Carol replied trying to cover her nervous feelings, “I me…. mean, w………we are in car”
Lucas pulled her closer and said huskily, “That means we can do it at home”
Carol’s face turned red in shyness. Soon they reached home and Lucas picked Carol in his arms princess style before entering the house.
The lights of the house were off and it was dark everywhere and pin-drop silence in the whole mansion.
The moment Lucas entered the living room, all the lights of the mansion lit up and everyone shouted in excitement, “Happy Married Life”
Lucas and Carol smiled ear to ear seeing all their loved ones in front of them, they all were very happy for them.
Ava and Mia were also dressed in party wear, Lucas said, “Ok give my wife some time to get ready” saying he walked towards his bedroom holding Carol in his arms.
Carol was continuously telling him to put her down but he loved holding her in his arms.
Once they reached their bedroom, Lucas gently made Carol stand and said, “Honey get ready fast and wear that dress” he said pointing towards a dress that was already on the bed.
Carol nodded and went to the bathroom; Lucas also went to the bathroom of another room and got ready.
When he came back to his bedroom he saw Carol standing in front of the mirror and combing her hair.
Lucas came and stood behind her and started trailing wet kisses on her bare neck as she was wearing an off-shoulder dress and mumbled, “Let’s skip the party for and start our wedding night”
Carol’s breathe hitched hearing wedding night, although they had done sex earlier but today it was different, it was their wedding night. Now they are husband-wife, they are tied for their whole life.
Carol tried to change the topic because his touch was doing something to her, “Ho.. how am I looking?”
Lucas left her neck and turned her around now she was facing him, he said taking her hands in his hands and sliding a big diamond ring, “You look marvellous, I was nervousness at the time of proposing you thinking you are going to deny to my proposal and I forgot about the ring I bought for you”
Carol’s eyes were teary not because of the diamond ring but because of his words, ‘he was nervous’, he is someone who can get anything and he was nervous about losing her.
She felt so special at this moment.
He wiped her tears and said kissing her head, “Now I don’t want to see these tears in your eyes”
They both went downstairs and saw the whole family busy talking to Ava and Mia who were in the cradle.
They saw Alex was saying, “Baby say grandpa, I am your grandpa, cool grandpa”
Daniel said mocking him, “Seriously Mr. Alexander you call yourself cool, I still wonder what my Mom saw in you that she married you, she could have waited for me”
Alex was annoyed, “Idiot you are here because of me”
Daniel rolled his eyes saying, “whatever”
James was whispering something in Alexa’s ear because of which she was blushing.
When everyone noticed Lucas and Carol they all came and hugged them one by one and wished them.
Alexa said, “For the first time I am proud of you, you have taken right decision”
Lucas frowned and said, “Dad you are not happy for my achievements in business”
Alex rolled his eyes and said, “You have my jeans, so you have inbuilt business tactics in you but you were very bad in your love life”
Lucas knew what his dad was referring to, but he didn’t get upset with his Dad’s words. He kissed Carol’s forehead and said, “I agree with you dad”
Dylan was also there he hugged Alex and said, “Congrats, brother-in-law” and then he was about to turn to hug Alica but as usual Alex pulled her in his arms and said sternly, “Stay away from my wife”
Dylan rolled his eyes and said, “Bro we are old now”
Alex said, “I don’t care, no other man can touch my wife” he said this statement looking at Daniel.
Daniel got his message he left Mili’s hands and walked to Alice and kissed on her cheeks and ran away and said hiding behind Carol, “See old man, I kissed your wife in front of you and you can’t even do anything”
Everyone was laughing and Alex was feeling irritated. Dylan turned towards James and Alexa and said, “You two when are you going to make me grandpa?”
James said leaning against near Alexa’s ear, “See, I was telling you to give me lovely daughters’ life Ava and Mai”
Alexa retorted, “What if we have boys?”
James replied normally as if he was telling a very normal thing, “We will exchange it with Ava and Mia, I want only daughters in my home, a lot of. I want to have a women basketball team”
Alexa’s eyes were wide open listening to James’s thoughts and the word “BASKETBALL TEAM” was ringing in her mind.
Mili was watching everyone, she loved this family. She was sitting next to Ava and Mia’s cradle and playing with them saying, “Sweethearts, I am your god mother and …”
She was cut off by the ring of her phone when she noticed the number, it was the vicious woman calling, she sneaked out of the living room and went to the garden away from the living room.
She picked the call and there came the mysterious woman’s voice, “You are going to get engaged to that Daniel in one week, and you haven’t done your work till now”
“You remember that if you fail, you know your life will be living hell”
Mili said hesitating, “Yes, I know I will finish my work in time”
“That will be better for you” saying that the woman hung up the call.
Mili was standing there dumbstruck, tears dwelled up in her eyes, she didn’t want to hurt this sweet family.
Suddenly she felt someone hugging her from behind and she immediately understood it was Daniel. She controlled her tears and tried to smile, turning back.
Daniel said kissing her forehead, “Honey, I can’t wait anymore to make you my wife”
