“Cindy, stop teasing me!” Shannon blushed and bit her lip, saying, “Ranita is here.”
“Ranita is not a stranger. She knows Mr. Stuart is happy, so she must be wishing you well, right?” Cindy looked at Ranita with undisguised disdain.
Indeed, like master, like dog. Shannon acted that way, and her subordinates had the same distorted values.
“Ranita, don’t listen to Cindy’s nonsense. Actually, nothing happened between Brendon and me. He was just comforting me because I was upset. I couldn’t sleep well all night due to my emotional state.”

“You wanted to tell your story, right? It’s boring when only one person talks. Isn’t it more exciting when both parties are present?” After a pause, Ranita asked the phone, “Mr. Stuart, I heard you had a very enjoyable time with Miss Murphy last night. Do you want to share it with me?”
There was silence on the other end of the phone for a few seconds before the man’s voice came through softly, “Ranita, who told you that? It’s utter nonsense!”
