She doesn’t know how grateful he is to her, it was easy for him to move on after Catherine’s betrayal or maybe it was easy because he had never loved her truly and always tried to be a good husband doing all the things which can make her happy.
But he knows he can never move on from Carol, many times he feels Carol runs like blood in his body.
He picked Carol in his arms and brought her inside and gently laid her on the bed, he slipped next to her, held her in his arms, and slept hugging his most precious treasure.
The next morning when Carol’s sleep broke because of some sound, the sound which she loves the most, her daughter’s laughing sound echoed in the lounge.
When Carol opened her eyes she found her daughter lying next to her and laughing seeing Lucas making different faces.
Ava and Mia were so close to their dad, they are always laughing happily when Lucas is around, Carol many times feels jealous of Lucas.
She was the one who kept them in her belly for nine months and bears that unimaginable pain but they are close to Lucas.
Carol immediately sat and took Ava and Mai in her arms and kissed their whole face. She missed them so much, they both got eye color like Lucas but their other feature is just like their mother.
Carol was so happy she was playing with Ava and Mai, they were also very happy seeing their mother after so many days.
Lucas was trying to work in his office but the sound of Carol playing with Ava and Mai were coming from his office lounge and making it hard for him to concentrate on his work.

Carol was trying to cut the time by reading the book when Alexa and Mili entered the office lounge smiling ear to ear.
Carol was very happy seeing them, Mili said, “Come on get ready we are going for shopping”
Carol said helplessly looking at Alexa, “Your brother wouldn’t allow me to move out of this room”
Alexa said smiling, “Don’t worry he is not here, we can escape”
Carol got excited listening to Alexa’s idea, she thought that finally, she could escape from this room.
Carol got ready immediately and three of them went out of the lounge, three of them came out of the reception, Alexa and Mili said, “We will get the car you stay here”
Carol nodded, she thought by the time she would walk towards the road, but she was utterly shocked seeing the view in front of her eyes.
The whole media was standing there and the place was crowded, and suddenly she saw a luxurious car come and stop in front of her.
And Lucas came down, wearing a navy blue tuxedo, he looked very handsome.
He walked towards Carol who was standing there dumbstruck, he went on his knees and said, “Carol, I have never done this, I am very bad with words, but I know my feelings for you, can you please consider my feelings and accept me as your husband. I love You Carol Mittal”
People started hooting, and cheering up saying, “Say Yes”, “Say Yes”
Carol’s eyes were tearing up, but she was still not sure about her feelings.
She knows she feels something for him but she is not sure whether it’s love or just infatuation.
She opened her mouth to say, “I want some time to think” but as if Lucas can read her thoughts he immediately stood up and sealed her lips and said between the kiss, “I told you last time only, that you are mine now, now no more going back”
All the media reporters were clicking their photos, it was big news that the older son of Williams proposed to a girl.
Saying this he deepened the kiss, Carol was so happy that he proposed to her but even after proposing to her his dominating behavior was not left behind.
After kissing her wholeheartedly he let her go and held her wrist and started walking towards his car.
At this moment Carol saw that her mother and Lucas’s whole family were also there, Alexa James and Mili, and Daniel was also there smiling ear to ear. She understood Alexa and Mili were part of this plan.
She asked Lucas, trying to pull her hands back, “Where are we going?”
Lucas turned and said smiling, “To register our marriage”
Carol was startled she said, “But don’t think it is too early”

Carol was pushed inside the car and Lucas sat next to her and the driver started the car.
Soon they reached in front of the marriage registrar’s office, there were also a lot of media people waiting.

Lucas came out of the registrar’s office, he pulled Carol in his arms and kissed her again.

After getting clicked with Carol he again sat in his car and the driver started the engine.
Carol asked, “Where are we going now?”
Lucas pulled her on his lap and said trailing kissed on her collar bone “To our home”
Carol was feeling so shy, luckily the car was divided with the partition otherwise the driver could see what they were doing.
Carol pushed Lucas and said, “What are you doing?”
Lucas said pecking her cheeks, “loving my wife”
Carol blushed to listen to the word “Wife” . She was unable to believe that she was Lucas’s wife now.
