Rosiley retrieved her wandering gaze and looked at him.
By this moment, the man had taken off his blazer, leaving just a shirt on. His sleeves were rolled up to his elbows and he had undone the top two buttons, thus exposing his sexy collarbone.
He also wore a pair of gold-framed glasses, which surprisingly added a hint of elegance to his stern and cold look.
Rosiley’s eyes lit up, as she felt that this man was so unbelievably handsome. He could mesmerize her completely, anytime, anywhere.
“Maybe coffee.”
She smiled and went to the sofa to sit down.
Sachin nodded. He pressed a button on the telecom to connect to the inner line and ordered Lane to bring coffee in. He then walked toward Rosiley with a notebook and handed it to her. “I’m going to deal with some work, keep yourself entertained. It’ll take half an hour at most. I’ll come and find you afterward.”
“Okay, go ahead.”
Rosiley nodded obediently and watched Sachin walk back to his desk.
After a while, Lane brought in two cups of coffee.
Lane did not seem surprised by Rosiley’s presence. After putting down the coffee in front of her respectfully, he left.
The office quieted down again quickly with the occasional sound of Sachin flipping through his documents. Rosiley did not disturb him. She opened a browser page silently and started to browse the news on all major news sites and Weibo.
In less than an hour, that news of her and Rorey had already turned into a massive saga.
The scolding came flooding at Rosiley like a surging tide. Her Weibo account was definitely not left alone. There were private messages and comments filled with horrible remarks.
Rosiley looked calm. She did not care as much now as she had in the morning.
She thought, “Let Rorey boast first. The more praises she gets now, the harder she will fall later.”
She wanted to let Rorey know that she was no longer prone to her abuse as and when she liked.
The deceiver will one day be deceived. Eventually, she would reap the fruits that she sowed.
After scrolling for a while more, Rosiley closed the webpage decisively and paid no more attention to it. She turned her gaze slightly and looked at Sachin, who was not far away from her.
