She thought she would wait for the wind to settle down, and move after some time but little did she know that as it was a high-end society their security was also very tight.
The moment she started walking on the edge of the wall, security guards had already informed Daniel about it.
Daniel was so scared seeing the video which the security team sent them, he was sweating all the way to home, by how the emergency rescue team was already on the premises.
Now Mili was also scared to hell she never thought that this action would get so much attention.
Soon Daniel reached home, he ran towards the balcony and saw Mili standing a little far from the balcony he shouted out, “Mili, what the hell are you doing?”
Mili got scared because of sudden shouting, she looked at him and unknowingly tears rolled down her cheeks.
Her tears faded away, Daniel’s anger and he said gently, “Baby, please come back, what are you doing?”
“You know it’s risky, baby please give me your hand and slowly and walk towards me”
Mili nodded negatively like a kid and said, “No, you will again lock me in this house, I will run away from here”
Daniel’s anger and worry both were rising, he controlled his emotions and said, “Baby, I promise I will not lock you, please hold my hand and walk towards the balcony”
Mili’s eyes lit up with hope and she asked excitedly, “Promise, you will not lock me in this house?”
Daniel assured her and said, “I promise I will do whatever you will say, but please walk towards me baby”
Mili was in thoughts for some time and she smiled at Daniel and started walking slowly towards the balcony.
Daniel smiled, but deep down he felt guilty because he knew that he was not going to fulfill his promise at all.
He just wanted to make sure she was safe. After that he will cut her wings.
Soon Mili’s hands touched Daniel’s hand which he was stretching to hold her hands and the moment her hands were in his hands he sighed in relief.
The moment she entered the balcony safely, he hugged her tightly. He doesn’t have words to describe how worried he was.
He kissed her forehead but Mili’s next words again triggered his anger, “Don’t pretend like you love me or care for me”
Daniel wanted to hit her at this moment but he knew the moment he did that his own father would take away Mili from him.
Because Alex could never tolerate hitting women. He held back his anger and caressed her hair and asked gently, “Are you hungry?”
Poor Mili believed his words and nodded saying, “Yes I am very hungry”
Daniel smiled, kissed her forehead, and said you go and freshen up and by the time I will order from take away.
Mili nodded happily and went to the bathroom. Daniel smirked, ordered some pizza for both of them and before Mili could come back he mixed sleeping pills in her juice and made a call to his assistant.
Mili came after some time and sat on the dining table happily. She had already made up her plan that she will go to meet Alexa and Carol after lunch, before leaving the city.
She missed them, they were her first friends in her life.
She asked Daniel, “Can I go to meet Alex and Carol after finishing this?”
Daniel looked at her and said coldly, “First finish this after that we will see”
Mili nodded happily and finished her pizza, she was about to get up and but Daniel said in a stern tone sliding a glass of the juice in front of her, “Finish this first”
Mili replied immediately, “No, I am full…I ”
Daniel cut her off and said in a mocking tone, “Finish this then only you can go outside, and you need energy after the stunt you have performed”
Mili didn’t say anything and finished the juice immediately. After that, she went back to her bedroom to comb her hair.
Daniel was just looking at her actions, just after a few minutes she came out and was about to open the door but she felt a little dizzy.
Her legs were staggering, she held the wall immediately. Before she falls Daniel immediately picks her up in his arms bridal style and takes her to his bedroom.
Mili wanted to struggle but she felt like someone had sucked all energy from her body and she just wanted to sleep and regain her energy.
The moment her head hit the hay she fell into a deep sleep. Daniel smirked and tugged her properly in the duvet and left the room.
He slowly closed the door of his bedroom and walked out to open the main door where few people were already waiting for him.
Daniel thought that he was able to hide this incident from his family, but there was someone who knew what happened today and that was James.
He didn’t tell about this incident to anyone including Alexa but he had made up his mind that he will give Daniel some time to settle everything between him and Mili and if he fails then James has to take action.
On the other hand, Carol was depressed these days, because from the day Catherine died Lucas’s attitude changed.
He was always lost in thoughts; he would come home late and leave early in the morning.
He hardly spends time with girls, every morning he will kiss the girls’ forehead and leave for the office.
He will hardly talk to Carol or even look at her.
Carol thought that he loved Catherine truly so her death impacted her a lot. Indeed, you can never forget your first love.
She always tried to hold her tears thinking Lucas loved Catherine so much that even after what she did, he is still sad about her death.
Days were passing but nothing changed.
On the other hand, when Mili opened her eyes, it was already dark outside.
She slowly sat on the bed holding her head, as she was feeling heavy-headed.
