras. Try it on, Leo.”
This was impressive stuff, even better than his invisibility talisman. Leo took a suit from the suitcase and put it on.
The helmet had lenses over the eyes. Once he wore it, Knox reappeared before him.
Dressed in their stealth suits, the three exchanged glances and moved towards Rockefeller Estate.
Due to its remote location and being the only estate in the area, Rockefeller Estate was eerily quiet at night. Apart from the sound of insects, there was almost no other noise.
Soon, they reached the estate’s wall.
Leo used his Divine Awareness to probe inside slowly. There were people inside, mostly patrols who were easy to handle. The estate’s surveillance system could be ignored thanks to their stealth suits.
Leo didn’t dare release his Divine Awareness too broadly; if there were any Espers in the estate who could sense it, it would be problematic.
Retracting his Divine Awareness, Leo whispered, “I used a secret technique to check. The south side has the fewest patrols. We’ll enter from there.”
Knox and Vivian nodded and followed Leo to the south side of the estate.
Upon reaching the southern wall, Leo initially planned to use his Escape Technique to bring Knox and Vivian inside but remembered his experience at Westminster Abbey. His Escape Technique didn’t seem to work well in Western countries.
Leo speculated that it might be due to “incompatibility” with Western lands lacking Dragon Veins. Without Dragon Veins, there was no special earth environment like in Atraria, which was necessary for the Escape Technique.
He decided to use his Spiritual Power to jump over instead.
Pointing at the wall above them, Leo asked, “Knox, Vivian, can you get up there?”
Knox and Vivian exchanged glances. Knox’s figure blurred and disappeared; looking up, he was already crouching on top of the wall.
Vivian’s body floated up lightly like a feather until she reached the top of the wall.
Leo smiled; he had underestimated these two WONDER Espers.
Channeling Spiritual Power into his legs, Leo crouched and lightly jumped up.
Over the wall, they entered the estate grounds.
It was pitch dark inside except for some distant lights in tall buildings; everything else was shrouded in darkness.
The calm exterior was deceptive; hidden surveillance cameras and alarm systems were constantly active.
However, these posed no threat to three invisible people.
Identifying the direction of the main building, they quietly advanced along the estate’s paths.
Suddenly, Vivian let out a half-stifled scream.
In such a quiet environment, even half a scream was very clear.
Vivian had screamed because she saw a guard urinating under a tree not far ahead.
Her scream made the guard stop urinating and look around warily.
Although there was nothing but greenery ahead, the well-trained guard instinctively reached for his gun.
