Book:Fated To The Ruthless Alpha King Published:2024-6-8

“Killian?”
“Yes, mistress?”
“Is everything ready?”
“Everything has been arranged as you ordered, mistress. All members of our team have been positioned and there is a sound vehicle waiting for us at the border.”
“Have you double checked to ensure that the coast is clear? No one watching or observing us?? I don’t want a repetition of what happened the last time!”
“Everything is clear, mistress. I have ensured that nothing will stop us this time around.”
“Good, then let’s get going.”
As Samara left the packhouse with her assistant and ran through the fields with her wolf, her heart raced along with its pace. The last time she tried something like this, it didn’t end well. She had to do a lot to cover her tracks, including killing one of her most loyal men. Raymond’s death pained her so much, but sacrifices just had to be made to keep their plans in check. This time, nothing will stand in her way. This mission had been long due.
Walden and Damian had returned back from the red moon pack this evening, and Damian didn’t spend any more time as soon as he arrived, picking up Miranda so they could both return together. Now that the investigation was complete, nothing stood in Samara’s way again. This was the perfect night to carry out their mission, as Walden was in bed now, resting from the tiresome journey, he wouldn’t think nor bother to ask about her for now. She would ensure to be quick to be back by tomorrow morning, as she didn’t want her absence to be noticed by anyone who wasn’t working with her.
By midnight, Samara and Killian had reached their destination, the great castle of king Rakur in the rogue territory. They were apprehended by the guards at the gate and after being thoroughly searched, they were brought in chains into the court of the king they wished to see.
“Who are you? State your mission here.” The king ordered.
“We come in peace, sire. My name is Samara, and I am a high-ranking officer of the night shadow territory.”
Rakur furrowed his brow. “The time and manner in which you came here tells me that you do not wish for your intentions to be known to many.”
Samara nodded. “We are off to a great start then sire, I’m sure you might already have an idea of what it is I came here for.”
“Not exactly, and you should know that I do not take kindly to unwelcome visitors, especially the one who makes me leave my bedroom so late at night. You’d better begin to state your mission now that you still have my patience.”
“Very well sire. My assistant and I came here to propose an agreement with you sire.”
“What sort of agreement is this?”
“I have plans to overthrow the leadership of three different territories all at once, with your help.”
“What territories are these?”
“The silver, the lotus and of course, the one which I currently belong to, the night shadow territories.”
Silver. Of all things this lady had just said, only one word got his full attention. The silver alpha. The one who killed his beloved Ronan. King Rakur already knew that this was a plan he would like.
“Why do you want to kill these leaders?”
“The same reason you want to see the silver king dead; revenge. The lotus princess killed my companions’ only son, and her husband, the silver alpha, protects her like gold. We cannot kill her without getting rid of him first. So then, we wish to see them all killed.”
“Samara… You are an officer of the night shadow territory?”
“Yes sire. My late father was the former beta to alpha Derick.”
“It seems as if your family has close ties with that of the alpha. I understand your hatred for the lotus and silver terrains, but why would you wish for your leader to perish?”
“Apart from being close family friends, I share no emotional ties with the alpha, and I want him dead for the same thing a mighty king such as yourself craves so much.”
“Which is?”
“Power. I have plans to kill the silver alpha and the lotus princess, as well as the night shadow alpha, and take over all his forces. I have his full support and trust, he thinks I am on his side, so taking him down will not be hard for me.”
“So why do you need my help then? If you can kill him, why not take over the forces and go up against the silver and lotus packs on your own?”
“Because of the rogue wars. We know that you intend on attacking the packs soon, and all packs are avoiding irrelevant wars so they can ready their forces for your army. If I overtake the night shadow throne and try to spring an attack on two packs at once, the circle will not defend me.”
“So, you need me to help you kill the lotus and silver leaders?”
“Yes, sire.”
“You’d be a fool to come here asking me for help without offering me anything.”
“Of course, sire. I would be a big fool to think like that.”
His greedy eyes shone, “So, what’s in it for me then?”
“The silver pack’s alpha. His throne, his properties, the royalty stone, and his head on a gold platter, all in exchange for your son’s life.”

Katrina needed this. Fresh air, different environment, clean surroundings, fine house. She’d never felt this way in a long time and was grateful to Renard for his help in her recovery.
Ding-diiiiiing….
She’d been so buried in her thoughts that she didn’t even notice that the door bell sounds had been echoing though the halls of the small apartment. She got up from the couch then and went to the security system to see who was standing outside.
It was Renard.
Speak of the devil and here he comes. She was in a lightened mood, she hasn’t seen anyone nor gone out since the time she came here, as everything she needed was right in the house. Somehow, she felt comforted in her solace, even though she missed the noise and bustle of the silver packhouse.
He met her with a smile as she opened the door to let him in.
“Hello Katrina.”
“Hello, Renard.”
