Ahaltyrja Gold Horse lived up to its name. At the wave of the starting flag, it shot forward like an arrow.
Layla rode with grace and power, her noble demeanor drawing gasps from the crowd.
“Who says there’s no perfect woman in the world?”
“Isn’t Miss Woods one? Looks, figure, family background, ability, skills, connections-she has it all!”
“I can’t imagine which man could match Miss Woods. He’d have to be at least the heir of a super-elite family or a figure like the God of War!”
“A woman with such regal aura, her brilliance blinds men. I’m truly impressed!”
The onlookers marveled at Layla’s elegant and powerful figure as she rode away.
In their hearts, they could only think-such a woman belongs in the heavens, rarely seen on earth.
Meanwhile, the white horse remained at the starting line, unmoving.
“Flynn, hurry up and let me down to chase! Miss Woods is already hundreds of meters ahead!” Scarlet said anxiously.
Flynn remained unconcerned:
“No rush, let her run a bit more.”
Hearing Flynn’s words, everyone shook their heads disdainfully.
“Riding double on one horse and not moving at all-I think he knows he’s going to lose and doesn’t want to embarrass himself.”
“I thought he had some hidden card up his sleeve. Turns out it’s just talk.”
Amidst the mocking and ridicule, Flynn’s face remained indifferent. He turned to Molly:
“Want to join in?”
Molly was slightly taken aback and replied indifferently, “I don’t need you to worry about me. Just start the race!”
The two never got along. She didn’t understand Flynn’s sudden enthusiasm.
When she noticed Flynn’s gaze sweeping over her chest, she instantly understood.
Molly’s face turned cold. She turned away from Flynn and hid behind the white horse, glaring at him with hostility.
“Alright then!” Flynn lost interest immediately. His muscles bulged as he slapped the white horse’s hind leg hard.
With a loud crack, the white horse stiffened. Its muscles suddenly swelled, and it became extremely excited.
After a loud neigh that echoed across the racetrack, the white horse bolted forward.
“Hold tight! I’m going to sprint!” Flynn grinned as he pulled on the reins.
Scarlet was jolted by the white horse’s sudden movement and fell into Flynn’s arms.
“Wow! So hard!”
Scarlet collided with Flynn’s chest and felt his muscles were as solid as a wall-firm and broad.
“He couldn’t stand our mockery after all; he’s finally moving.”
“Miss Woods is already five hundred meters ahead; he’ll never catch up.”
“He’s probably just doing a symbolic lap. When he loses, he’ll just talk his way out of it.”
Seeing Flynn holding a beauty in his arms with a carefree attitude made everyone laugh even harder.
Layla glanced back coldly, squeezed her horse’s belly tightly, flicked the reins, and shouted sternly: “Go!”
Even when they started together, Flynn wasn’t her match. Now that she had a five-hundred-meter lead, victory was assured. A cold smile appeared on her lips.
She didn’t just want a simple win. She wanted to create enough distance so she could watch Flynn struggle from the finish line-that would be the ultimate humiliation for him.
“Yes! Just like that! Teach that disgusting man a lesson!”
“Miss is so cool! Absolutely stunning!”
Kimber cheered loudly for Layla as she sped up instead of relaxing.
However, she soon frowned. In her sight, the white horse carrying two people was rapidly catching up like a cannonball thundering across the ground.
Mud splattered from its hooves as if it were about to take flight-it moved so fast it became a blur!
In just one minute, the distance between the two horses shrank to two hundred meters!
Seeing such terrifying speed from the white horse left everyone speechless with amazement.
That beast was too fierce; it was hard to tell which were its front legs and which were its back legs!
Layla remained unfazed. True horsemanship required unity between rider and horse. Initially controlling speed ensured endurance. If one exerted full strength from the start, they would be exhausted halfway through-like an athlete running three thousand meters where pacing was crucial.
Flynn had pushed his horse hard from the beginning; surely it wouldn’t maintain this speed for two thousand meters. Dream Club’s racetrack was six thousand meters long!
Flynn remained unhurried. His right hand stayed on the horse’s hindquarters as if fueling it; instead of slowing down, its speed increased!
“My god! That white horse is carrying two people yet runs so fast-what a monster!”
“The two riders are impressive too! The horse takes such large strides yet they remain steady!”
“The girl is struggling; it’s all thanks to that man named Flynn-he’s controlling everything! Without him, even if that horse were a dragon, it wouldn’t reach its potential!”
Exclamations filled the air as everyone watched in awe as the gap between horses narrowed further.
Two hundred meters.
Fifty meters.
The white horse thundered across with two riders like an artillery shell hitting ground-creating gusts of wind in its wake.
Layla could even hear its snorting breath; her expression grew more serious by each second.
This race had completely defied her expectations. The white horse hadn’t undergone any training and was carrying two people!
Molly was equally astonished by both its explosive power and Flynn’s control over it-even if you had a sports car without skilled handling-it wouldn’t outperform an ordinary vehicle!
Moreover Layla wasn’t lacking in skill either-highlighting Flynn’s unparalleled ability!
This man was incredible!
“We’ve caught up!” Scarlet exclaimed seeing both horses neck-and-neck-her eyes filled with shock.
From being five hundred meters behind while carrying two people-they had finally caught up!
Flynn looked relaxed while Layla’s face turned stern-Kimber stood frozen unable to cheer anymore-their eyes filled with deep astonishment and disbelief.
The white horse had covered four thousand meters already-even top-notch horses would struggle at this distance-but Flynn’s mount showed no signs of fatigue-instead galloping faster than ever before!
This was beyond comprehension-it defied belief!
“I’ll wait for you at finish line,” Flynn said nonchalantly before surging ahead-the white horse shot forward like a meteor-the wind blowing Layla’s hair wildly-
One hundred meters ahead.
Three hundred meters.
One thousand meters!
No one spoke-they watched dumbfounded as Flynn widened his lead until crossing finish line-leaving everyone stunned-their jaws dropped-
Layla had lost!
