Rosiley’s eyes hardened and she said icily, “Let me leave you with a warning as well, celebrities shouldn’t get on the bad side of reporters because we’re always carrying recording devices on us. If you don’t watch your words, you might end up suffering the same fate as Rorey, do you understand?”
Ariella said scornfully, “I’m not as dumb as Rorey.”
“That may be true, but you’re not very smart either. We’re all operating in the same industry, so while some others might not know, I’m well aware of how you managed to land the two roles in the movies you’re starring in this year.”
Ariella visibly deflated and various expressions flitted across her face. She looked a little embarrassed.
“What kind of nonsense are you talking about?” Ariella’s assistant said and stepped forward when she noticed that the conversion was heading into dangerous territory.

“Room 308, Heyuan Hotel, last December. Room 1304, Far East Hotel, this February. Shall I elaborate any further?” Rosiley asked.
Her lips curved into a cold smile when she saw how ashen Ariella looked. “I didn’t mean anything by that statement, but you now have two choices. You can choose to either continue the interview or become my enemy. However, I wonder if you’ll be able to deal with the consequences.”
A heavy silence fell upon the room!
It was so quiet that you could hear a pin drop!
Ariella and her assistant became very flustered and were rendered completely speechless.
Celebrities were terrified of reporters uncovering their secrets, for that might mean the end of everything that they had worked for.
However, this was the situation that Ariella had to deal with.
She had traded sex in exchange for roles in both of her movies, but it was done in a very discreet manner. No one knew about this with the exception of her manager and her trusted assistant.
She didn’t expect Rosiley to hear about it.
She was extremely flustered and even terrified.
Rosiley clocked Ariella’s expression. She didn’t push Ariella any further, but instead, she calmly waited for Ariella to make a decision.
Ariella finally regained her composure some time later and pasted a smile on her face as she said, “Let’s get the interview started.”
“Sure.”
Rosiley let this matter drop when she saw that Ariella had made the sensible choice. She quickly set up the camera and smiled. She then quickly switched into reporter mode and rattled off her first question. “This isn’t your first time working with Times Entertainment, so could you share more about your experience with us?”
“I’m glad for another opportunity to be interviewed by Times Entertainment. I’ve always had a good impression of Times Entertainment. As the leader of entertainment news domestically, I’m impressed by how much Times Entertainment has progressed over the past two years. The reporters are very friendly as well…”
Ariella easily slipped into celebrity mode just as easily as Rosiley switched to reporter mode. Her contemptuous, disdainful, and mean expression was completely wiped from her face. She seemed like a different person as she joked with the reporter and fully displayed her acting prowess.
But it was all a front. They both knew how fake each other’s smiles were.
Rosiley was a very efficient reporter, and she wrapped up the interview in less than an hour’s time.
Ariella didn’t seem to want to spend a minute longer in her presence, so she was very obliging during the interview. She flounced out of the room in a huff without even saying goodbye to Rosiley after the interview ended.
Rosiley wasn’t too bothered by her actions. She quietly packed up and left the room.
Ariella’s assistant caught up to her just before she left the building and said, “Miss Tang, let me know how much you want for the photographs and videos of the incidents you mentioned earlier.”
“Oh, those incidents. I don’t have any photographs or videos. I had been staking out both hotels hoping to get some dirt on Eain Qin on both occasions and happened to stumble upon Ariella, so I didn’t take snap anything,” she said with a bright smile.
She didn’t wait for the assistant’s reaction and quickly left the building.
The assistant stared after her with an ashen expression.
“Dammit, we have been tricked!”
Rosiley’s actions had been utterly despicable!
Rosiley was pleased that she had managed to subdue Ariella this time.
After all that she had been through, it would be virtually impossible for anyone to take advantage of her. This applied to Rorey, Yunis, Ariella… If they dared to bully her, she would strike back even more forcefully.
She had just stepped out of Ariella’s management company when Sachin called and asked, “Are you done with the interview?”
“I would think that you have excellent mind-reading skills if I didn’t know that you already memorized my schedule,” she said with a smile. She sounded very happy.
“I’m doing this to protect you. Then again, it seems like you’ve done a good job of standing up for yourself,” he said.
“Of course. I’ll come to you if I ever need help. Please don’t turn my request down if I ever approach you for help!” Rosiley cleared her throat and tried to mimic Sachin’s voice.
Sachin seemed to be smiling as he said, “Don’t worry. I’m willing to scale mountains that are lined with knives or jump into a fire pit for you in order to fulfill your request.”
“Mr. Lu, you seem to say such honeyed words more easily than before. Don’t let your brother lead you astray. Your aloof and unapproachable image seem like a better fit,” she said.
After she ended the call, she was about to head back to her house when she ran into Yunis.
