Davina’s Pov:-
“I and Samuel kidnapped them… we held them captive on this island and every day… I took all my anger I had for Jordan on her… I beat her until I saw blood coming out of her body. Trust me, I loved to see her cry… her face always reminded me of her father… it was fantastic to see her cry and plead with me to stop,” He said with a maniac look and happiness on his face.
“Every time I heard her cry… I loved it and I continued to beat her until she lost consciousness… the feel was amazing,” he said,
“When I killed Allen in front of her eyes… the way she cried and begged with me to leave him… God! I felt amazing,”
I stared at him in disgust and disbelief,
“I and Samuel use to confuse them wearing same clothes and lens… they couldn’t even guess who was who?” he chuckled,
“Before all this, Samuel told me that… she used to visit our company to meet You… she got to know about her will and her companies… Samuel overheard her talking about joining the company and taking her position as president of her grandfather’s company…behind my back and… without even telling me and… You! said okay to her…and supported her decision,” He glared at Arthur,
“Arthur appointed Allen to her, he wanted Allen to help her learn the things she must know before taking up the position…” he continued while glancing at me,
“But to our surprise, they both fell in love…and ran away with him on the day of her engagement” he rolled his eyes,
“Anyways, we actually decided to kill her… One day I kept beating her and she went into labour… I stopped and waited for her delivery… I asked my men to leave the baby in an orphanage and came back to kill Olivia,” He continued,
“But before I could do that Samuel stopped me, he discovered the changed will of Olivia… Apparently that bitch changed her will when she was training with that Allen… without anyone knowing about it, and it stated that all her companies, properties and money would go straight to her children,” he gritted his teeth,
“Back to the kid… again,” he rolled his eyes,
“Then, Samuel went back to the orphanage and took the child… for years he hid that kid from everyone… from his own wife, He appointed his men to look after that kid,” He said,
“Where is the child?” Arthur asked,
“Not with us!” he replied,
“That child escaped from us…” He said,
“How ironic…” He chuckled,
“She landed in your arms,” He said looking at me,
“What?” I asked in confusion,
“April… is Olivia’s daughter and sole heir,” he declared,
“What!” I exclaimed in shock,
“Yes… We tried many times to get her but.. you saved her,” He said,
“Remember that accident, I did it… the scandal was also my idea… but both were of no use,” He stated,
The day when I fought with Arthur and walked out of the mansion with April, a truck was about to hit April while we were walking at the side of the road and I saved her from the accident.
“Everything got ruined when YOU! Came in,” I flinched as he yelled pointing his finger at me,
“If you didn’t meet Arthur… I would’ve succeeded in all my plans,” He gritted his teeth,
“I don’t get it… why does it have to be you all the time… Olivia escaped from me and ended up being saved by YOU! Allen’s dead body got found… by YOU!… everything was brought up by YOU!” he yelled,
“I’ll kill you for this,” He said while glaring at me,
I tried my best to control myself but I was scared, Arthur held my hand and squished it, I glanced at him and calmed myself. I can’t believe that he did all this. Arthur’s dad was the one who I saw that day when I found Allen’s dead body.
Hearing his yells, Cops rushed inside and took him away.
“I will be back and I will make sure you suffer for running my plans,” He yelled,
“I will get back to you,” he screamed, I stood up and quickly hugged Arthur, I was beyond scared and I couldn’t just control myself.
“It’s okay,” he said while hugging me back,
“I’m here, It’s okay,” He kept saying which made me a bit relax,
I pulled back and stared at him, he pushed a strand of my hair behind my ear and smiled at me. I turned and noticed Nadia staring at us with a smile on her face.
We were walking towards the main door, climbing the stairs. Cops arrested both Samuel and Andrew for what they did. Arthur told me that they couldn’t get out of jail for the rest of their life, he made sure of it.
After a long day, we are back to our mansion. I never thought that a night would be this terrifying. I could not just get my head out from the fact of Andrew killing innocent people and no one ever suspected him. He killed 4 people, Olivia’s mom, dad, grandfather, and Allen.
I was surprised that Nadia knew what Andrew was doing and was upset about it but couldn’t do anything. He must have threatened her not to open her mouth, it can explain why she kept quiet. Above this, I could see how much she loves Arthur. Even though he hated her for what she did, she never stopped loving him. Now that’s called mother’s love, even though we do things that hurt them badly they will never hate us. Arthur is lucky to have a mother like her, who chose her child instead of herself.
I wish my mother was like that too, I thought while glancing at her.
