Edward’s men entered the room and made way for Edward, he entered and his eyes were ready to pop.
It was a very small room. What shocked him was the people inside the room. Lee was standing in front of a closed room holding the door, it looked like he was ready to fight till his last breath but he would not let anyone open the door.
Then his eyes fell on the young woman and he was shocked to the core, never in his dreams, he thought of seeing her here and then his eyes fell on the two kids who were sitting on the bed.
His mind was a mess for a few minutes, he had never thought that he would meet her like this, and whose kids are with her, how does she know Lee and where is Elizabeth?
He walked inside and said to the young woman in a polite but cold voice, “What are you doing here?”
She replied coldly, “It had nothing to do with you Edward?”
He looked at the kids and scoffed, “So you got married to someone else?”
She again replied coldly, “It’s none of your business”
He said to young women looking towards Lee, “I will talk to you later” saying that he walked towards Lee.
He stood straight towards Lee and asked, “Why did you do that? Where is my Autumn?”
Lee scoffed and replied, “I don’t know anything, so please leave”
Edward held his collar and ordered his men, “Break this door”
Lee punched hard on Edward’s face making him fall on the ground and he started fighting with Edward’s men stopping them from opening the door.
Edward was shocked to see Lee fighting so skilfully, he defeated all his men just in few minutes, Zack was about to step towards Lee to fight when the door opened from inside and came Elizabeth’s happy voice, “She woke up”
But her face went pale when she saw the condition outside, she was so engrossed in her work inside the room that she was unable to hear anything happening outside.
Edward was unable to understand what is happening here, why he is facing all the unexpected people in this room.
He walked towards the door but Lee stopped him, this time Zack held Lee from his back making him unable to fight and Edward started walking towards the door.
He felt that there was invisible energy attracting him towards that room, he was having many questions in his mind, what Lee is doing, whom he is trying to protect, about whom Elizabeth is talking? Who woke up?
But instead of getting the answers to his questions, he got one more shock which almost slipped the ground beneath his feet.
When he heard Lee growling and struggling in Zack’s grip, “You bastard, don’t you dare go close to my daughter, I will kill you with my bare hands”
Edward and Zack were shocked to hell, everyone knows what happened with Autumn’s parents then how is it possible? How can Lee be Autumn’s father?
Zack was little lost with this shocking revelation and his grip loosened on Lee taking the opportunity Lee freed himself from his grip and charged towards Edward.
He again tried to punch Edward but Edward was fast enough, he caught Lee’s hands, Lee growled like an injured lion, “Leave me you motherfucker because of you my daughter tried to kill herself”
Edward’s body froze, he left Lee’s hands he staggered, and stepped back, what has he done? He brought Autumn to a point where she thought of killing herself.
How will he repent his sins, seeing Edward lost Lee was about to hit him again but Elizabeth stopped him saying, “Lee control yourself”
Lee said angrily, “Mom, really you are trying to protect him because of whom my princess is in this condition”
Lee’s eyes were teary he continued, “I trusted him Mom, but see this the problem with these rich people they can’t keep their dick in their pants”
“My princess never expected anything from him, she loves him more than her life but what she got in return, she gets to know that her husband is fucking his own so-called sister”
“How can he be so shameless, his wife is pregnant and he is fucking around instead of taking care of her, Mom I am never gonna give up on my princess just because he is rich, I will fight against him”
“I will take away my daughter from this dirty place, she is too pure for these dirty people, she had already suffered enough, I will not let her suffer anymore this time”
Unknowingly Lee had tears on his face and Elizabeth was also crying, but Edward’s mind repeating only one line, “His wife is pregnant”
He felt like killing himself at this moment, he forgot about everything around him, he forgot about the fact that Lee was addressing Elizabeth as Mom.
Everyone was lost in their emotions; suddenly Edward took long strides towards the bedroom and locked the bedroom from inside before anyone could stop him.
Lee was about to bang the door when Elizabeth stopped him, “Lee, leave them alone for now”
Lee wanted to retort but Elizabeth didn’t give him any space.
After locking the door Edward saw Autumn lying on the bed, she was awake but still, she looked a little lost as if she was trying to figure out what was going on around her, she looked pale, her lips were dry.
He felt that his feet were too heavy to take steps, he slowly walked towards her, tears were continuously rolling down from his eyes seeing her after so many days and that too in this condition, this was the first time Autumn had seen him crying.
He said standing near the bed, “Ho…how ca…. can…you…d.. do this?”
Autumn was looking at him expressionlessly, he was unable to speak, his body was trembling he was stammering, “Y.. you…could…. have .. p…. punished me…. but…. but…how…could …you …try…. to end…. your…. life”
