Arthur’s Pov:-
I can’t believe what I’m seeing, Samuel? He was the killer?
Jesus Christ!
The anger inside me rose again, I clenched my teeth. How can he do this to her? She was his nephew. She loved him like her father, and I’ve seen him treating her like his daughter.
When Olivia’s parents died Olivia was just 6 years old, her uncle Samuel and Emily took care of her. Since they couldn’t have children, they raised her as their own. I can’t believe he killed her. Olivia always saw them as her parents and loved them more than she loved herself.
Now, he killed her with his own hands and was trying to kill Davina as well.
How dare he?
I marched towards him and punched him right on his face, “Arthur,” Davina gasped and immediately rushed towards me.
“Please calm down,” She said while holding my arm,
I glanced down at her, he was holding on to me tightly and concern was evident in her eyes. Looking at her I tried to control my anger and glanced at him. His face was covered with blood and bruises. The anger I had for him trying to kill Davina was more than for killing Olivia.
I wrapped my arm around her waist and hugged her, a sigh of relief left out of my mouth as I hugged.
She’s alright, that’s all I need.
“Take him,” Coop said,
I turned and glared at him, “Make sure he says everything,” I ordered,
“Yes, Mr. Spencer,” Cop replied and they dragged him out of the room.
“Samuel!” Emily cried as they dragged him out of the room,
“Arthur, Please… stop them,” She cried while turning to me.
“There has to be some misunderstanding… he didn’t…” She sobbed while rushing behind the cops.
We walked behind them, “Arthur, Please…” She sobbed while glancing back at us, I glanced down at Davina and saw tears rolling in her eyes as he stared at Emily.

Emily kept crying and Mom was consoling her, “He can’t do that,” She cried looking at me, “he was her uncle… he loved her,” She said.
“Arthur… we know Samuel… he can’t do something so horrible,” Mom said, “Why are you listening to her,” She said giving a hated look to Davina.
I chose to ignore her and glanced at my phone, I was waiting for Coop’s call and was eager to hit that bastard, Samuel. I was growing curious to know why he did that and what’s the reason behind all this madness.
“Arthur? Are you even listening to me,” I heard mom’s voice, I glanced at her and saw her staring at me.
“Can you please keep your nonsense to yourself,” I said, I glanced at Davina and our eyes met. She had a sad look on her face, it was evident that she was hurt by my mom’s words. I sighed and took her soft hand into mine and squeezed her hand.
My phone suddenly began to ring and I quickly answered it, “Coop?”
“Mr. Spencer, You can come,” he answered,
“Okay,” I hung up and stood up,
“Let’s go,” I said glazing at them,

We were standing in the office, there was a huge mirror in front of us and through it, we could see Mr. Carson questioning him. Samuel had both hands handcuffed and was on the desk. They both were sitting opposite each other. The tension in the air was thick, everyone wanted to know why he killed someone he sees as his daughter.
Mr. Carson stood up from the chair and walked out of the room, he walked towards me and gestured for me to go in. I moved closer to him, “Off it… I don’t want anyone to know what I ask him inside.” I whispered in his ear. He nodded his head and stepped aside.
Coop asked them to step outside and wait, I glanced back at Davina and saw her glancing at me in confusion. After they left the office, I opened the door of the interrogation room and stepped inside. I asked Mr. Carson to turn off the recording of this room till I get all my answers.
I have a doubt, and I need answers for it.
I walked towards the chair and sat down, He glanced at me and looked away. I stared at him in disgust and tried hard not to band his head on the desk.
“Why did you do that?” I asked,
He glanced at me and ignore the question, “Let me ask you one more time… nicely,”
“Why did you kill her?” I asked in a calm tone.
“I didn’t kill her,” he replied,
“… then why were you in Davina’s room?” I asked,
He stared at me blankly and my patience was running out, “If you weren’t the one…” I stood while questioning, “Then… Why were you in her room…” I made my way towards him, “You had a gun in your hands as well,”
I bent down and looked into his eyes, “You are the culprit… You killed Olivia,” I said.
I noticed the fear in his eyes, he gulped and looked away. I grabbed a fist of his hair and banged his head on the desk hard.
“Ah!” he screamed in pain,
“Tell me!” I yelled in anger,
“Yes!” He cried,
“I killed her,” he sobbed, blood was running down from his head as he cried in agony.
“Why?” I asked while gritting my teeth in pure rage,
“I had no other choice…” He sobbed,
Hearing his words something hit my mind, and I quickly asked the question, “… Are you the one who held her captive?”
As I asked him, he began to cry harder, “Tell me,” I yelled in pure irritation. He kept sobbing in pain and wasn’t answering my question which made me extremely irritated and impatient.
“Tell me you bastard,” I shrieked in rage,
“Did you kill her child and tortured her for years?” I yelled,
“Answer me,” I yelled,
“Noooo” He scrammed while shaking his head,
I stared at him in confusion, “I didn’t do that…” He sobbed,
I fisted my palm and slammed it on the desk in pure rage, “Fuck!” I groaned and ran my fingers through my hair in frustration.
I have to get to the bottom of this, I made a promise to Davina and I have to keep it no matter what.
Calm down, Arthur.
You need to handle him carefully and bring the truth out of his mouth.
I took a deep breath and pulled the stool towards him, I glanced at him while sitting down and controlling myself.
“Samuel, If you didn’t kidnap her and held her captive… then who did?” I asked while trying to stay calm.
“I can clearly see that… you knew she was kidnapped and held captive for years… you are also involved in it… otherwise you wouldn’t kill her,” I said,
“You were scared… She told me that she had dreams… She can remember a few things from the past and she was about to tell me about them in the morning… but we found her dead,” I noticed the way he was avoiding eye contact.
“You killed her… because you were scared that she would recognise you and would tell me about it! Aren’t you?” I asked,
He kept quiet, “Answer me,” I grit my teeth,
He gulped hard and glanced at me, “Y-yes,” He replied.
