“You…” Cindy was furious. “We won’t sign this termination contract. If you have the guts, go ahead and sue us.”
Ranita raised an eyebrow, closed the document, and stood up.
As she walked away, she said, “Since Miss Cindy wants to go through legal procedures, let her face the consequences!”
Martha naturally followed her orders.
“Ranita is going too far!” Cindy pounded the table in anger, while Shannon swept everything off the table with a loud crash and then collapsed, crying loudly.
She had just embarrassed herself!
How dare Ranita call Brendon directly?! And how could Brendon treat her like that… Wasn’t he supposed to dote on her the most?
“Cindy, I want to destroy Ranita!” Shannon’s eyes turned red with anger, unable to calm down. “How dare she! How dare she!”
Cindy saw Shannon losing control and hurriedly tried to comfort her. “Shannon, calm down! Don’t get angry! I won’t let her get away with this.”
“I’ll contact Chole now and ask her to figure out a way to terminate the contract.” Cindy immediately called Chole.
“Miss Bowman, what’s going on over there? How did you go back on your word? Are you being inconsistent now?” Cindy was used to looking down on people and had a very bad attitude when speaking.
Chole wanted to use Shannon to cause trouble for Ranita, but Steland Monolith Technology was her bread and butter.
Before, Shannon was beneficial to Steland Monolith Technology, but now…
“Cindy, where’s Shannon? Let me talk to her personally.” Chole remained calm and gently reassured Shannon. “Shannon, are you okay? Have you seen Ranita?”
Shannon had no objections to Chole. “Chole, I’m fine. I’ve seen Ranita.”
“I will handle the termination matter properly, so don’t worry.” Shannon calmed down and changed her mind.
“Chole, I won’t make things difficult for you.” After a pause, Shannon said, “But it was you who played matchmaker. I hope you will negotiate this matter with us.”
“I believe Steland Monolith Technology doesn’t want things to get ugly with the Murphy family. It will affect all shareholders of Steland Monolith Technology.”
Chole thought for a moment and smiled. “You’re right!”
After leaving Candy Studio, Ranita received a call from Brendon. His voice was husky. “Where are you?”
“I’m outside Candy Studio, about to leave.” Ranita apologized for disturbing him earlier. “I’m sorry.”
“Do we have to be so distant?” Brendon’s voice softened. “Did it upset Shannon?”
Ranita sneered. “Do you care?”
“Not really.” Brendon sighed. “I take back what I said. How about having lunch together?”
Ranita couldn’t be bothered with him. “No, I have things to do.”
“What are you busy with?” Brendon paused and asked again, “How about dinner together? Bring Ayaan along?”
Ranita suspected his motives were impure but found herself strangely in a good mood. She despised herself for it.
“No, not this time. I have a live interview tonight.”
Brendon knew about this and disagreed. “The online buzz is dying down. You don’t need to personally appear.”
Brendon didn’t want Ranita exposed to the public.
It would definitely affect her life. Brendon continued to persuade her. “I’ll make sure Shannon issues a statement as soon as possible. You don’t need to show up.”
