It was too much for everyone to digest, everyone understood why Mili left, she was ready to sacrifice her life rather than harming anyone.
James said assuring Alex, “Don’t worry Dad this time she won’t be able to come out of prison”
Alex nodded and everyone walked out of the church and Daniel was holding Mili’s hand so tightly that it started paining but his hold didn’t loosen.
Alex came to his car and found Alice sitting in one corner and crying, he sat next to her and pulled her in his arms and said patting her back, “Honey, please don’t cry like this you know it hurts me seeing you like this”
Alice said sobbing, “Toni, I still miss her”
Alex tried to console her but deep down he knew that he also misses their unborn daughter.
The private jet of Williams and Millers were already waiting for them and they all flew back home.
One thing that changed about Daniel in this one month and he started working with Lucas, he wanted to have a peaceful life like Lucas.
He had made up his mind that once he found Mili he wanted to have a lot of kids with her and work with Lucas and learn the business.
Everyone reached their home but Daniel took Mili to one of his apartments in a very high-end society.
All the time both of them didn’t speak anything but Daniel’s hold never left Mili’s wrist. He was very angry; he was not able to think clearly from the moment when he saw her standing in front of that fat man as his bride.
The moment they entered the house he dragged Mili to their bedroom and threw her on the bed.
Mili was scared; she had never seen Daniel like this. In the past, he was always caring and loving towards her but now he is different.
Mili understood what’s going to happen next, she immediately said mustering some courage “You said you will never force me”
Daniel hovered over her and said grinding his teeth, “Mili Daniel William, I will still not go back on my words but remember that from today onwards you are not allowed to leave this house”
“This is your world, this is where you belong and if you dared to try to escape remember one thing I WILL FUCKING BRING YOU BACK FROM HELL ALSO”
Saying this he left and was about to leave the bedroom when Mili asked, “Where are you going at this hour of night? It’s already late”
Daniel turned slightly and said angrily but calmly, “You lost that right of yours to ask me about my whereabouts”
“And don’t show me your fake love, I will not fall for it again” saying this he left the room.
Mili was unable to hold back her tears which she was holding for so long. If he hates her then why did he marry her, why is he caging her? He was the one who cheated on her on their engagement night.
That was the reason she decided to leave but why is he behaving as he loved her very much, she doesn’t remember when she dozed off tired of crying.
The next morning when Mili opened her eyes, she felt a little better. She thought that she will talk to him and will end this all nonsense and free both of them from this fucking marriage.
She was surprised to see the cupboard filled with girl’s dresses, she smiled bitter thinking it must be for the girls whom he brought here to fuck.
She pulled out a simple white frock and went to take a bath, after coming out she started looking for the kitchen because she was damn hungry.
She hasn’t had anything since yesterday, she saw the kitchen and was about to reach it when the door of the other room opened and Daniel came out wearing a black shirt under a black blazer.
He was looking very handsome, she looked at him and was about to open her mouth, he just walked out of the room and left the house.
Mili sighed and made some light breakfast for her, after filling her stomach, she thought she would call her grandma but at this moment she realized that she doesn’t have her phone.
She thought she would go out and buy a phone, so she walked towards the main door and tried to open the door but it was locked.
She was shocked Daniel actually locked her inside this house. Her eyes again filled up with tears, she doesn’t understand why he is doing that, he clearly loves Miranda then why torturing her like this.
Why can’t he let her go and stay happily with Miranda? Mili made up her mind she is not some weakling girl, she will jump out of the balcony.
She immediately ran towards the balcony, but her blood froze when she saw that she was on the tenth floor of the building.
But still, she was determined to leave this house; she was looking down making calculations to get down from the tenth floor. She never had a fear of height.
She remembered seeing many people doing such things on TV. She looked around for ten minutes and soon she found the way. She can slowly get down from her balcony and with the help of a window on the floor below, she can get on the ninth-floor balcony.
And slowly like these, she will be able to reach the ground floor; the feeling of being free gave her more motivation fading away from the little fear she had.
She thought after her escape she would go directly to her hometown and leave to some other city with her grandmother.
She slowly crossed the glass barrier of the balcony and started moving right on the small wall, sticking her whole body to the wall to get above the window of the ninth floor.
But it was so windy that she was unable to move much; now she was kinda stuck. She was unable to move back to her balcony because of too much wind.
