In the house of Camila, the Narrator:
Camila, since she gave Mirelys her jewelry and the bonds she held from the country’s oil industry, had not seen her again. She had not even called him. She was being attended by the nurse, hired by her son.
“It is strange that Mirelys has not come in all these days, she has not even called me. She promised to accompany me to therapies and rehabilitation” thought this one, sad to see that no one had come to visit her, not even Diana, nor her grandchildren.
Camila, always arrogant and proud, felt weak, lonely and depressed, seeing herself abandoned by her family. It seemed that everyone was waiting for any excuse to separate from her, especially in this condition she was in.
-What’s the matter, ma’am? -asked the nurse, seeing that tears were flowing towards her ears, because of the upright position in which she was lying.
-Nothing! None of my children or my sister has called? -she asked, with a hint of sadness.
-I’m sure it’s because they are very busy at the farm, but, if you want, I’ll call them? -asked the nurse, following the instructions of Anastasia and Rafael, who called every day, but demanded that she not inform Camila about this.
-No, don’t worry, I won’t be long to recover! And this depression I feel will pass,” she said, wiping her tears with a handkerchief she held in her hands.
In this house, large, comfortable and spacious, there was a small garden, which in turn served as a terrace, where she spent most of her time. It was a one-story house, very different from the mansion where she had spent most of her life, since she married the father of her children.
These days have helped Camila to reflect on Mirelys’ behavior. Mirelys had assured her that she would keep her company so that she would not miss any of her children, but apparently, they were only words, because neither she nor Chepa have called or visited her again.

“What if they just wanted to take advantage and own my money? They owe me a fortune.”

“These, they have always been with me. They are my faithful friends, I shouldn’t distrust them,” he finally thought, trying to reject this thought, which was becoming more and more frequent.
At the Zambrano mansion, the Narrator:
-Mirelys How is it possible, that you squander a fortune like that? Is it that you do not reflect on your future? -questioned her mother, talking to her on her cell phone.
-Enough with the sermons, mom! That fortune was neither yours nor mine, but Camila’s, so why shouldn’t I enjoy it?
I’ll take it as a reward for all the humiliations and put-downs your son did to me,” she said, smiling, about to get on a yacht she had rented for a trip to the Caribbean Islands.
-I don’t know what’s on your brain, Mirelys? Well, that’s up to you. When you run out of money, don’t even think of coming looking for me,” her mother said.
-What have you heard from Reyner? -She asked, before hanging up the call.

In the port of Ciudad La Rosa, the Narrator:
-What do you mean, Rafael’s wife? When did she get married? I am sure that she said it that day, to disturb Camila and me,” Mirelys said aloud, offering her hand to her new friend, who will accompany her on this journey.
Mirelys, sheathed in a red two-piece bathing suit, which did not cover much of her body, jumped from the shore of the port, to the yacht, which she rented for fifteen days. She will take a tour with her new acquaintance through some Caribbean Islands.
-Are you ready to leave, Captain? -he asked, who up to now has only been able to enjoy the splurges she makes.
-Yes! I have just left all problems, worries and disturbances at the port, so let’s enjoy our voyage,” she ordered, approaching him, clinging to his neck and kissing him passionately, giving the order to weigh anchor.
Simultaneously, in the discotheque, the Narrator:
