“That was the reason why I behaved that way with both of them… I never had any kind of hatred towards them… it’s just that… I couldn’t find any other way…” She said,
I nodded my head at her while trying to process what she said, “I understand,” I said.
“But… I must say, You two look good together, Panda,” She smiled,
“I’m so happy to see you truly in love,” she said while stroking my hair,
“What? Mom, I’m not in love…” I said while chuckling,
“Nah! I can see it… You fell for her, Panda… stop denying it,” she smiled,
“Love is a blessing… you are lucky to find someone so understanding and selfless… don’t let her go,” she said holding my hands.
“Accept the love you have for her, ” she said pressing her finger over my chest,
“Confess your feelings to her… I say… fall on her feet and beg her to stay with you if it’s necessary,” she said,
“Hey,” I was annoyed,
“Why not… She had been keeping up with a stubborn panda for days now… she deserves to be treated like a real queen for that…” she said, I stared at her in disbelief,
“What? I’m serious… don’t let her go, Panda… she’s a rare gem… keep her and cherish her…” she said,
“This is real love… the feeling you felt with Oliva was just infatuation… but the way I see you with Davina and I know… deep down even you know that you fell for her… but you being you… not accepting it,”
“Mom!” I said in annoyance,
“Okay, okay…” She chuckled,
“Panda, confess your feelings to her before it’s too late…” she said, “She had been through a lot… she needs real love in her life and only you can give that,” she added,
“Allen broke her heart and left a hole in her heart… you have to fill it,” she stated with a saddened expression.
“Promise me, Panda,” she said while placing her palm in front of me,
“Promise me that you will confess your feelings to her and treat her the way she deserves… she may deny that she doesn’t love… but you have to be patient with her,” she asked,
I glanced at her palm and all the things I felt for her rushed to my mind, Yes, I do love her.
“I promise, Mom,” I smiled,
I will never let her go, no matter what. I know she loves me too, I just have to let her confess it. She saw a monster I used to be in the past, now, I will let her see the lover boy side.
Davina’s Pov:-
It has been 24 hours since we travelled back to New York, Nadia went back to her home and promised me that she would visit us every weekend. I realized that she wasn’t the person I thought she was, she had her reasons for her past behaviour. That night, she came to my room and told me everything. I understood her situation and decided to let it be in the past.
As soon as we came back to the mansion, Arthur left for work and I was left alone with April. I showered her and fed her lunch. The whole day I played with her and read stories to her. I kept thinking about him, his words, and his actions in the past few days.
What he said to his dad kept rushing to my mind all the time and I kept wondering whether he really loves me or he just said it. What if he really meant it? A question popped inside my head.
No, he doesn’t… I assured myself and tried to stop thinking about it.

I was climbing down the stairs with April for dinner, I kept looking at the main door wondering why he didn’t come? Where is he? It has been past dinner time and he wasn’t here; I was worried for him.
I pulled the chair and sat down; He would always come back in time! Why isn’t he here yet? I glanced back at the door. Maid served the food for April and was about to serve my plate but I stopped her,
“I’ll have it later,” I smiled, began feeding April and kept glancing at the door,
Where is this man?
I was extremely worried about him, he put Andrew and Samuel behind the bars and there was this constant fear in the back of my head, what if they get out of the jail and come for us? Andrew swore that he would come back and take revenge on me and his words kept ringing in my ears.
I kept glancing at the door while feeding April, what if something happened to him? a thought rushed inside my head.
No, no, maybe he was just busy with work… It has been days that we left New York and there must be a lot of pending work that needed his attention. I think I should wait for him, I thought while feeding April.
I put April to sleep and walked back to the living room, I kept pacing back and forth in the living room while glancing at the clock every now and then. I sighed deeply and pulled the chair out and sat down on it while glancing at the clock. The clock showed its 11:30 pm, I let out a sigh and laid my head on the dining table while staring at the closed door.
Where are you, Arthur? I thought and Unknowingly I slipped into sleep.
