Kihachi’s eyes flickered with a hint of disappointment as he replied, “Thank you, Elder Harrison.”
Holding his beloved’s hand, Kihachi spoke tenderly, “Ariella, you will get better, I promise.”
Just as Kihachi finished speaking, a tear rolled down Ariella’s cheek.
“Ariella, can you hear me?” Kihachi’s eyes turned red, and he held Ariella’s hand tighter, unable to control his emotions.
Amaya, standing by their side, couldn’t hold back her tears.
“Mr. McGuire, let me take a look.” Leo’s eyes flashed with compassion as he spoke.
Kihachi hesitated for a moment, then turned abruptly to Leo and said with a hint of excitement, “Please, Mr. Bloomer.”
Kihachi had witnessed Leo’s miraculous abilities and skills before.
Leo sat down by the bedside and reached out to take Ariella’s pulse.
From the pulse, Ariella’s bodily functions seemed relatively normal.
Then, Leo released his Divine Awareness and scanned Ariella’s brain.
As Leo released his Divine Awareness, Harrison instinctively sensed something and looked at Leo with astonishment.
Kihachi, Amaya, Imogen, and Seiho were puzzled and watched in silence.
Soon, Leo withdrew his hand. Although Ariella had suffered severe brain damage, it was not a problem for Leo to heal her.
“Mr. Bloomer, how is she?” Kihachi asked cautiously.
“The brain tissue has been severely damaged, but it should be treatable,” Leo replied truthfully.
“What? It can be treated?” Everyone was surprised.
“Young man, are you serious?” Harrison looked at Leo with disbelief.
Kihachi and Amaya stared at Leo, thinking they might have been hearing things.
Leo smiled confidently and nodded, “Based on my examination, Miss Adams’ physiological functions are relatively normal. Due to the brain injury, she has entered a special coma state. Once she is awakened, she should recover completely.”
“Leo, please save my mom…” Amaya pleaded, tears welling up in her eyes.
“Don’t worry, now that I’ve intervened, I will definitely wake your mother up.”
“Thank you, thank you so much!” Amaya expressed her gratitude repeatedly.
Leo turned to face the bed, his gaze falling on Ariella. He then raised his right hand and began chanting an incantation.
A faint green light appeared at Leo’s fingertips.
As Leo moved his finger downwards, the green light fell on Ariella’s head like a thread and quickly spread, enveloping her entire head.
After about ten seconds, the green light that enveloped Ariella’s head disappeared as if absorbed by a sponge, entering her brain.
Soon after, to everyone’s astonishment, Ariella’s fingers moved slightly.
“Ariella!”
“Mom!”
Amaya and Kihachi’s faces lit up with joy.
“She actually responded.” Harrison was amazed.
He knew that finger movements were a sign of something significant.
Ariella seemed to have heard Kihachi and Amaya’s calls. Her previously empty eyes flickered and then slowly closed.
“Mr. Bloomer, what…” Kihachi looked at Leo with concern.
“Mr. McGuire, don’t worry. Her consciousness is still deeply asleep. She needs to take another pill to fully awaken,” Leo explained.
“Really? That’s great! Mr. Bloomer, thank you!” Kihachi was overwhelmed with excitement and gratitude.
Amaya couldn’t stop her tears as she approached the bedside and carefully held her mother’s hand. “Mom, can you hear me? You will definitely wake up…”
“Mr. McGuire, I will write a prescription now. Please go and get the medicine. Also, find me a quiet room where I can refine the pill,” Leo said.
The pill Leo wanted to refine was called the Cognition-Restoring Elixir. Once Ariella took it, she should wake up.
Leo quickly wrote down the prescription on a piece of paper and handed it to Kihachi.
Kihachi took the prescription and went to get the medicine himself.
The McGuire family had businesses both domestically and internationally and owned their own pharmaceutical company in Atraria. They produced both traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine.
Besides the financial support from the McGuire family, the various rare medicinal herbs cultivated by them were also a key factor in why the Powers family protected them from behind the scenes.
Kihachi was very efficient in handling matters. In just over ten minutes, he had gathered all the medicinal herbs listed on the prescription.
Under Kihachi’s arrangement, Leo entered a quiet room in the villa.
Summoning the Mystical Sky Bagua-Patterned Alchemical Furnace, Leo began refining the Cognition-Restoring Elixir.
It only took half an hour for Leo to successfully refine the Cognition-Restoring Elixir.
In front of the bed, Amaya held a dark brown pill emitting a strong medicinal fragrance and carefully placed it into Ariella’s mouth.
The Cognition-Restoring Elixir melted upon contact and quickly entered Ariella’s stomach through her esophagus before spreading throughout her body.
Kihachi, Amaya, Harrison, and others present held their breaths and waited for the miracle to happen.
Two or three minutes later, Ariella’s eyelids twitched, and her fingers moved slightly.
Then, her eyes slowly opened.
In her pupils, there was no longer that vacant look from before.
“Mom, you’re awake…” Amaya held Ariella’s hand with tears in her eyes.
“Amaya.” Ariella’s gaze fell on Amaya’s face as she softly called out her name.
“Mom, it’s me. It’s me.” Amaya cried and smiled at the same time.
“Amaya, Kihachi, how long have I been sleeping…” Ariella slowly raised her hand and wiped away the tears on Amaya’s face before shifting her gaze to Kihachi’s face.
“Ariella, as long as you’re awake now, don’t talk too much. Rest more,” Kihachi said excitedly as he tightly held Ariella’s other hand.
“I’ve slept for so long…” Ariella shook her head.
“Okay, no more sleep then. No more sleep,” Kihachi quickly propped up a pillow behind Ariella’s back and helped her sit up halfway.
It was a heartwarming moment for this family of three. Leo, Harrison, and others silently left the room.
“Mr. Bloomer, your medical skills are truly amazing,” Harrison said to Leo in the living room.
Harrison was now very curious about Leo. Being so young yet capable of defeating powerful Hojo Clan ninjas and possessing incredible medical skills made him wonder about Leo’s background.
“Elder Harrison, you flatter me,” Leo replied with a smile.
Then Leo chatted with Harrison for a while before Kihachi and Amaya came downstairs.
Both Kihachi and Amaya had indescribable joy on their faces.
“Mr. McGuire, it’s getting late. I should be leaving,” Leo said as he looked at Kihachi.
“Mr. Bloomer, you have helped my family so much. It wouldn’t sit right with me if you didn’t even have a sip of water. Please allow me to express my gratitude properly; otherwise, I won’t be at ease,” Kihachi insisted.
“Rodolfo, immediately arrange the best guest room for Mr. Bloomer.”
Kihachi turned to the butler and gave instructions.
