“Mr. Mcguire, you and your team can get on the car first. I will handle things here,” Leo said to Kihachi after a moment of thought.
The incident that happened in the hotel hall was not something that ordinary police officers could intervene in.
Although Kihachi didn’t know how Leo would handle it, he nodded in agreement.
After Kihachi and his team went to the parking lot, Leo’s gaze shifted to Theo.
“Mr. Suarez, here are my credentials. Take a look,” Leo handed his WONDER-issued credentials to Theo.
Upon seeing the cover of the credentials, Theo’s expression became serious, and he took them with both hands.
Quickly, Theo examined the credentials and then handed them back to Leo.
“Mr. Suarez, WONDER will handle the situation in the hotel hall. Assign a few special police officers to guard the entrance, and no one is allowed to enter. WONDER personnel will take over later. The rest of the people can disperse,” Leo said directly.
Theo’s expression changed, instantly understanding that something extraordinary had happened inside.
“Yes, our local police will fully cooperate,” Theo nodded in response.
WONDER was an extremely special department in Atraria. Once WONDER personnel presented their credentials, local police forces had to cooperate, and Theo was well aware of this.
Of course, for Theo, it was a good thing that WONDER would take over this hot potato. At least he wouldn’t have to bear any responsibility.
“Captain Jimmy, you take five special police officers to guard the hotel entrance. No one is allowed to enter. The rest of you can withdraw,” Theo instructed the captain of the special police team.
“Yes, Director!”
Leo stepped aside and took out his phone to make a call.
“Hello, Abel.”
“Leo, did you cause trouble again?” Abel’s calm voice came from the receiver.
“I killed a few Orientia ninjas,” Leo said straightforwardly.
“Oh, what happened?”
Leo then briefly explained what had happened in the hotel hall to Abel.
“That’s how it happened. I cut off the ear of the leader of the ninjas, and now he’s on the run. Please send someone to clean up the aftermath,” Leo said before Abel could respond, and hung up the phone directly.
On the other end of the line, Abel held the phone and cursed with a bitter smile, “This brat…”
Putting the phone back in his pocket, Leo headed straight for the parking lot.
In the parking lot, Imogen escorted Coral home while Leo got into Kihachi’s private car and sat in the back seat with Amaya.
After driving for a while, Amaya suddenly asked, “Leo, who was that beautiful woman you were with just now?”
“She’s my boss. Her name is Coral. She’s the CEO of Wilde Jewelry Group, and I’m a gemstone consultant for Wilde Jewelry Group,” Leo replied concisely.
“It seems like she’s more than just your boss… I heard you calling her ‘Coral’,” Amaya teased playfully.
“What are you trying to say?” Leo frowned.
“You’re a married man. For Sophia’s sake, I think you should keep your distance from other women.”
“You don’t need to remind me.” Leo didn’t want to discuss this matter any further because there was nothing between him and Coral.
Seeing Leo’s impatience, Amaya pouted unhappily and stopped pursuing the topic.
After about half an hour, the car entered a mansion near the outskirts of the city.
As night fell, the stone paths in the mansion were brightly lit on both sides.
There was also a large lake in the mansion, peaceful and serene in the darkness.
The car soon stopped in front of a luxurious villa in the center of the mansion under Kihachi’s guidance.
Upon entering the villa, a servant immediately came forward to serve them.
The whole villa hall was decorated luxuriously, with a huge crystal chandelier, soft sofas, white ceilings and walls, a mahogany coffee table, and some large porcelain vases…
Although the overall style was a mix of Chinese and European influences, it was harmonious.
In front of a floor-to-ceiling window in the hall stood an old man with gray hair.
The old man was dressed in white robes and was currently lying quietly on a rocking chair with his eyes closed.
In front of him was a small round mahogany tea table. The fragrance of tea wafted up from it.
Outside the floor-to-ceiling window was a view of the tranquil lake.
As Kihachi and his team entered the hall, the old man slowly opened his eyes and stood up from the rocking chair.
“Mr. Mcguire is back,” the old man said to Kihachi.
“Elder Harrison,” Kihachi spoke with a tone of respect.
“Grandpa Harrison,” Amaya sweetly smiled and called out.
“Amaya,” the old man smiled and showed a hint of affection in his old eyes as he looked at Amaya.
“Elder Harrison,” Seiho respectfully greeted.
The old man nodded and then turned his gaze to Leo. “And who is this…?”
“Elder Harrison, this is Mr. Leo Bloomer, Amaya’s friend and my lifesaver.”
“Mr. Bloomer, this is Harrison Powers, who is responsible for my protection,” Kihachi introduced.
Leo narrowed his eyes slightly as he looked at Harrison.
This Harrison Powers must be from some martial arts family or sect since his cultivation level was at least mid-level Warrior Sect. He must have extraordinary origins.
As Harrison observed Leo, he couldn’t sense any trace of internal energy fluctuations from him. There were only two explanations for this: either this young man’s cultivation level far surpassed Harrison’s own and he could conceal his aura, or this young man was not a Martial Cultivator at all.
Furthermore, considering Kihachi’s status in the secular world and his address to this young man as “Mr. Bloomer,” it was evident that he must be someone out of the ordinary.
“Mr. Mcguire, you mentioned earlier that he saved you. What happened? Did Orientia ninjas target you again?” Harrison asked directly.
Kihachi’s face darkened slightly as he nodded in confirmation.
Seiho stepped forward and recounted what had happened tonight.
After listening to Seiho’s account, Harrison felt a slight shock in his heart and couldn’t help but give Leo several more glances with his old eyes.
He had slain three ninjas from the Hojo Clan and even cut off the ear of their leader!
Such a thing would be hard for Harrison to believe if he hadn’t seen it with his own eyes. But he knew that Seiho would never lie to him.
“The young man’s strength is truly astonishing,” Harrison said as he looked at Leo.
“Elder Harrison exaggerates,” Leo replied simply.
“I wonder which martial arts family or sect you come from?” Harrison hesitated for a moment before asking, unable to contain his curiosity.
“I’m sorry, but I can’t disclose that information,” Leo shook his head in response.
“I apologize for being presumptuous,” Harrison said with a hint of disappointment.
“Elder Harrison, please excuse us for now. Mr. Bloomer, please follow me,” Kihachi said to Harrison before turning his gaze to Leo.
Under Kihachi’s guidance, Leo entered a room on the second floor of the villa.
